>it s a success
>69% review score on steam
lol lmao
>gamepass game
>steam relevant
>game sells millions of copies but because reviews aren't perfect it's a failure
kek, that's a cope all right
Yes. That's correct.
most them are moron takes (muh loading screeeeeens) or performance complaints (moronic third worlders)
>if you want your game to be immersive you're moronic
>If you want your game to perform adequately to its visual quality you're poor
why the frick do you want to suck microwiener that fricking badly
if loading screens kill your immersion, how have you been fricking gaming the last 2 decades?
the game performs adequately, if you have an ssd and a decent rig.
>if loading screens kill your immersion, how have you been fricking gaming the last 2 decades?
nothing comes even close to the shit bethesda pulled with starfield
the game revolves around loading screens
>the game performs adequately, if you have an ssd and a decent rig.
there isn't good enough hardware in the fricking world to play a space shooter at 144 fps even on low settings at 1080p
the engine is just thoroughly fricked and there's no denying it
exaggerating your woes this much should land you in prison for fraud
no argument then?
the game objectively runs like dogshit despite being a cell segmented loading screen filled outdated looking piece of shit
> Loading screens kill your immersion
Yes, we were used to them as games without them were rare.
This gen we should be expecting single-player games to have none.
Also, Starfield has more loading screens from traversal and fast travel than a normal playthrough of Fallout and Skyrim. The game requiring fast travel is unforgivable.
> the game performs adequately, if you have an SSD
The game doesn't even run without an SSD so you can't even say the loafing screen complaints are from HDD users.
And even if the loading is short the black screens are what makes it immersion-breaking. It basically tells you, "Hey this is a game and we need to load the next area!"
This
Anon isn't exaggerating; this shit is unforgivable for a "next-gen" game that isn't even visually impressive.
I wonder if Gamepass downloads are counted as sales
No? It's fricking Circana retail tracking.
They are tracking them as sales.
No sales are a different metric to subs. Microsoft and Sony don't declare the amount of downloads as part of the sub regardless. This is purely sales at retail (physical + digital).
I sure if you play with the numbers enough you can say anythings true, from a certain perspective. Anyhow it was already noted in another thread this stat is curated and forced.
AWE man babies crying again? Todd Won, you lost (again).
Get cancer, uncultured homosexual animal.
So what are the actual numbers?
>with PC being the lead platform
Well that’s curious, because it didn’t even hit 400k concurrent players on steam, and the line I kept hearing was that the majority played on gamepass which wouldn’t be a sale
The last time the PC was the lead platform for a Bethesda game was Daggerfall. Every game after did better on consoles.
Why do you think they make PC players fix the game?
Slopfield is 3rd mediocre looter shooter in a row by Todd.
Its selling on Bethesdas namesake and hundreds million dollars of marketing campaign.
But now players know what Microsoft Zenimax Bethesda is all about.
TES6 will also sell millions but if its boring looter action game with shallow "RPG elements" tacked on, it will be the end for even the most casual and clueless of fans.
>best-selling
Installs on goypass do not = sales xboxtroon.
>sale data does not equal sales!
>gaypass subscription = $10
>copies of games =$70
When you stop paying for goypass you do not have access to the game anymore.
Larian does not participate in the circana survey, so yes, their data isn't real
I played Phantom Liberty after 1 playthrough of Starfield, I cant even remember wtf I played, only the dumb multiverse shit. Bethesda is over.
>played Phantom Liberty after 1 playthrough of Starfield
I did the same. Cyberpunk is a 3 year old game and it shits so hard on Starfield it's unreal. Baldur's Gate 3 isn't even a first person game and it still shits on Starfield. At this point i am expecting Rogue Trader to shit on Starfield as well. Todd should kill himself. All those money and all those devs and he made such a turd.
It has to be the most soulless, bland, corpo game ever made. It's like the game was completely made by AI.
>It's like the game was completely made by AI.
>Starfield is the best selling game!!!!!
>…..of September
Yes, that's the month it came out in
What else came out in September?
Lies of p and party animals
MK1 and EA Sports FC 24(aka Story of Seasons to FIFA's Harvest Moon). Obviously this is American NPD/Circana tracking so soccer isn't going to have too much enthusiasm, but beating MK1 is a pretty impressive feat and getting #7 on year to date is a sign of a great opening. The real test will be what will it do in October, and so forth.
Maybe I am a hater, but I doubt Starfield will have similar impact and staying power as Skyrim and Fallout 4 did. The reception seems very muted, and initial sales were probably due to usual Bethesda hype.
Lies of P and uhhhh trine 4 and uhhh...
Mortal kombat
Lucky number 7!
>Lies incessantly
>Games still sell millions
How?
>Behind Sony for revenue with their "game of the generation" release
>console sales behind Playstation
>70% steam sales
>2% decline in GamePass subs
Jesus xbox really is a dead brand.
Gamepass subs increased in September according to the same source. Playstation subs decreased.
yes, that is the power of having your studio named "Bethesda"
this good will won't last if they keep putting out massive stinkers like Starfield
oooooof
>source:dude trust me
now show the returns
Doesn't include steam refunds, which is probably 40% at least.
>spend like 10 years making a game
>it can't even sell more than 6 other games in the year of release
Are you sure about that?
How can you defend that bland trash of a game?
I hope you're paid for this.
Sorry OP, you got beat in the gaygiest thread of the year by another troglodyte the other day. Try harder next time.
That's very mediocre for a company that made Skyrim.
