says its a true story and than proceeds to add like 50 mins of generic action filler to it.
its like how cocaine bear said its a true story and the only thing that really happened was drugs were found on some dead guy not the hour and a half of a bear high on drugs slasher movie'ing though half of the cast

Yeah I was worried they'd do that and the trailer didn't exactly assuage that. Oh well. It's a genuinely interesting story about a simple but incredible game crossing cultural and economic boundaries and stirring up a whole bunch of goofy international trade shit in the twilight era of the cold war. There might still be some of that in the movie, but the car chase scene doesn't exactly inspire confidence they won't over dramatize the very straight forward history of it.
