>more than 10GB of ram being used at 1600x900
yeah... it sure is nice having to buy new hardware because developers can't be bothered to even try anymore
Good thing I don't play most AAAshit.
Mildly worried about DD2 since RE4RE also ate VRAM like crazy, but RE engine scales super well so I'll probably still be fine.
Capcom is a hit or miss in their optimization so meh. >unless you only want to play indie 2d pixel games.
I am fine playing RDR2 forever 2bh until I get a new card
The GTA always comes out less than a year after its console release, if the game comes out at the end of 2025 or mid-2026 >muh gta V 2 years
It came out first for the seventh gen, then a year later it came out for the new gen and 6 months later it came out for PC, they don't plan to release GTA 6 for PS4/Xbox One so it will be the same pattern that has been going on since GTA 3.
just because it takes advantage of 10-16 gigs of vram on a 4090 doesn't mean it needs that much. Games will fill up both ram and vram pools as much as they possible can to save time and resources. This test isn't interesting unless you showed an 8gig or 10gig card and if they stuttered

jokes on you I got 20Gb
Good thing I don't play most AAAshit.

If you have an 8gb card you're probably fricked, unless you don't mind setting textures to the lowest.
>[HEADCANON]
it depends of the optimization
Exactly, and developers can't optimize for SHIT, so, yeah, 8gb cards are kind of fricked, unless you only want to play indie 2d pixel games.
That fricks 95% of Ganker over
Capcom is a hit or miss in their optimization so meh.

my pc has 32gb ram so I'm fine
nice bait
>another well optimized aaa kino
HYPE
Nowadays you need as much vram as system ram. lmao
>amd sponsored game
>high vram usage
many such cases. it's almost like they're pushing for it or something.
>titan xp 12gb
i'm ok
Vram usage scales depending on how much of it you actually have. Stupid fricking homosexuals.
>imagine being one of those morons who bought a 3070Ti
Worse, imagine being one of the morons who bought that turd for $600+.
>16gb
I'm good for the moment.
Oh noes I guess I won't be able to play it. Sad.
>RTX 3090 24GB
:3c
I don't play goyslop so 8GB is just fine for me.
>RTX 2060 6gb
I don't give a shit, I will update for the RTX 5000 or RX 8000 series when GTA 6 is about to be released on PC.
youre gonna upgrade in 2027?

It's always these fake charts you homosexuals use. Post real gameplay benchmarks.
>24Gb
>still not playing ubi games
Why should I care? 12GB VRAM is plenty enough for pic rel, I don't really need more.
good thing my vega 56 supports HBCC
