I will admit, it's pretty fun when you first start playing, it sure tricked a lot a people into buying it, but if you want to actually make some progress, that's only fun if you like grinding and tedium
It makes me wonder, why the FRICK tripple A Black folk arent making high budget crafting games. Shit sells, it just needs some level of quality in it, and a small dose of soul at least. Grounded was a hit, why they don't do more. Copy pasting terraria, but in 3D environment makes instant best seller, Valheim did that. So why are they making those boring slopply flops instead of crafting games, it's an easy concept.

I think the combat sucks although I'm not sure how it can be fixed without completely overhauling it
even small changes can have a large impact, overhaul makes relatively small changes to melee and TRAE make changes to mana costs and regeneration, both of them manage to make their respective classes fun to play
the only one that's fricked beyond repair is ranged
I think it's the character acceleration which makes it feel shit. You try to dodge but your character needs 0.5 to speed up first, so some things you can't react to no matter what. You just need to figure out that "oh I need to stay moving to dodge that move" or "I need to be flying upwards at max speed before this move comes"

i'd argue the bigger problem is bosses being designed around 690X420 arenas with 50 layers of platforms in them, wings are a fricking mistake
