Riju is wife material but I don't use her ability all that much outside of battles but she does make a decent lantern in dark areas. Mineru's construct is ok for some fighting but I mostly use it to walk on gloom in the depths. Sidon is largely useless to me and gets in the way so I have him off most of the time, sorry bro.
I've heard about using Riju before for rock breaking, I'll have to put it to the test. Do you lose the arrows you use? I'm always running short on the damn things at the worst times.
My biggest gripe about Yunobo is that he attaches himself to vehicles and is more of an obstruction than anything and yes the way he sends gems flying all over the place is kind of tiresome.
you lose the arrows but there's so many arrows, i never found it a huge issue, i just use sledges and riju depending on how much i need to clear since i have lots of open weapon spots after getting the master sword
