OP here, forgot to mention that top down shooter Super Animal Royale is currently doing a medieval themed battle pass to tie in with its release of playable dragons, as well as having its CRISPRmas event underway. You can also continue to progress any previous pass after its over alongside the current one (if you buy it), which means it has what little respect I can possibly give any game with this service model.

You can always just pick whoever you think the protagonist would use it for in that case, or make your choice purely based on the benefits it may provide.
