So basically just roll again and again...and again and again cinematic bosses for the kiddies? Ok. Modern from fan everyone. For me it's Micolash or Executioners Chariot
No, he's right, souls bosses that are more than "round arena fighting a generic melee boss" are well executed most of the time. That's why I listed Tower Knight as my top 3 favorite bosses; it makes you stop and think "what am I doing wrong?", while delivering the surprise factor at the beginning, leaving you stunned with information.
Souls bosses need to be difficult. The whole selling point of the souls series is the feeling of hopelessness against an overwhelming enemy (puny undead with just some weapons and armor vs literal gods). An easy boss is objectively bad design.
Not really a fan of any of these but i do like extreme shitter filters, so: >Fume knight >Ancient dragon >Malenia
Honorable mention 2cat for the runback
Gael
Godfrey
Midir >b-but Elden Ring doesn't count becau-
okay, move Midir to 2nd and replace him in 3rd with Burnt Ivory King
Honorable Mention goes to Radagon, he'd be on the list but Elden Beast is kind of meh
Graverobbers cause im not a normie npc and I can handle gameplay that's more technical than just hitting the roll button at the right time in a samey flat circular arena, and use my surroundings to take advantage of unique opportunities and strategies like using the pool of water with a lightning buff for maximum damage.
>Executioners Chariot
I loved this boss, one of the few highlights of DS2.
>Executioners Chariot

I know my top two are Orphan and Ludwig, but there's like a million bosses tied for third that don't quite have the secret sauce that those two do. Bosses like Mohg, Godwyn, Nameless King, Demon Princes, Gael, Soul of Cinder, Artorias, O&S, Gascoigne, Maria... I don't think I could pick just one out of the pile that comfortably sits above the rest.
>ludwig
I hate that fricking moronic jumping attack so much.
But I always loved this fight because of when the second phase starts and the epic music kicks in.
I, literally unironically, thought bed of chaos was the most memorable fight in ds1 and whenever I think of that game I think of that long strangely backrooms feeling trek to that crazy huge otherworldly demonic architecture and then sliding down right in front of a demon who has become the environment itself. I didn't know anything about the game when I played and these are my honest impressions. You guys just suck at movement and learning lessons from death. You stubbornly jump into the same stupid hole the game has already taught you not to get near and then you scream until your mom makes you shut the console down. I enjoyed it. I also thought blighttown was very memorable. It pushed me to be adaptive. I played on x360.
Rebutal:
>Malenia
>Tower Knight
>Manus
Sekiro isn’t soul
Ah, you bring me back to 2014 when people were fighting whether Bloodborne was or not a souls.
So basically just roll again and again...and again and again cinematic bosses for the kiddies? Ok. Modern from fan everyone. For me it's Micolash or Executioners Chariot

How is Twin Princes good outside of the music? Boring ass fight. Not to mention really easy
OH MAI GAWD ITS SO EZ wow totally oh my god i cant enjoy something if i dont DIE 15 bajillion times to gotcha farts!

Twin princes is a fun ass fight, great setting, awesome music, kino narrative.
so...nothing. Modern from fan everyone
I started with Dark Souls in 2011 and DS3 is my least favorite Souls game, but Twin Princes is kino.
>Ludwig
They've still never topped him thematically or musically
Twin Princes OST is the GOAT
IMO, they almost managed to it with the Divine Dragon fight in Sekiro, but the fight was simply too easy in the long run.
that was such a gay and boring fight
Mohg's music is equally good.
>no orphan
Orphan has the difficulty factor, but I don't find the fight that engaging or exciting.
Souls:
>gherman
>pontiff
>alonne
From:
>balteus
>balteus
>balteus
holy contrarian
Where are you trying to get at
Not really a fan of any of these but i do like extreme shitter filters, so:
>Fume knight
>Ancient dragon
>Malenia
Honorable mention 2cat for the runback

>Dragonslayer armor
>Four kings
And if elden ring counts then probably Morgott
Gael
Godfrey
Midir

My aneurism is coming back
>wall of cope
>video is just a fight against an npc dressed in havels
never change ds2keks
This "boss" is literally just 3 NPCs. Is your favorite BB boss the three guys at Yahargul Chapel too?
You'll get a bunch of casuals seething because it's not le Zanzibart, or whoever the frick, but you're 100% right.
dks2 troons will say anything

DS1: Artorias
DS2: Fume Knight
DS3: Sister Friede
Bloodborne: Ludwig
Elden Ring: Crucible Knight
If sekiro is souls then I'm adding AC6
>Spider
>Genichiro
>Ape/Headless Ape (first encounter)
I never played souls games for the bosses as much as exploration and overcoming an entire area, the bosses are often less memorable for me.
If AC6 is souls then i´m adding The Adventures of Cookie & Cream.
>Big Fish
>Trick Robot 99
>manus father of the abyss
If The Adventures of Cookies & Cream is souls then I'm adding a BMW i5 with heated seats

In no particular order.

i never fell down the holes i just got whacked into them by the stupid fricking tentacles
that boss fight is so stupid
It's called reacting to the boss and making sure you survive by moving your character in response.
There is literally no point playing any other game than Elden Ring, fromdrone
Elden Ring is my personal favourite but Sekiro and DS3 have superior bosses (on average)
>there are people that think malenia is a top 3 boss fight
>Deacons of the Deep
>Capra Demon
>Abyss Watchers
For me it's:
3. Dragonlord Placidusax
2. Twin Demons
1. Midir
>Slaveknight Gael (easy)
>Gaping Dragon
>Isshin Sword Saint
ludwig looks like that famous scp that regenerates
>Sister Friede
>Artorias
>Gael
