what the frick is his deal?
Why does he act like things would've been better if I didn't genocide if he was going to kill me no matter what?
"Because of me the war continues" dude you kill children
I love how people act like killing 7 children is some sort of indefensible red line for the leader of a nation to cross to free their people. Your government (doesn't matter which) has killed WAY more than that for reasons that are baseless or at best nebulous.
Yeah but consider the following:
The children are human(like me), and presumably Clover's friends
The monsters are not.
Same thing in the real world.
If I were to pick between a single nail of a citizen of my country and the lives of thousands of foreigners I would pick the nail every time.
its only bad when the monstroyim do it you antisemitic bastard
Asgore gave the thumbs up for his own scientist to experiment on kids and the disabled in order to make super soldiers who's souls would persist after turning to dust.
Monsters really doesn't have a leg to stand on either when it comes to morality and since their the weaker group, they have to capitulate.
>Asgore gave the thumbs up for his own scientist to experiment on kids and the disabled in order to make super soldiers who's souls would persist after turning to dust.
What the frick are you talking about?
The Determination experiments done on fallen down monsters.
Asgore definitely OK'd them but I dont think he ever learned about the amalgamates. He just assumed they were unresponsive

I wonder what would've happened if Asgore managed to learn about the amalgams? He probably would've actually gotten seriously pissed off for once.

Anonymous
I think things would have ended roughly the same, just sooner. The amalgams would be sent home to their newly extended families and Alphys would get fired. Not for the tragic accident that was their creation, but for the gross negligence that was freaking out and keeping them hidden in a basement.
>Can bring dead monsters souls back to life >how could this be ever seen as making a group of super soldiers are you crazy?

The intent of the experiments was never to bring anyone back to life you illiterate speedreader. It was to make their souls last after their bodies turn to dust.
You know, like humans. Which is why she injected them with human juice.
Because then they would be able to start storing the souls of dead monsters and eventually use them to break the barrier even if no other humans show up.
no it was chujin that wanted super soldiers
asgore just wanted the secret of the soul to break the barrier without needing humans, but alphys was the one that tried to inject DT into dead monsters (probably using gaster's notes because she herself would never be able to do that)
Their totally insane and incapable of anything other than wandering around due to being a mash of multiple monster minds in a constant state of decomposition.
Also a rage maxing human like Clover or an adult could just wipe them out if they put enough force into it.
Yeah but consider the following:
The children are human(like me), and presumably Clover's friends
The monsters are not.
Same thing in the real world.

