In the pacifist route, Clover's soul is pure of all EXP, which is what Ceroba needed. Her willingness to kill increased because she wanted Clover dead to use his soul on Kanako.
In the justice route, Clover's soul is useless to Ceroba, so the only thing that is motivating her is revenge for killing Starlo.

I am pretty indecisive about my ideas but I hope what I am about to say is truly conclusive and I don't know if any of what I am about to say is even possible but after the release of Undertale Yellow I predict that there will be a boom in the creation of Undertale fangames, specifically about the other fallen children. The idea is to combine many of those fangames into one as I already told here while also creating a part of the content. I plan to get a team of 8 before starting to work on a 1&⅛ hour OST for the project or around ⅓ of the Orange chapter, the ⅓ of the chapter will be based as I said many times before on the Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Pic somewhat related and that's all for now, hopefully I can decide on that in 6 days or I might never fulfill my promises, sorry for the wall of text.

I don't think it'd be a choice. Clover would 100% fight Asgore after seeing the soul jars though. There's a lack of truly evil characters in the world of UTY but when push comes to shove Clover is absolutely willing to throw down against a bad guy.
Asgore's too pathetic and burnded by his duties to be truly evil, he just wants to help his people and free them from the underground.
Either they all eventually wither died underground or they have a shot at life at the surface, Asgore doesn't like it, but he feels like he has to do it.
I think, after interacting with the monsters enough, especially in pacifist, Clover would understand.

At best, Clover would keep his gun holstered but really hate Asgore.

I think Deltatraveler would be 500% better if it leaned into the absurdity, dropped the gaster shit and everything revolving around it, and the worst thing a player could do between worlds is be a dickhead. Like, you could still kill monsters in the Undertale World(s) and get LOVE or whatever the frick, but once it shifts to a different franchise, the deltarune characters should adapt to its rules instead of the other way around. To cite an example:

Meanwhile Undyne attained her determination power through her own pure will to save everyone, humans and monsters, even when you're not a complete monster she still has enough to last a couple of turns. Martlet just runs like a b***h twice out of fear then takes a jab she apparently stole from Alphys while reciting some nonsense about "humans are bad" that has no relevance in that scene she was in to begin with.
Not him but Ceroba hogs the spotlight too goddamn much and Axis was asking for it when he admitted to murking a human. Gonna be honest and think Martlet should've died in Snowdin during the genocide route because she fricks off and does nothing about your slaughter until she gets the booster vax, even though she's a part of the royal guard and could've and should've ratted you out to Undyne. I get that she sees the good in anyone, but gets to a point where she just seems like a class traitor. Sans has the flimsy excuse of being a lazy and depressed bag of bones with a promise to keep, but stopping humans is literally Martlet's job.
