Why is Cleaning not the recommended card for Belmont Sakuya? Do Crit DEF debuffs not stack with Crit ATK the same way Yin/Yang ATK and DEF do?
Crit buffs are maxed out at +10, or a x5 crit multiplier. Meaning +10 crit attack == -10 enemy crit defense == +5 crit attack and -5 enemy crit defense. Sakuya already gives herself +10 crit attack, so the further -3 enemy crit defense that the card gives is useless for her.
This is different from yin and yang buffs/debuffs. With these you can combine +10 attack with -10 defense.
That said, the card is still a decent support option. 1 turn duration isn't good, but -3 crit defense to All is unique.
Ok thanks for the clarification. If taking into account her LW alone then Cleaning is almost equivalent to Mysterious Sword Master but with slightly better stats. The Crit debuff to All could be useful but sadly the card is too specific.
I was wondering why Mysterious Sword Master is preferred over it. Being easier to farm while giving pretty much the same damage bonus gives it the edge overall.
MSM gives her +50% dmg, whereas Cleaning gives 45%. Mysterious Sword Master also gives +2 accuracy. Sakuya gives herself +2 accuracy (3T) but because she's a destruction character her later bullet lines drop to 65% hit, so +2 will only get her up to ~90% hit. +4 from MSM gets her above 100%.

Isn't the accuracy buff 10% of base accuracy? So she'd only get to 78% at +2 and only 91% at +4.
Frick, I figured out why I thought this. It's because Arena cuts your buffs, so I'd occasionally see something like Hecatia's all-target missing some bullets at full boost and assumed 3 levels of accuracy wasn't enough.

I wouldn't underestimate her post-Rebirth 2. Her LW got a stupid huge damage boost on top of having strangely good crit at base, so she just needs setup time. I know full Yin atk boosted Marisa is nearly one-shotting Star EX.

Accuracy buffs give 20% of base value. Sakuya also gets +1 from one of her LW bullet lines so +3 gives her 104% accuracy on her last bullet lines. MSM's accuracy increase isn't really needed so the damage difference is between their bonuses and stats.
I was certain you were wrong but I went and tested it myself and it seems like it's 20%. I swear I've seen 75% hits miss with two accuracy buffs and no enemy evasion, but whatever.

Ah shit, you're right. Completely missed that on line 2:

So scratch that bit about accuracy, I was wrong. Both Mysterious Sword Master and Cleaning will result in her LW having 100% hit. MSM has a +5% bullet power buff compared to Cleaning, but Cleaning has +27 more yang attack and +48 agility which her LW can take advantage of with the first two lines' 120% slice scaling.
And for fun I thought I'd post her end crit rates. She gives herself +10 crit accuracy, which increases crit rates by 3x, so her LW crit values, slayers aside, would be 15%/30%/75%/150%/150%/150%.
But she also has these two effects on the first three bullet lines:

>[Precise]Higher chance to CRIT with higher target's Agility
Unfortunately to my knowledge no one knows for sure how these work. So her end crit rates may be higher, or it could be that you cannot go over the 3x limit even with these effects.

Just noticed that she has a 1P All freeze break on her 1st spellcard. Pretty sure that's the best freeze break in the game. Her support isn't bad either. +5 total crit buff (crit attack +3 and crit def -2), yin attack +4 if you combine her skill with her solo spellcard, and that same spellcard has a -4 yin attack debuff @ 2P for some reason.

Only on Sakuya Belmont, otherwise 3 crit def down on all enemies is nothing to ignore. Main downside is that global doesn't have any Destruction characters that can lower crit def for multiple turns to extend the buff.

It does have PCB Myon. Her LW lowers enemy crit def for 3 turns. Of course it's not really ideal to use a LW for debuffing, but with that card it becomes -6 (3T), which is very impressive.
I checked the jp wiki and the only destruction character with a non-LW debuff is Ichirin. Her All spellcard debuffs enemy crit def by 2.

Farming Remilia EX is pointless when Water EX is active and offering a similar card for much cheaper setups.
I'm only farming one mlb copy, 3 crit DEF down could be useful in the future, for that extra edge in a 1-turn or with proper setup
Farming it is difficult now because we're missing some critical characters. I'll probably clear it and maybe farm a little bit, but there's no point in wasting spirit points when more efficient setups will be available on the rerun.

Yeah, her giving the team 4 anomalies is a bit rough. Unless they want them, of course. Bluemu + UFO Byakuren could be pretty funny. Both have all sun last words and Byakuren wants the burn.
Anyways, she's does a lot of damage but it's mainly because of all the buffs/debuffs she dishes out. In terms of full setup damage she's not even in top 5 iirc. Little junk, tiny remi, and bimbo reisen all beat her with a bunch of help.

