Skyrim at least is a fantasy game. Starfield is just space, dead planets, guns and loading screens. I don't see anybody saying this will be a hidden gem. It's just boring. Most people are waiting for elder scrolls 6 anyway.
cyberpunk always had the skeleton of an okay story and decent art direction/city design, fixing the horrible bugs and rebalancing the game makes it an okay game, not good but not a total trashfire.
No Mans Sky is not good but it got a lot of content updates and some people enjoy the kind of game it ended up becoming.
Starfield has nothing, it has no good story, no good characters,no good art direction, no good atmosphere, no good gameplay, no good exploration.
