the Bulbapedia used to have this in the trivia section before it was removed: >Despite Sacred Fire's change to Physical damage, its animation in DPPt still resembles that of a Special Attack. >>This may be to take advantage of Ho-oh's higher Attack stat, as it is still its Signature move.

Its funny with Water Shuriken they made physical at first in Gen 6 and then changed to special Gen 7 probably just because Greninja uses special moves more often
Why does Togekiss learn it? Every other Pokemon that learns Tri Attack by level up is either >a design featuring three bodies or heads >a legendary/mythical with a gimmick about being able to switch types or attack types >porygon (pun on models being made out of "tris"; see the gen 1 animation) >in the lake trio
it should use the tri attack stat instead
it should use attack, special attack, and a secret third stat
>Sand Attack
>Isn't an attack
it is, it's just not a damage-dealing one
>sacred mystical special snowflake fire
>>>
the split was a mistake

What's it supposed to use, the Tri stat?
>able to learn Secret Sword - Thousand Waves
>unable to learn Secret Sword or Thousand Waves
Why does Togekiss learn it? Every other Pokemon that learns Tri Attack by level up is either

The points and three colors
Togepi is covered in triangles.
Most Pokémon that use this move are special attackers. Making it physical would render it as a shit move.
They did this purely to give Dodrio a usable signature move, pretty based
The real bullshit is that it's normal type. It should deal simultaneous fire, ice, and electric damage.
tri attack is my favorite move and id fricking hate them if they did this
it is a physical move in gens 1 and 2
>it is a physical move in gens 1 and 2
I hate this information.
>it is a physical move in gens 1 and 2
and 3
>tri attack
>there are only two attacking stats
>uses one
what the frick
>Tri Attack
>there's only 2 attack stats
STRANGE ISN'T IT
>is composed of Fire, Ice and Electric
>not special elements
>Sky Attack, Feint Attack, Fury Attack, Quick Attack
>not special elements
One of my favourite moves