>Murdering children is actually good because [thinly-veiled misanthropy]
We all know that the elites are evil, but that doesn't make evil acceptable.
come on, everyone praised flowey despite she did worse atrocities.
>Loses his only child to humanity >b***h of a wife abandons you and an entire kingdom to live in self exile where the only other denizens are scared of her. >The only thing left to motivate you is the claim for revenge against the race that took everything from you. >Anon complains that you kill random human children who trespass into your house.
Toriel is more of a villain than Asgore is, and that’s a fact.
i will remind them
ceroba: >moronic, broken mess of a woman, she acknowledges the fact that she is a moronic, broken mess of a woman, at least shows some regret over her actions (the moronic rushed true pacifist ending that character assassinates the whole main cast gets ignored for being total dogshit) >gets at least some form of grief over her actions, at worst she, most likely canonically, gets bullet 2 the head >sucks her dead husband's dick from the grave way too much to the point it cost her her daughter (moron) >treats her designated cuck starlo like a friend instead of outright despising him, acknowledges he's the better person >death toll is her own daughter (who then got turned into goo by alphys) >can be fixed
t*riel: >smug, overbearing c**t who essentially tries to kidnap every single child that falls down into the underground, and when they try to leave lets them die >always in the right, smug as frick in every argument, nobody ever directly calls her out, only gets overthrown for sucking too much human dick in some neutral endings >actively tells children to kill others, specially asgore, when they leave her shithole >could have escorted any of the children through the underground, didn't because that would mean she'd have to do something useful instead of sitting around roleplaying as a shit mother in the ruins >shit queen that ran away from her people and has active disdain for them >shit wife that hates her husband for making one (1) mistake that she could have stopped at any point in time by just talking to him, >"DURRR JUST TAKE 1 SOUL THEN GO OUTSIDE AND ASK NICELY FOR 6 OTHER ONES/GO ON A KILLING SPREE" >even in other dimensions she's still a horrible smug c**t >fricks sans, and considering what rudy tells us about her, is also a total party prostitute >death toll is at least 5 of the children who fell down after asriel died >there's nothing to fix, she's aids down to the core
>could have escorted any of the children through the underground, didn't because that would mean she'd have to do something useful instead of sitting around roleplaying as a shit mother in the ruins
At any point she could have destroyed the door out or keep it locked. Instead, she waited until after 6 humans were already killed before that idea crosses her mind. So much for being the smart one if you purposefully let 6 people leave to their death, especialy knowing what dangers could lurk outside. What kind of person is Toby to see Toriel’s actions and say “yeah, she’s the rational one.”?
I mean even worse than that, she's mostly aware that monsters are goobers and tries to send the kids off attacking any monsters on the way to Asgore, and to kill Asgore.
Toby said that however you left Undertale is the canon ending so as long as you add anything to your version of the game post-Asriel that says "And then Clover used his soul juice to fix the dumb fox child and they became fast friends" it automatically becomes real.
Well it seems more like Toby was implying there would be some form of continuity regarding your save file from Undertale, but your save file itself would remain as it is.
He pretty explicitly said Deltarune is "A game you can play after completing Undertale, if you want", and the switch version of Undertale specifically ties into Deltarune
>It also heavily depends on whether or not Clover got resurrected.
I guess it all depends on if the body lives but is comatose after having a Soul taken or if you're dead dead.
Either way, Kanako is probably going home. Its just that shes stuck as a fricking creatura for the rest of time
So kinda like pic related but Be Strong For Chujin/Clover instead.
Still would hug her.
[...]
If Ceroba and the others are alive and too much time haven't passed then yes. It also heavily depends on whether or not Clover got resurrected.
The probelm of hugging this Kanako is that you would end up all goopy and dusty and that would probably hurt kanako
Imagine someone hugging you and your skin just melts/falls off
So clover actually has references to his home life
Examining the couch in the Fives hideout has him say that cramped living space is familiar to him
Examining the dishes says he has household chores waiting for him at home
I do wonder what his life was like before he came all this way to get killed.
i came up with an idea for a happy ending >clover gets to the end of pacifist (again) >flowey decides that he's not having this shit again >snags ceroba's mask before she can put it on >reveals his plan to clover about the souls >monologs about how he realized something, anything that can boost his power will help him beat asgore. no need to use clover. >as he's monologing clover's determination starts rising thanks to JUSTICE >clover enters battle with flowey. >"really clover? have you forgotten. you're not in control here." >load failed >... >load failed >flowey realizes what happened >claims that he'll still be able to defeat clover, he'll just beat clover enough to get rid of his determination boost >clover beats flowey >he has a moment to think as the others wake up >ceroba tells martlet and starlo about "the flower" while clover's lost in thought. >as they're arguing about what to do now he finally snaps out of it >* its time to save kanako >the other three are a bit shocked, ceroba tries telling clover that she's probably dead. >* we are going to save kanako >the others give in, martlet leads the way to the true lab. >alphys is out at the moment so its pretty easy for them to get in >they eventually find her on her lonesome, crying. >ceroba runs over and comforts kanako >after that clover stays with her while the three figure out how this can be reversed. >ceroba reverse engineers what alphys did and combines it with her serum. >altogether it should be able to purge kanako of the blue soul and give her back her form. >it works... almost. >her form is back but the blue soul is still influencing kanako, she is incredibly violent and enters battle with clover. >clover uses the shooting mode to purge the blue soul's influence bit by bit. >all said and done, kanako falls asleep but is otherwise completely safe and back to her old self. >the gang gets out of the true lab together, alphys is none the wiser >clover decides to live in the dunes with kanako and ceroba.
>Clover gets his happy ending in the underground >Lives for a few years with his new found-family of monster-friends with Asgores permission to live out his days there >Frisk shows up and starts a genocide >Justice vs determination happens
Who wins in a fight between the two of them?
It'd be a boss battle for sure, since Clover would have an actual gun with live ammo and Frisk is probably using ballet shoes or something. I'm pretty sure LV doesn't count for much when you're fighting another human.
But assuming Frisk still has unlimited tries, it's not really a competition.
they are both humans, so they both use physical attacks that cant be dodged like monster magic. >frisk lunges for an attack >clover quickdraws >frisk is laying on the ground bleeding out >this happens no matter how many times frisk reloads, eventually frisk gives up and resets back onto a pacifist run
If Frisk can save and load infinitely then its clOVER
its implied that a human's determination isnt set between reloads in base UT. the other souls reset against asgore until they lost the will to keep going and that was that.
sans is just a shitass that knows how to exploit game mechanics.

