Ticker the termite is angry, because he wants Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie remakes. And Ticker does not have them.

They'll make them in the hideous art style of Nuts and Bolts or Yooka Laylee
>They'll make them in the hideous art style of Nuts and Bolts
lol they even TRIED to do that already, the project didn't get very far
and why on earth would you think that?
Because Sakurai is not going to be in charge of any possible remakes, idiot
Yooka layle looked fine aside from four characters.
Ticker has shit taste because remakes are a horrendous practice and consistently shit
Bad remakes are bad. Good remakes are good.
Learn the difference scrub.
They wouldn't do that they clearly learned their lesson.
>They wouldn't do that they clearly learned their lesson.
I've seen no evidence for this claim
No such thing as a good remake. The original is what people cherished. Never in my life have I ever purchased a remake, you gays are insane.
Thank you. OP is an underage using Ticker for his own agenda. Go play the originals and stop fricking up the classics.
Okay but A) it's not even physically possible to retroactively ruin an old game just because a new one came out and 7) what if the BK remake is actually GOOD tho
What is wrong with you cynical, defeated people? Is the concept of a good--nay, great--remake being made really so goddamn unthinkable. Have some hope you sorry sops, the next Banjo game might be amazing and better than the originals for all we fricking know
>whataboutism
No.
>Cynical
No, just stating the facts. The originals hold up and the XBLA ports cleaned up some of the controls and performance issues. You can literally play those right now, but you seem to want some shitty HD remake because the old graphics are bad. Part of why gaming is dead now is because no one wants to make new original games and are content with remaking old games and ruining those in the process.
>No
Yes and frick you for being a negative nancy. I will continue to have well-founded optimism for the future of the Banjo franchise, thanks.
>Being realistic is being a negative nancy
You are going to get burned harder than every Banjo fan in 2008 did and I don't want to hear you cry about it either.
The XBLA ports are probably the best we can get. You just know anything with more "effort" will be shit.
Mr. Vile is hungry, hungrier than thou.
Name one problem with thr Xbox versions
Music Notes saving after death is bullshit
>but I like it cuz it's more convenient and it means I can die with no real consequences
Yeah that's the problem, ain't it.
That would be the problem if BK were intentionally meant to be a hard game but it’s not. It’s an extremely easy casual game. Really goes against that when you have one mechanic that actively discourages sloppy play.
Not like it really matters anyway. Rusty bucket bay is the only stage most people will ever even die on.
I guess you're right, Banjo is extremely casual-friendly in terms of difficulty, aside from the occasional situation where some creative at Rare clearly gave in to their cruel sadistic impulses. I just think Banjo-Kazooie shouldn't have NO punishment for death, that is too far. It fricks up the game too much. Banjo just needs a really soft death punishment to disencourage dying repeatedly, that's all.
There are plenty of levels where you can die like a moron if you play like shit, Rusty Bucket Bay is just the only level with a really easy to trigger instant death.
Fair but there's no way that gets changed in a remake. At best you would get phantom notes that reappear to provide the breadcrumbs
Ticker is a dumbass because he more or less already has the XBLA ports that Microsoft has made readily available for future Xbox generations to come. The only thing he does not have is a total graphical update that'd likely look like poo anyways.
Don't forget their "graphical update" would probably also necessitate framerate drops+upscaling+dynamic resolution.
What developer could do it?
Me. Give me creative control of your IP, I will do it.
I wouldn't mind them having a go at remaking them, would be great if they didn't frick them up.
But the 360 versions are great too and they emulate perfectly on the Xenia (canary build) in 4K and has patches for it that makes it 60fps
Gruntilda is beautiful just the way she is.
And so is Terrydactyland
I'd rather a new game than a remake tbh ne?
I know it's old hat but there has simply never been a good remake.
No? He was mad cuz that other ant had a cool ass blue backpack. Also the HD versions are fine enough.
you mean he is ticked off
ha ha
More levels
I don't see any great need for remakes. The games hold up fine as it is, and you'd be bound to lose something in translation.
