I don't see why low budget voice acting is offensive. They get professionals to do main characters and then they get one of the artists named Dave with no voice acting experience -who happened to have nothing to do for the next 45 minutes- to say a few poorly recorded lines in the 11th hour for some side characters. The voice acting is amateurish and exaggerated because that's what they had to work with. I can guarantee it is the same thing for the white side characters. Even if these so called offensive characters were removed from the game, the disclaimer would still be there at the start because then the characters wouldn't be diverse enough.

This is legitimately one of the few acceptable solutions when it comes to presenting games with content that might be viewed as contentious to some people. I don't care if people need a trigger warning if it means I get to play the game without censorship. The only other solution is making an option in the game that manifests censorship and an ability to turn that on and off. But throwing some text on screen is probably much easier.
