I kinda wish Ganker could discuss this game objectively. If I were being objective I'd rate starfield as a 8.5-9 simply because I think its incredible they got the tech they have to run on the shitty series s and it's a great universe and fun to play. But there are so many things I hate like all the intersectional politics shit like Barrett being a guy nugget in space and Sam Coe having a mixed race daughter with a white woman inferring he's not even her dad, the repeated guy marriage features that don't comport with humanity colonizing anything because guys can't produce children, the girl boss inserts everywhere a rugged masculine character should be like with mercenaries and military leadership, the female president of the UC with no vision or inspiration just a b***h in a tower, the Russian guy in the eye with a Russian name and a Russian accent but he's just a Black person because why the hell not, it is relentless in Starfield. And then there's the fact that there are only like 3 dungeons copy pasted on every planet and moon, the cryolab that malfunctioned, the mining operation with an embedded dinosaur skeleton at the end, and that's the only 2 I can recall and I've done exactly those dungeons 9 or 10 times a piece by now and they all have the same bodies, the same notes, the same ends, the same corridors everything. I thinknfor that Starfield deserves a 7 or less but I suspect patches and updates will add alot and change things for the better. But as long as there's a hate campaign designed to upset my experience, I'm obligated to say Starfield is a 10/10 flawless gem and that's just how it is.

It's best to get a series x. The series s was advantageous for Microsoft for all of 2 years when they couldn't meet chip demands for the series s and it has hurt them long term. Starfield is not optimized for pc with driver supports and runs only slightly better on the highest end pc you can get. Imo Starfield was an ambitious game that had to dial all the way down to something that would run on the series s and that's why everything is so fricked with it. Bg3 had to be delayed for Xbox because of series s, halo infinite looks like a last Gen game just so local coop could run on the series s. Xbox just allowed Larian to release bg3 with no support for local coop on the series s and only available on the series x because the series s is absolutely devastating for production in the current Gen, it won't be long before some games get released on the series x with delayed release windows for series s players because homosexuals couldn't hold out and just get the series x when it became acaikable.

I literally just bought a series S the other and it’s perfectly fine. Runs Starfield great. If you can afford an Z it’s definitely better for longevity but the Series S is not a bad little device. It’s also really small which is cool.
Also playing the game on PC with GamePass ultimate. I bought my PC in 2021 and it runs the game flawlessly with no slowdowns or issues. Not quite sure how some folks are having such a bad time or if it’s a farce but my anecdotal experience has been great regardless of platform.
Surprisingly well actually, I kinda wish I was forced to upgradt to X but most things run fine

I can see easily satisfied morons REALLY liking the game but you are straight up lying if you say its a 10/10. There are so many obvious bugs, graphical issues, gameplay issues, recycled assists, bad AI, bad UI decisions that were made that prevent that from being objectively possible.