What an explanation, truely. I mean that's true and all. But what exactly sets in stone the "fact" that physical attacks are undodgeable? Monster's may just not be familiar with the concept of dodging. Or maybe most of them just don't care about it (their attitude doesn't change to that of someone in a serious fight during genocide after all) and the others rely on their defence instead of agility?

if you want to reread the post i said dodged LIKE monster magic, its possible to dodge just very hard so most monsters dont bother.. sans just has some meta knowledge so he's able to ignore the skill check.
you can side step a knife but a bullet? thats your demise.
cause that's a knife swing? You know many martials can easily disarm people with knifes. It's not that hard if you know to how to do it.
But a bullet? They travel at 2700 ft. per second or 3000Km per hour. Good fricking luck dodging that, cause luck is the only way you aren't getting your chest full of lead.
And sans is bastard that can literally teleport.

I just remembered. The wild revolver isn't even that dangerous in lore. The gunsmith himself has compared it to a pair of ballet shoes while talking about the lethality of his guns. If the gun would actually be as destructive as the real world counterpart is, anyone clover encounters would be dead in one-two shots, including the idiot mother and the pedo bird.
>Who wins in a fight between the two of them?
Heres the rub, if its two humans fighting then theyre just sort of brawling it out no magic or shit involved.
So we have one kid with a knife vs a kid with a gun and atleast a little training.
There's really only one way it can go, unless Angry Frisk gets the drop on Clover.
Frisk since they're literally (You) and only limited by your will.
Clover has a limited amount of tries compared to the player, who can try forever, so eventually you win.
>clover is able to gain LOVE through sheer anger in the face of a great injustice >frisk cant gain levels like that and has to kill for LOVE
its mostly a question of how long clover can stall in order to surpass frisk's determination.
Does Clover still have his power to look into minds? That seemed to be his final ability unlock other than JUSTICE BEAM.
If he gets a look into Frisks head and sees Chara and what he did to Asrial and family for shits and grins?
Oh hes gonna put a kid in the dirt that day.
Now that sounds like a really cool concept
I imagine that by that point Clover already has some LOVE since Frisk has killed way too many monsters for no aparent reason, but uppon seeing Chara's past Clover realizes that this opponent is pure evil and goes nuclear
id assume so >clover looks into frisk >see's awakened chara >poisoning asgore, laughing about it >manipulating asriel >trying to slaughter humans in mass >hedonistic enjoyment over the deaths of dozens of monsters
the pure hatred he'd feel in that moment would be enough to kill gods.
definitely breaking the LV 20 limit thats for sure.
also begs an important question: since clover can gain LV through justice anger, can he also lose levels gained like that if he's given time to calm down? >clover goes back to Ketsukane manor >looks like shit and can barely hold it together. >kanako catches on and helps clover calm down >before the night is over he's back at LV1, the two are asleep on the couch with a corny cowboy movie playing.
I choose to believe this is how it works. I can imagine a struggle of playing real shit sheriff underground is learning to carry that weight, and knowing when its okay to put it down.
He may not be a white hat with all the work he's doing but we dont want him going all Man With No Name on us
yeah, >clover is back at LV1 but that day still haunts him. its the first time he's had to take the life of another while in the underground >he cant get the scenario out of his head:
rushing at him with a dusty shoe
pulls out his gun >>next minute frisk is bleeding out on the ground. >it was a terrible sight. >he's wandering around, trying to take his mind off of it. >suddenly out of nowhere, kanako tackles him >"clover what did i say? stop being so down!" >she hugs him tight and presses her head into his chest... clover returns the hug, this is a good distraction. even if its only for a moment. i am very tempted to write a quick story on the justice V determination idea.