That's a total of 132% dmg up in ideal conditions. Even if you remove the yin def effect due to full break you're left with 72% dmg up. But of course that's assuming 1. you're critting and 2. you're using energy bullets. It's also solo-target, obviously. It's balanced by its specificity, but if you can check all the boxes it's incredibly strong.

Crit debuffs are cleansed, but can be reapplied after breaking.

The "all enemies yin def -2" is pretty nice. Other two things are more of a bonus. But because the yin debuff only works on attack-type characters the number of friends that really benefit from it are quite limited.
Bluemu, Parsee, and UFO Byakuren are the only attack-type yin characters with sun or light in their last word. They'll benefit a lot from this card.
Characters like B3 Junko and Nue are also attack-type yin friends that would appreciate the yin def -2, but they don't benefit from the other effects. Whether or not this card is BiS on them depends on the overall buffing/debuffing situation.

That is another thing that this game does well. It's quite ridiculous, honestly. On the flip side the gacha became a bit unforgiving recently with a sparkless ultra-rare character, but considering the income you get most should be fine.
idk I never really pay attention to tutorials, myself. Easier to play and learn as you go. So long as you got the basics down you'll be fine. Difficult is trivial until you reach the first end-of-chapter boss.

As a Touhou fan, I figured I had to try this.
-Voices feel all wrong
-Euro has to pay >10% extra over us dollar
-5% chance for a character, the rest are just fricking passives
-billions of things to upgrade in a convoluted system with a gui that is generally awful (i.e. equipping passives to spell cards or deploying stuff)
-Limit Breaks seem integral and super powerful which I've seen backfire in enough games
-Music all over the place with no consistency, probably because they just got themselves tons of random remixes by different people
-Tried too much to get in "touhou" mechanics, which just made things more gimmicky than it needed to be
Shame. I've played a lot of neat touhou fan-games that managed far better. The nice thing was a lot of cute art. Which I suppose is why people are here for.

Elemental EX stages are the best sources for material farming and you occasionally get a good card to boot. Hell, the amount of money you get from them is not too bad either.
Now farming the other EX stages like the current Marisa EX is a whale flexing exercise since it requires a full power Blue Reimu to even think about farming effectively.
The frick you mean? Rings are the only thing worthy of spwnding dust for, you get one free rainbow doll per month and only idiots get Reimu Azul.

I can't find the will to tackle the EX stages, send help.
Worlds in Hand is one of the best cards in the game, and is farmable on a relatively easy stage. It's so absurd that you can basically stack a bunch of them in order to continuously buff crit attack to bruteforce whatever, if the damage 2hu hits killers or is Dest.
All you need for farming are 2-3 ST 2hus with some/most Fire on their LW, usually Hecatia, Shion, Saki, smug Sakuya, etc. Some AOE 2hus that also help are little Junko and mecha Marisa. I think little Remi is also used.
Each wave has different goals:
>wave 1
Nuke the side fairies as soon as possible because they oneshot the 2hus, then deal with Dai, all she does is hit like wet paper and fully heal herself. If you have two ST and one AOE LW, you can immediately nuke each of the three enemies with LW + LW + strong ST spellcard, then clear with AOE LW. This is basically a free wave spellcard wise as they refresh one spellcard each after dying, and the quicker you nuke the more grazes you save. Btw they receive extremely high damage from any ST attack, and around half damage from AOE, so this is easier than it sounds.
>wave 2
FB Cirno while grazing her attacks, the side fairies are not that problematic (but they can still kill 1* 2hus with small HP pools if they crit). Once Cirno reaches either 1 barrier or FB, you nuke her as strong as you can, and then have a side nuker go after any side fairy. Repeat this step two more times. This is relatively easy to do, for example Saki with self buffs over two waves deals on average 1.8M damage or something like that, so you need a bit of external help.
The main issues here are: reaching high enough damage numbers for the first gauge and having enough P for the main nuker in the last gauge. However, if you use 3 2hus instead of 2, you can easily get around this by using the third 2hu as buffer and side-nuker respectively. Also, by using 3 2hus instead of 2, you can 7, 6 or even 5t depending on how hard they can nuke, at the cost of increasing the sp cost.

Yeah, if you have two ST LWs pointing towards Dai and one side fairy, and one strong spellcard pointing towards the other side fairy. Then use the third 2hu's strong AOE LW.
Unless you mean "literally just nuke them turn one and move on to wave 2" then no, each fairy in wave 1 has gauges you need to deplete first. Min turning takes 5 turns due two gauges + three gauges, each wave.

I forgot about delicious emo Youmu. You're right, I've seen her ST spellcard deal enough damage to wipe Cirno, which means the side fairies are a joke. There are some teams with smug Cirno too but I don't know how those work, maybe by melting idk.

