I literally just explained how WoW also has an infinite spending ceiling. If both Korean MMO's and WoW have infinite spending potential, the Korean MMO wins. They don't force people to pay for "expansion packs" plus monthly subs.

It's not bad, I do enjoy some Runeterra, but Snap is a way more modern design

It's also surprisingly F2P friendly. No idea how it keeps making money.
This is undeniable. I have a lot of issues with the game but it's the most F2P-friendly game, in general, I've seen. The simple fact that you get as much EXP playing the adventure mode as you do climbing the ladder is huge.
My only guess is that they want huge player numbers to show investors to keep getting funding. Best way to do that is to make it so you can play very easily without spending any money.

They keep selling meta changing cards in the battle pass which steamrolls most of the other decks so it's kinda p2w. It kinda made me sick matching repeatedly against said cards.

Marvel Snap is more fun than Hearthstone and has no gacha mechanics. It's still shit because it has the obligatory battle pass/cash shop that infests every single multiplayer game now, but I have to give credit where it's due.
