    >460 million
They’re not even worth 30 million lmao, what is T2 smoking? Will embracer still retain the rights to Duke?

      Anonymous

Just for context; T2 isn't actually spending $460 million to buy Gearbox. What they are actually doing is just generating $460 million of new shares out of thin air and handing them over to Embracer. They're essentially getting the company for free with the only downside being less than 2% dillution of their share pool

    >Take Two owns Gearbox which was owned by Embracer
    >Embracer owned Volition before pulling the plug

This is the closet Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row has ever been.

Embracer doesnt even know how to make money for their shareholders. Nothing to compare with ubislop and blizzard. They ballooned on cheap credit and tried to sell to the Saudis but the deal fell through and the CEO got fired, ever since the deal failed they've been fricked.

So many great IPs from the 2010s are stuck with Embracer, this company is one of the greatest cancer on gaming.

Either Eidos goes to Microsoft, who will not do jack shit with their IPs, or it will go to Sony who will do nothing with their IPs and shut it down after two years. I cannot see for the life of me the company going any route which is not ending in complete disaster.

That was peanuts for them. They'll make their money back from this acquisition from a month of GTA6 shark cards.