Banjo was never good.
You probably actually really believe that you fricking moronic Black person gay
Where's the new Banjo
>*heavy chihuahua breathing*
Where is Nuts and Bolts 2?!!
Why would I want the same game? They should make a sequel.
Cause that worked so well for Crash Bandic**t.
Ticker the Termite can go to hell
>Ticker the Termite can go to hell
Okay. But I still want remakes.
Good, stay there. Heaven is where Clanker, Nabnut, Nabnut's wife, and Boggy but not Boggy's wife will go.
I know not if a situation will arise in which I will use it, but I hope you don't mind if I save this image.
OOGA BOOGA WER DA REMAKE AT
It's in the can.
>remakes
Man I didn't even think shit like N. Sane and Reignited looked bad, but I'm getting sick of the "minimal effort, throw on some new graphics" remakes. I already own the originals, at least add a little more stuff to make it worth it.
Reignited looked a LOT better than N.Sane, even if it didn't capture the signature color palette of the originals. But the animation was quality and it didn't feel cheap like N.Sane.
Yeaaah ha haaa!
Old King Cole was a merry old soul,
And a merry old soul was he;
He called for his pipe, and he called for his bowl,
And he called for his fiddlers three.
This character was named by a contest in the UK Nintendo mag, I remember them running it. I don't recall what the runners up were, but Old King Coal seems like such an obvious one now that I think of it.
Who is even going to develop it? Playtonic? Toys for Bob?
You might say he's ticked off
Ticker is their word. You can say ticka.
Tooie > Kazooie
You fricker
Stop 'n Swop?
Can you imagine a shittier name for an IP than fricking Banjo-Kazooie?
Even the target audience furries must cringe a little at least.
This game is for ugly hispanics playing on their spicnet cable connection. My cable network has mostly white people working on it and I get the fastest data speeds as a result. My graphics are digital hallucinations broadcast to me in blindingly bright lights which are born from the supernova of stars.
>help!
>help!
>*whistles*
>help!
>give me a new fricking game!
>help!
Jinjoooooo!
Weee!
*BANG*
I'll remember, for my safety and that of my friends and family.
>You should have helped me, bear
Just, why the frick isn't Rare Replay on PC?
It's pretty fricked yeah, but it emulates really well so it's not that important anyway. But still lame
I have a feeling it might be an emulation issue relating to the Xbox 360 Live Arcade, but who really knows. It's a shame because at this point the only reason why I break out my Xbone is to play Rare Replay.
>In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Banjo was redesigned with a mix of his design from Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie and official artwork. His body is now back to a rounder appearance and his body ratio has been tweaked to make his head slightly smaller. His backpack now has red accents and a bottom flap, per concept and promotional artwork from those games, and is crested with a Rare logo pin. The design was made by the same person who originally designed Banjo in Diddy Kong Racing, Paul Cunningham.
Soulful
>all the details in the Spiral Mountain stage
>collaborating with Grant Kirkhope for a remix even though Sakurai normally only works with Japanese composers for the Smash soundtracks
>virtually all his moves and general movements are references to animations in the game
They put a lot of effort into BK for Smash
yfw the Jiggy bounced across the floor at the start of the reveal trailer
I literally screamed when that happened, but when the trailer started I knew it was Banjo & Kazooie. Something just told me.
Why didn't they ever put rare replay on pc? Seems like free money.
EEKUM BOOKUM, ALL THE TERMITES OR TICKERS AS MUMBO LIKES TO CALL THEM, GET OFF MUMBO'S MOUNTAIN BECAUSE IT'S FOR SHAMANS ONLY, UNDERSTAND, CAUSE IF YOU DON'T MUMBO MAKE TERMITES SLAVES AGAIN!!!
I had way more fun and way more dedicated hours into Nuts and Bolts than I did any other Banjo game. Building shit is fun as frick in that game
Not sure if anyone else has seen this yet.
zzzzzzzzzz
Funny how that picture in the back is actually from the game where Banjo was doing flying ninja kicks and shit and not some cut level
