>totally outclasses Skyrim in every way except 'sandboxiness'
Are they any other mods that outshine the game they're built on? Also is Nehrim worth playing?

I saw the intro a few years back with the guy in the burning house repeatedly saying "bring me a nice crisp piece of meat". Is the rest of the game filled with moments like that?
>Is the rest of the game filled with moments like that?
That scene comes back a few times but don't expect the whole story to make too much sense.
It makes sense. What part didn't you understand?
Yeah sadly It's got lots of the MC seeing some shit, and going "Whoah." Also features the classic getting knocked out. Though apart from the overuse of extended cutscenes it's pretty good.
I'll have to try it. I like Dust for FN:V, but I don't think it necessarily outclasses the original. More of a epilogue than a standalone like Enderall.
I don't know man it's a dungeon crawler at it's core. Sure the story is completely different, but it's still about a hero delving ancient ruins for things.
It's filled with moments of the main character suddenly getting knocked out
You're the only one who has problem with that, Warlockracy.
that's probably the worst bit of voice acting in the entire game, honestly. Second worse is the pseudo-native american chick who sounds too out of place for the setting. I can't place her accent though. just sounds aggravatingly American.
I have never played a German rpg that wasn't awful
I liked Realms of Arkania, but unfortunately their countrymen seem to ignore it in favour of Gothic, besides that awful remake of the series some incompetent Krauts made.
Nehrim is great too, it fixes all the problems Oblivion had.
fun fact : Bethesda liked Nehrim so much they ripped off a lot of ideas for Skyrim.
>they ripped off a lot of ideas for Skyrim.
REally? What did they copy?
Yes, it outclasses because it doesn't try to be Skyrim. It simply uses the framework to tell its own story.
>here's your skill point bro
>Fixing gold becoming useless
Genius.
Why are you posting a bad mod for 13 year old betheslop that's not even an rpg? Why do yuropoors only play absolute garbage? I could see you praising something like this if the only games you played were witcher and gothic, but I can't imagine anyone that actually enjoys and plays rpgs would give this the time of day. I mean holy hell, why are you like this? Why can't you just play an rpg? All day it's spamming shitty games and trying to find ways to circumvent having to play actual rpgs instead of just leaving.
Yes I personally only play Trannies Gate 3.Now that's a real RPG.
we'll never know, in the same way we all wonder why you haven't killed yourself yet.
>tranime
>moronic muttmerican thinking anyone gives a damn about xis worthless opinion
i played like 6 hours of this when it was released and it was janky and moronic with oversaturated busy environments.
It helps to stay consistent anon.
I thought it fricking sucked. Could barely play 3 hours.
i never even bothered to play this after playing mehrim. i'm sure it isn't different enough to overcome skyrim burnout.
It is actually, it's a Skyrim that you can take seriously because it's pretty challenging, the RPG mechanics are better thought out, and every locations feels handcrafted which makes all the difference.
I'm kind of jelly that people today get to play it on the SSE engine because I played it back on the original and the performance kind of soured the experience a bit at times.
I hated it twice over the years, then everything finally clicked on the 3rd run and I loved it. As for other mods like it, none that I've seen. Maybe Vampire the Masquerade: War Games. It's got problems but it's an entire full game with a plotline and plenty of hubs and sidequests and some cameos for Bloodlines, I was shocked I'd never heard of it before. It lets you play a different story in VtM: Bloodlines where you're sired as a messenger to do some shit in WW2. Basically you only get turned into a vampire because your sire's enemies know his other childer exist and you can go in undercover.

The Prophet for Neverwinter Nights.

The forgotten city started as a mod, and later became it's own game, but it's fantastic. Not sure if it's better than what Skyrim modded brings, but I would say more memorable than Vanilla for sure.
Forgotten city was trash. The whole gimmick get's old after the first time it is used and it's the solution to almost any problem in the mod. It's for people that wanted to feel smart without actually having to think.
If its so good then why cant your threads about it make it to even 30 posts before you need to keep bumping it from 10th page.
Sorry, anon. But more than one person likes this game.
Why say such a blatant lie?
Why be such a blatant homosexual?
I'm rubber you're glue whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you.
>*Teleports inside you*
heh, now you're gay too.
Main story is utter, UTTER shit but I did like the side quests
The main story was good though
Playing it right now, Can't decide how I want to build my character. Story is pretty interesting so far but I wish I had a point where there's less urgency in the story so I could dick around.
There's a couple sections in the latter half.
How have you built your character so far?
Good to know. I'm going for the classic 1h + some school of magic. Went first for elementalism but it pretty much makes my 1h redundant because at this point lightning just kills everything. (Besides wisps frick they raped me)
Still feeling it out a bit.
Is this a storygay mod? I've got it ready to play but uh, did they improve the gameplay in any way? Cause I ain't playing it if it's just storyhomosexualry.
They improved it a decent bit, but it's still Skyrim at the end of the day.
The best part of the game is the exploration imo though
>but it's still Skyrim at the end of the day.
ehhh, think I'll play JA3 next instead. Thanks anyway guys.
They changed up the whole progression system, and remixed a lot of the mechanics. Healing increases a stat that kills you, and is hard to get rid of. You have a alchemy thing where you drink potions to get the werewolf thing. Gear is different, set bonuses are a big thing.
The main loop is around going into dungeons, and pummeling the inhabitants. You've still got your bows, magic, and swords that still largely work in the same way. You've got your summoning spells, fireballs, daggers for sneak attacking ect.
Magic is certainly better
Should have been a standalone game.
