So this game just released. You get the full game without the microtransactions bullshit if you have a Netflix account. My personal thoughts so far it's pretty damn good for a mobile game and runs on my potato device quite well. Lets talk about this game.
>You get the full game without the microtransactions bullshit if you have a Netflix account.
How does that work? Like, are the upgrades and energy system unlimited or what?
Also, I thought it was meh. I would prefer if there was an attack button instead of attacks being automatic. It also has tons of currencies, which is expected from those games but still.
>How does that work? Like, are the upgrades and energy system unlimited or what?
Probably something like that. I mean, I played some games on Play Pass before and typically you get the base game with all the extra content, ads are disabled, and in-game stores selling boosters and stuff are typically removed altogether too.
>are the upgrades and energy system unlimited or what?
Stuff like the energy system can be earned or wait for it to replenish.
I want to play it but it says it's not available in my region (Russia). I thought it's related to politics, but apparently it's available here but on ios, also I've seen a post on TR forums that it's still not available in Netherlands as well
you're not missing out on anything. if you want to play it just download Archero. same thing at the end of the day.
Archero doesn't have Lara
I was wrong, it's not on ios either.
it's up in Russia and NL, I can see lots of iinstalls from both countries
How do you see installs exactly?
CIA network
It's just another Archero clone. except this time you need a Netflix account to play it. fricking pathetic. netflix should stop ripping off games and actually get creative. jesus christ.
>you need a Netflix account to play it
you don't? I downloaded it from the play store just fine
yet the 2nd free "version" doesn't seem to work on my device. it seems Netflix's "version" works on 32 bit devices just fine. but the other version that doesn't require a netflix account ONLY works on 64 bit based devices. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but it's hilarious that it is something. I'll just crack the netflix one bypassing the login verification and use it without ads. frick you Netflix.
>ill just crack the netflix one bypassing the login verification and use it without ads. frick you Netflix.
I'm still trying to figure out how to do that, I don't think anyone has uploaded anything related to this or the TMNT game.
How do you do this brah??
Yeah, Netflix exclusives can kiss my ass. I was looking forward to try Into the Breach (it seemed more convenient to play on mobile rather than on PC) only to find out that you need to become a bingewatcher to play it.
'All right', I thought, 'At least they have their own store to compete with Google over who can provide better services.' Nope. The whole collection infests the android store like a malignant tumor.
>netflix should stop ripping off games and actually get creative. jesus christ.
No, there's 2 versions there's the free to play one with microtransactions and the non-paid premium one under Netflix.
Netflix came in on the deal only a few months ago, they have nothing to do with its development; they just pay a massive sum to crystal dynamics to host a version on their platform
I made it to chapter 3 and i am complete dogshit at this. I'm no good at bullet hell stuff where you have to keep stopping
How long do you give it before they shut it down?
The gameplay is numbingly boring, the grinding is tedious and beyond the few fans that would play this I don't see it having a big fanbase or wide appeal.
It has over 100k installs already and a high retention rate, projections look good for 5+ years
It's been one week. Here are my thoughts:
>levels barely have variety at all
>grinding for anything is insufferable and a must after every chapter
>I think it's cute how some of the sfx are from the original games, like the page sound when scrolling through the screen, can't tell if they did it as nostalgia bait or to save cents on assets
>as you progress you get new abilities, but they aren't retroactive i.e. unlocking mines in chapter two won't let you use them on chapter 1, only in chapter 3 and above
>the landmine abilities are irrelevant since you are always away from the enemies and with few exceptions the enemies will stay away from you
>the abilities that let you ricochet bullets through walls are broken when paired with the ones that let you hit through enemies or that spread your bullets in two directions
>not sure if a pro or con, but since you get more abilities as you progress it's less likely to get the abilities previously mentioned and so less likely to cheese the game
>the madmen have a gem box that fills up as you play, problem is that you have to buy it with real cash
>money is so abundant because it's hard to soend it once you run out of manuals to upgrade equipment
was this game really that good for Doom to have the same game with the same gameplay as well?
I just noticed this as well gameplay is good but so bullshit how both Reloaded and Mighty are pretty much the exact same games.
Isn't the original Archero?
>Archero
The UI looks exactly the same that's a shame.

Will I get banned if I use vpn to download this game?
