I'm not sure what distinction you're drawing between FLC and additional free content being added to a previous DLC. Morghur was only playable for owners of the WH1 Beastmen DLC (at the time - I think nowadays if you own Taurox you get him too, but that was years later). Wood Elves for WH1 is explicitly required for Drycha, you don't get her just for owning Sisters of Twilight. And obviously Bone Giants were a late addition to Tomb Kings because they weren't finished for launch, just like the Kharibdyss for DE. None of those three things are 'available to everyone'.

I forgot to add Moira which has a banshee skin that's cool but the base character looks bad. Designing a woman to be "handsome" when that used to be a masked insult for less attractive women is a total mindfrick, it's like the people who made her have no cultural memory what so ever, and live in a bubble.
What i mean by traditionally attractive females isn't that you make all female characters look like Mercy or Widow, it's that you look at archetypes of beauty. That Junker queen is another wasted opportunity to introduce a muscle girl in the game.
Symmetra is good looking, too bad they went the extra mile to make her look stereotypically Indian.
I don't have any expectations from a developer that has racial quotas or uses that system they bragged about a few years ago which allotted more points based on how much less white, less attractive, less intelligent, less everything and basically fricked up a character was, which guided their character design philosophy.

I mean, there's not much to say about it. We know absolutely nothing except for a couple youtubers have given a few "my dad works for Nintendo" hints that may or may not be bullshit. And there are only so many ways to laugh at CA's current state that don't loop back around to Hyenas because that was pretty much the root cause of everything stretching all the way back to WH3's horrible launch. I'd rather talk about crunchier gameplay topics than speculate on what kitbash Kossar variant is going to be added to Kislev a couple months from now. For example; when do you ever recruit Medusas/Bloodwrack Shrines as DE? I'd rather just have an extra unit of Shades in every single circumstance; they're more killy, don't get focused by enemy archers and have stalk. You can't doomstack them, they can't chase anything down, they can't tank and their ranged blast is horrible. What's the point of them?

Overwatch is less popular because rather than making new content, maps, improvements or expanding on what people enjoyed they tried to focus hard into esports which was a failure from the go and on skins and cosmetics they could lootbox to death. Then when Activision wanted to chase a different fad 10 years too late they tried to make OW2 a live service battle pass game, which they objectively failed to do because again these demand CONSTANT CONTENT, that's what separates shit like Fortnite and other successful gaastrash titles.
It was one of those completely obvious and blatant mega flops that we've been getting over the last few years (Forspoken, Saints Row, Suicide Squad etc), where every single person in the world except the suits in charge of the project knew for a fact it was going to bomb right from the reveal. It was a game that appealed to nobody, and arrived five years late to the genre they were trying to ape, but CA and Sega still pumped $100m into it (I'm not making that number up, by the way).
The funny thing is that the game was going to be all about smashing the capitalist b*stards who are wringing money out of the poor underclass... and it was designed from the beginning to be crammed full of MTX and season passes from the beginning. It doesn't get more tone deaf than that.