I'd add B!Youmu to that list. Her solo fire spellcard has fairy slayer and in my experience hits harder than Shion's LW. In 5T comps she's essential as she can quickly erase Dai's group with her LW after their bars are gone. It's also convenient relying on a spellcard because you don't have to worry about agility fights since everyone else will be LW spamming. PCB Yukari may be able to do something similar with her own solo fire fairy-slayer spellcard, but she wouldn't be as good and her accuracy is way worse (95% -> 75%)

Save up instead. On average it takes 1000 cubes to get bluemu, but if you want to bring your chances to 90% you need 2300 cubes, and 95% takes 3000 (https://gachaguide.com/gacha_calculator). With your current stash you'd have only a 37% chance of getting her.
Bluemu is very much for end-game players who have huge stashes of cubes laying around.

If you really want her it's probably better to wait for a rerun and save cubes/dust in the meantime. Most people rolling her now cannot come close to MLB, so she's stuck to farming events which is a bit of a waste.
Yeah, you don't need her at all. You already have some very powerful units. Besides, considering powercreep Bluemu will be eclipsed by the next EFES units, and eventually non-EFES units.

Best way to learn imo is to just try shit and when you have questions look them up and/or ask.
The most important thing to understand is how attacks and Power work. Every attack in this game has six bullet lines, with each line having its own element and unique effects. Notice the yellow/orange/red bars on the right in pic related. These tell you how much power you need to spend to use the respective bullet lines. With no power spent you'll only use the first line. With 1P spent you'll add line 2 to your attack. 2P will include lines 3 and 4, and max power will give you lines 5 and 6.
You can consider every bullet line to be its own separate attack when it comes to breaking barriers. If an enemy is weak to sun and you use this spellcard with a single bullet line, you'll break 1 barrier. But if you use 2P you now have access to lines 1-4. There are two sun element lines so you'll now be breaking 2 barriers. And with 3P you'll be hitting with 3 sun element lines so that'll be 3 breaks.
This all is why Power increasing story cards, like Midnight Tea, It's Spring!, and Witch of Scarlet Dreams and so good. Having access to multiple lines greatly increases your damage, your ability to break barriers, and enables you to take advantage of whatever added effects are attacked to those lines, such as anomaly breaks.
Understanding this system is the cornerstone of this game. Everything else is built on top of it.

Phantasma has said that he expects the game to be around "for a long time". I've listened to a number of their livestreams and I've not picked up on any indication of a looming EoS. They sound consistently upbeat and are implementing new features etc regularly. The game's monetization is actually quite good and is massive dolphin bait. Just a "little bit" of money promises to noticeably better your experience.
Idk, I think it's fine. Maybe in the future that will change but right now it's doing well enough for a niche title. It's also worth mentioning that the team is pretty small, so it's not like they're burning through a ton of cash on the regular.
I think they learned from Cannonball's mistakes on how to manage their money.

Cannonball's death was doubly pernicious too, as its dev team, Quatro A, was pushed to EoS by Aniplex so that it could work on a Kimetsu no Yaiba gacha's development instead, since late 2020 (a gacha which is not released and that most has been put on hold by now)

Your primary income of fortune dust comes from event special shops. You get 30 total in a normal event and 40 in a 3 week event. Depending on how many costumes you have it can take a lot of farming to get all of it. Farming @ 5sp instead of 8sp will save you a lot over time.

Entirely different things. End-game farm is typically for OP story cards. They're both important, but while your Bluemu is sitting around chilling you might as well put her to use and farm events. When you have the resources to MLB her do that and use her to clear out end-game content.
It is me, but despite being the current undisputed powerhouse, Blue Reimu's animations feel really cheap. One of them is OG Reimu's barrier, but AOE, another is a rather weird tornado throw, and her LW is just 2 already existing spells card animations playing out at once.
LW animations are not that special, but Blue Reimu doesn't feel distinct animation wise.
Yeah the animations for the highest rarity unit, which uses the face of the most popular girl of the franchise, are garbage.

Since the 4th FGO anniversary, these are the birthing grounds of game-changer limited supports that would emiliorate the hassle of farming quests (and sometimes give an edge into more challenging content), even with just one copy of them
Sure, friends/whales can lend theirs no problem, but if you add one of your own and combine it with the right roster setup, you can use almost everyone to farm whatever you like, wherever you like

She's somewhere between Bluemu and SFES. Can spark her at 1750 cubes, but her pull chance is the same so you'd have to be unlucky to actually get to that.

My main gripe is that almost all L1 units are now powercrept so you don't get too many chances to see them for clearing or farming challenge quests. They are at best just event tag alongs.
You don't need to bring the costume 2hus to each battle, the effects are on if you have the costume
