I noticed since back in the day as a wee lad. Always found it painfully obvious to see which were the red coins (although sometimes normal coins look like red coins but never the other way around)
homie, I only just found out this shit even existed. Same with the overword powerups in SMB3. Never questioned them as a kid and didn't think about it until recently.
It's a good version ,probably the best of the SMA ports especially sound-wise, but I still wouldn't play it over the SNES version because of the screen crunch.
Technically, this is the version I grew up with, but I prefer the original. At least the music actually sounds pretty close to the original unlike Mario Advance 2.
I played the frick out of it back in the day, but it's served its purpose, and there's no reason to play it now. To this day I still associate Yoshi jumping with the "briiing" vocal sound, and not the bouncy spring one.
I like it snes is better because of the red coins hint, which was removed on the gba port. Also the credits sequence lags on gba
I like it BUT. Is what i meant to say
so magnifying glass is useless on snes
It's very subtle. Many people probably didn't even notice.

the glass also shows hidden '?' bubbles
Could you delete this post? It goes against my agenda, thanks.

Less annoying crying noise
The original already had too much annoying shit to 100%, the extra levels of SMA3 were not welcome
Nobody has said why the SNES version is better yet.
"Boing" jump sound effect > Yoshi's voice.
As a kid I loved having this game on a GBA SP.
As an adult I think it looks and sounds terrible compared to the SNES version.
No reason to play it unless you honestly care about whatever unimportant extras they tacked on.
It has a weird as frick 100% ending thats exclusive to it
Worst version of a shit game.
You get off to loud baby cries?
Pedophile
I believe that would make him a baby hater not a phile
fart music
I prefer the SNES version but this version is great simply because it's easier to emulate on budget handhelds
