Should I get this game? I never played the other two games, but I did watch a lets play of the first one a long time ago. Will I not understand the story? I barely remember much from the first game other than it was about a guy who is trying to become the number one assassin or something.

At least play the first one before this. Though I don’t really recommend this one unless you’ve played both 1 and 2. Those games are also better. 3 isn’t as horrible as some make it out to be, but it is the worst one overall.

3 is weird because I thought it was the best from a mechanical and boss design (mechanic wise) standpoint but I'd say it's the weakest game in the series over all. Still worth playing if you can get it cheap but definitely play 1, 2, and TSA prior to it.

Frankly, yes and no. It's a bit more nonsensical with references to TSA and Suda's other games.
The gameplay itself is really solid, runs OK on Switch. I think you might be better off watching a LP rather than playing it if you never played the first two.

The whole open world runs like absolute dog. Sure the stages are a bit better, but even then there are drops all over the place. Just get it on PC, at least the performance there is no issue.

As a long fan series i can say that it's not worth it unless is in sale. NMH 1 is the best, 2 is good, TSA play with a friend solo is boring and 3 have good gameplay but thats it. Story, soundtrack, characters, everything sucked and i felt so dissapointed about that.
