Easily the ugliest style ever conceived, it completely misses the point of pixel art.
The whole thing with modern pixel art is that it's abstract so it makes your brain fill in the detail and interprets things. In 3D voxels leave nothing to interpretation, the things are in fact made of little cubes while in 2d pixels are not inherently viewed as squares.
it's the best way to make a 3d block based game without the artstyle clashing too much. all these games with realistic HD models but very simple cube dirt blocks are ugly as sin.

Pretty good, an actual 9/10 game. I always advocate for playing vanilla over mods because a lot of the mods throw the balance and progress for a loop or ignore it outright and become so overpowered they needed to add their own overpowered bosses to cope with their overpowered items.
hardmode V spawns are randomized so you don't know which side is going to get hallow or corruption >build nice snow base >the entire area gets corrupted in hardmode
just ignore the mechanic then, you only lose discounts and pylons iirc
besides, i think you can still contain them in a single massive building if you create your own biomes for them to reside in and space them out properly

Are you playing with more than 3 people? That always happened to me when I tried to do it because paired, significant progression becomes exponentially harder the more people you have playing and the closer you get to the end.
almost perfect. I do really hate how the best and most interesting weapons in the game to go with the final tier armor is gated behind killing moonlord. You should be able to farm it elsewhere so you can fight him with that gear, getting it after makes it pointless as there is nothing left to use it on. At the very least some sort of NG+ or whatever where you keep all your shit and have to do all the bosses again but scaled to final gear would be good, but as is I hate it
just beat the wall of flesh for the first time and now i see crimson blocks at hell beneath my home (i put hellevators on both sides of it, couldn't be fricked doing horizontal mining)
The progression in early hard mode sucks. The first two ores are pointless because their gear isn't worthwile. You'll only ever use them to get you the third ore. Also redigit should stop autistically removing the fun COMPLETELY OPTIONAL progression breaking gear like reaver shark, early waterbolt and early meteorites. Great game though.
I can't beat moonlord. I've tried four different arena designs with bonfires, heart lanterns, honey, and heart statues, rails, platforms, walls, ect he still fricking annihilates me with lasers and eyeballs
I love Terraria but I'm never going to beat it solo

I would pay 120 dollars for a voxel 3d terraria sequel that they'd update for 10 more years to add as much content as terraria.

pylons don't fix corruption eliminating your other bases or solar invasions just killing everyone in these bases

Bosses are essentially DPS checkers, if you failed the DPS check, game over.

Just use the broomstick and fly all over the map while dodging his projectiles. It worked for me
use inventory editor to give your self some moronic advantage. its what the game wants you to do anyway but it wants you to beg for it first
It's okay in a mind numbing way I guess. It's one of those games that really tapped into the millenial urge for shut your brain off escapism.
