It's actually trash though. The "custom content" sticks out like a sore thumb because it's not integrated into the game in a way that looks professional. It's all so amateurish, like some kids weekend modding hobby.
the best part is because they stuck with the vanilla client and didn't put the work into upgrading to the wrath client, their custom content is always going to be janky dogshit like that
A lot of the custom quests are just finding excuses to use placeholder stuff already around in Vanilla (Makasgar, Ironforge Airfield, etc.) and I found the Goblin starting zone to be pretty well integrated (High Elf one looks fine but is a bit too story-driven though)
The mid-30s dungeon Crescent Grove was implemented pretty well, no bugs. But some of the overworld custom zones are fricking atrocious like Echo Isles off of Ratchet. No idea how that passed even amateur quality control. Stonetalon has a new section that's just okay. Fits the theme but feels uninspired, quest npc dialogue is written like retail (unfortunately).
You can play through most of vanilla without encountering custom stuff other than high elf (cringe) and goblin (based) players running around.
