Huge disappointment considering how much potential the premise had. They took what could have been a ludo real-time timeloop game and made it a shittier Dishonored. Either due to a lack of ambition or being held back by consoles.

the only one still going by that point was the Winston Boogie Smith stuff but it had calmed down quite a bit by mid September.

The levels aren't dense and they don't change enough over the day to justify there only being 4 of them either.
This was a makeup score for giving Prey a 4 (because the moron reviewing it didn't understand how saves worked). Deathloop is nowhere near a 10 but it also isn't anywhere near the level of disaster that Redfall was. Nobody at Arkane wanted to make that Gaas slop and it showed

This, tbh, it did almost nothing with the timeloop concept in terms of gameplay.

it came out over a year after the shooting, and two months before the trial. I highly doubt it has any relation to Deathloop's reception.