>he gets a look into Frisks head and sees Chara and what he did to Asrial and family for shits and grins >so incensed by these injustices that he uses DT to meddle with past events, Ghost Trick style >fricks up the timeline >deltarune
actually ya know this does somewhat make sense considering what we know >red soul at its height can tinker with resets at will (deleting flowey's memories) or destroying the world in its entirety (chara) >yellow soul can pre-emptively prevent an unjust tragedy by changing history
>Martlet volunteers to take credit for acquiring Clover's soul since she's part of the Royal Guard >Starlo and Ceroba agree that it makes the most convenient cover story to sell Asgore and the general public >Martlet gets hailed as a hero of the Underground >Forced to attend countless parades and television interviews about her experiences >Her Stepford smiling face gets plastered everywhere as promotional material for the Royal Guard >Recruitment rates skyrocket >"JUST ONE MORE" becomes their new rallying cry >Kids of all ages ask for her autograph and say they want to be just like her >New Home Elementary School gives her front row seats to a dramatization how they think she violently apprehended Clover and took his soul >They find the ugliest kid to play Clover
>reach the surface >finally she can drop the act >negotiations for settlement on the surface require monsters to turnover anyone who killed a child >executed for war crimes
>reach the surface >finally she can drop the act >negotiations for settlement on the surface require monsters to turnover anyone who killed a child >executed for war crimes
>For Martlet, it was a different kind of freedom
Does anyone have the "so this is the surface? It wasnt worth it" Martlet image?
It goes perfectly with this story
>reach the surface >finally she can drop the act >negotiations for settlement on the surface require monsters to turnover anyone who killed a child >executed for war crimes
I like the thought of Punished Martlet >Put on a pedestal, everyone loves her and thinks shes a vicious killer, the hero the underground needs! >Undyne thinks she finally has an equal, puts her in Snowdin as the first line of defense, certain she'll snatch up the next one just as easy >Martlet goes along with it, trains her ass off, becomes an effective fighter >Stays aloof from all the fans and other guards, they just think shes intense >Stays away from her friends Starlo and Cernoba too >Its because she made it her mission. The next child coming through is going to make it out even if she has to tear a path right through the underground to do it
>Martlet basically sets herself up for prime weird route mindbreaking >except its extremely easily to push her over the edge >like a single ACT calling out for help is enough to turn her to your side >she turns the fortifications and such she built against the monsters to make it easier to catch them >she's so methodical about it all that it can't even be considered accidental >even human is surprised at how cold and willing she was to turn on the rest of the underground >does this all while never dropping her happy hero big sister facade
>Martlet starts having frequent nightmares >Sometimes she dreams of Clover telling her that she should have shot him in the front instead of the back >Sometimes she dreams of what might have happened had she used the steroids >Sometimes she dreams of a visibly betrayed Clover deciding to kill every monster
They're too stupid to actually be a threat. He even spares Martlet when she gives up.
Everyone else is too stupid/stubborn to lay their weapons down and walk away. He probably would have left Axis be when they hit stalemate if it wasnt for him admitting to child murder
its the JUDGEMENT route.
he only attacks people who "attack" him first
since clover doesnt know that monsters greet each other through bullets, this means that even the flower patch girls are punished with death while the shufflers (who actively get out of combat with clover) and mo (who just wants to sell some items of questionable quality) are let go.
>monsters greet each other through bullets
Uhm, they're called Friendliness pellets, and Clover's just giving them some of his own in return. What sort of big scary monster would die after getting hit by a couple coffee beans?
you jest but that was just a majority of the fandom for a good while.
AUs made for the sole purpose of pushing up "my donut steel sans #19081"
so here's my opinion. undertale leaned just as heavily on tumblrcore as UTY leaned on furries, probably more so. the first half of the game isn't that bad, but undyne is a clear butch/dyke, and all of hotland is practically ruined by how obnoxious it gets with alphys. not to mention there's that awkward scene with the gay guards, and a LITERAL furaffinity inflation diaper OC in the game. not one that LOOKS like one, an ACTUAL one.
i think toby learned from that mistake because deltarune is much better in that regard. and UTY's character designs and writing are closer in style to deltarune than undertale.
yes, it's hard to deny ceroba is a furry shoehorn, but it's fricking inane to me how bent out of shape people get over it. like an anthro fox woman doesn't at all fit into undertale's world, hell even fantasy media as a whole. you legitimately believe it's more intrusive than some of the shit undertale pulled?
It's because she's so overwritten and gets so much screentime compared to everyone else, while not being an interesting enough character to justify it.
>you legitimately believe it's more intrusive than some of the shit undertale pulled?
UT's plots were set up throughout the entire game, the ketsukane plot is just dumped on you during the final section.
they should have martlet tag with you since the start of snowdin (if you didnt trigger genocide) and she could drop some lore bits about chujin and the ketsukanes along the way
How do you make the Martlet fight work in that scenario?
Maybe Martlet talks to you from afar and doesnt realize that you are a human until you reach her post?

