That wasn't really an option 20 years ago either, you'd have to go back 40-50 for the largest group of americans, and there was always a working class that had to have dual incomes or multiple families with single income in the same living space. Most people associate themselves with a higher class than they actually are (everyone thinks they are middle class, including those of upper class - but most americans imagine themselves to be higher than they are, upper class is relatively rare) and compare their current lifestyle their imagined class 20 years ago.

The real lesson to be learned from articles such as in the OP is not about women, but about sheltered children entering the real world, and occurs to both genders. It's a shock to realize that the world seen through advertising and marketing is a fantasy and that you will never be the astronaut or celebrity or president that they assured you was possible.

I was going to say something similar (and probably not as well). One of the bizarre things about having been a kid and a teenager in the 80s and 90s is now seeing so many young people who don't remember the 90s and can't tell them apart from the 60s or 70s. A single income nuclear family hasn't been a thing for many decades. Already in the 80s it was virtually unheard of, at least in my social class. I guess people are just basing it off The Simpsons and old TV shows like that, but those shows were written by (literal) boomers.

Humanity suffers from collective amnesia. Every generation repeats the same mistakes as the last.

It's why old fricks are so bitter. They watch each generation ignore the wisdom of the last and charge headlong into the same shit, over and over. The worst thing is that we're now getting diminishing returns because the nature of life is death. There is no true progress, only attempts to stave off inevitable decay.

The internet generation has access to everything, and with it, they have done nothing. It is time for existence to end.

The idea that women "fought" for the right to work is the silliest feminist myth.

The vast majority of women always worked. Always. The idea that humanity would have survived with half of it doing nothing but sitting still while pregnant is insane.
Not working was the privilege of rich women.
    Noblewomen basically.

But then something unusual happpened after WW2 in developed countries, the middle class became most of the population, while at the same time their salaries remained high.
The middle class was so well-off, middle class women got to enjoy a privilege usually reserved for the rich: not working.
Well it didn't last. Eventually wages dropped, and some women made the choice to work to maintain that middle class lifestyle. Which in turn causes wages to drop even further because there's now more people working...
Eventually it stopped being a choice and now women have to work or become poor. Or marry a rich men like they've always done in history.

needs were lower and thus when food, water, shelter were covered you didn't really have to do much else.

while covidhoax is widely overblown there's no mistaking that a decent chunk of people died from it, millions are going to leave with god know what kind of health complications due to the vax, hundreds of millions got their financial wellbeing destroyed or greatly reduced. you can dismiss it as a staged pretext to put the goyim in line but in that case none of the other shit matters as well if it's all the chosen people deciding everything, that's akin to dismissing all logic and reason and simply saying "it's all gods will". things don't just happen because a nepotic mafia decided them to happen, there need to be millions of people who work everyday to make things happen.

Women worked in the past. Women are working now.
The window of time in which women didn't work (and even then we're only talking about the better half of the middle class and up since the rest still had to work anyway), are but a select few decades.

This idea or view of history where women did not need to work and could just be housewives full time. Is just flat out wrong and historically inaccurate.
Try being a woman in the 1500s and think you don't have to tend the farm. Fricking lmao. Women have always been working. And capitalism would have never allowed to just continue letting half the population avoid work. And thus it's no longer reality.

      Anonymous

      >Women worked in the past
Not beyond this century. And mostly they started to work during the world wars because men were at the front. For the rest it was field work on farms and stuff you could do in your own house (tailoring and sorta) so you could do at the same as taking care of the kids.
Then they grant the vote rights to women so it was the best political move to grant them to work and spread feminism bullshit. This is how history went.

        >Not beyond this century.
