I love vidya too but for the same reason I don't buy more food than I can eat at the grocery store, I don't acquire more games than I can reasonably play. If you are gathering them for archival/preservation purposes to maybe return to many years from now then go for it, I did that with every title I could ever care about and many more that I do not from the PS2 era on backwards.
But if you're downloading 10x more games than you can actually play and investing emotional energy into them as they sit on your harddrive like you can play them when you can't... then newsflash you dip, you are lying to yourself. You let yourself get invested in things that you can't do, like someone who keeps an overly large circle of acquaintances with the intention of being close to all of them and ends up finding it to be tiring and impossible to properly connect and stay connected with them on that level.

I would never tell a person to delete their backlog of things they have downloaded because of the state of videogame preservation from publisher side these days. I am just saying, as I have said like 3 times now, to try to adjust your mindset when you download and keep and view these games to meter your expectations and don't expect to play most of what you download, just enjoy the fact that you have it available when you want it, if you want it later.
