I liked Xenoblade on the Wii, but not enough to get X on the Wii U. Since then, every game in the franchise looks like a parody of an anime that would be on TV in a comedy show. So I never gave it a try.
1 and 3 were excellent, though the class system in 3 was kinda shitty, you spend so much time swapping classes for fear of missing out on CP you never really settle for a good party that works well until post-game.
X was cool, I like mech combat and exploration but the characters and story were bad.
2 was just a shit game inside and out, unforgivably bad. I tried to like it, but the more I played the more I hated everything.
3's potential issues with the CP system is saved by silver nopon coins (and the Colosseum stuff with the DLC)

Calling the story decent is pushing it but the ost is pretty nice. I also like the sense of scale the worlds had even though running through them was duller than running through the average open world game.
Is there a single human being on Earth who enjoys all four games? Seems like each game appeals to wildly different groups of people to the point there's not even any consensus on which games are the good ones and which are the worst. I don't think theres a more fractured fanbase in video games.
I love Xenoblade, but I absolutely despise everything about 2.
Series should've stopped at 1, full stop. If X and 2 were part of a different franchise, I guarantee it would not be as divisive or hated.
Takahashi is failed by his own design and greed. Any threads here will show you that. Xenoblade should've never been a series.
Gameplay: Shit, shallow combat, low interactivity, rpg mechanics are awful, controls are average
Writing: Mediocre, some good moments ruined by awful endings and always seems to go downhill after the middle of the road, a mixed bag of good and forgettable dull characters, mediocre side quests and decent world building
Art style: generic, lacking in depth, good colors
Music: good
Level design: mediocre, some traversal progression but thats about it, exploration is boring, rewards are shit, the world is wide as ocean and deep as puddle
Final verdict: a mediocre overrated af series for smelly weebs, only the first game is decent.
3 was a mistake.
1 was good, endgame fricking sucked.
2 was good, gacha mechanics fricking sucked.
3 was perfect
>Liking 2
what a shit opinion, delete your post.

It's good.
X is the best one
1 and 2 were masterpieces.
3 and X were censored garbage.
Terrible game design carried by production values.
1 and 3 were the only good ones.
Coulda been great but kinda jumped the shark with the ridiculously proportioned bimbos and anime tiddies and whatnot
1 is good, 2 is great, 3 is garbage
X is a meme with some good ideas but awful execution
>2
>great
opinion discarded
Explain this scene other than "Takahashi thought it would look cool."
>UOOOOOOHHHHH

One of my favorites, love all 4 games

one of the best jRPG series ever, easily the best modern one
Haven’t played X, but the main trilogy is great
never played dubbed probably never will
Mediocre series with absolute garbage gameplay saved by a decent story and OST.

I like 1 and 3 the best.
2 was alright, it took too long to become fun. Gacha mechanics suck.
I never even finished X.
2 was the only good one.