I'm gonna say it:
Attractive designs are a better idea than the wacky ugly but loveable approach from UT. It's simply an easier way to make people be invested in your characters and have them acquire some fandom interest immediately even if their stories aren't good. Yes, Ceroba is a moron with a flimsy story but she's also a fox milf hence she's easily popular.
I think it gives more credit to Toby's writing that he could pull it off with ugly monsters if anything can be said, on top of the nice looking goats of his game not even having very good sprites.
ceroba's character is actually interesting too though, it's just that they botched the execution and instead of finishing her arc they just crapped out the true pacifist ending deleting any semblance of her character development and character assassinating the rest of the main cast
It really isn't. Before she goes around the twist, the most personality she has is gentle snark with the occasional temper flare-up. That's character writing on autopilot. Her brief interactions with her family were cringeworthy as well, just telenovela-type melodrama.
The Undertale Yellow characters were fine. I'm not a furry, so I didn't have any sexual attraction to them.
Most furry crap is hideous, but Undertale Yellow's characters are just cartoons.

people aren't thinking of how bad it could have been
"generic furry OC" looks something more like this
I doubt it, Ceroba appears to be the kind of mother who'd reject her almagate daughter even if everyone else in the underground accepted theirs almagate family
The only time i played this shit i killed everybody except the 2 skeletons because they were funny and at the end the tall one was the new king honestly i loved that. The game was boring af tho i don't get why r*ddit trannies are so obsessed with this game is not that good or deep
* I don't know why you had a figurine in that expired human male tap liquid in it, but i took the item inside it anyway.
* Starlo seemed quite upset from it's psychical condition, though.
Chujin has a tail, so kanako possibly has one. Only got good thing she inherited from that twink other than the extra neurons to compesate for Ceroba's genes.
>Not a single AU fan games has ever come out >The only fan games that have been finished are one that is completely separated from the original (OverTime) and one that is trying to be a prequel (Yellow)
Wow it's just like most AU's are fricking boring a shit Now the only one left to do is the sequel of undertaleHorrortale
TF2 undertale crossover, you play as Miss Pauling, you can either hire the mercenaries or kill them, it's the first ever full length completed undertale fangame and it was made by one guy in 2 years
>nerd is written consistently
He's the most well-rounded of the 3 main monsters but I don't know about that. He can't bring himself to raise a hand against a geno kid but gets so hopped up on cowboy juice he'll straight up murder a pacifist for fortune and glory
for their ages it's very impressive what they've created. i was pretty shocked to learn these guys are like early twenties right now, slightly older than me, and they were able to make all this. especially as someone going into the same field, it's both awe-inspiring and daunting.
i'm sure this will be a great stepping stone for the devs to move onto even better things. that's what these free projects are ultimately for. they're kinda amateur, they're not perfect, but they're great learning experiences and can still be really really good.
Nah, he stays as a cowboy no matter what. (Both pacifist and neutral.) Thing is, Starlo is too successful to quit his larping business anytime soon >is a tailor >has everyone in town dressed up >manages his ties with people performing in the Saloon like Mettaton >makes the laws of his town >has doctors, merchants, ect working while keeping a larping act up >does the taxes around town >also have fun doing his larps
The guy is a genuine business man despite being a playful motherfricker
Does Starlo quit being a cowboy at the end? We see him as a farmer again in the credits but not during the funeral?
His Dad also explains how his son saved the farm from the drought through the wild east's business. Starlo may as well be rich but prefers to live his life like a cowboy
Imo it fits the fight way more than it fits the character who's fighting. You think it'd end on 3 phases like a normal fricking boss fight but Ceroba is so fricking stubborn that she goes on a tard rage.
Its good characterization for a pretty meh character
She's doing it in Kanako's place. We know he used to be friends with Kanako before the Axis incident when he became a recluse, and we know he kept receiving corn on his doorstep right up until she got the jab. The lonely girl on the swing was also datamined and discovered to be kanako_friend
Alright homosexuals
I hate shitty endings. I do not want to play a story with a shitty ending. I will not do content with shitty endings, Does this game have a shitty ending? Which routes have shitty endings? Do I need to do a route with a shitty ending to unlock another route with a good ending? Because I'll do that.
Here's what I don't like in an ending
Purely negative with no hope for the future or positive through-line, I know there's no way this kid survives since his ass is dead as shit in undertale, But I don't care for excessively dark and grim shit, Like I don't wanna see him bleeding out on the floor for 10 minutes in real time before the game hard closes or some shit, I want to walk away from the game in an overall good mood
I also hate b***h characters that frick around and do stupid and horrible shit and get away with it while the narrative sucks them off, The way people talk about that bird worries me, Is that going to be a problem
Neutral is fun, genocide has the best ending, BEHEAD CEROBA. KILL CEROBA. ROUNDHOUSE CEROBA in pacifist for a good ending. (Neutral and Pacifist are separate instead of mandatory)
The fox is the one who fits that description, not the bird. The bird is ultimately harmless.
Neutral is not a proper "ending", it's basically just the "go back and do it again but different this time" ending. But the final boss is cool as hell and worth doing.
I guess the best fit ending for you would be simply to do Pacifist and then choose Fight during the final choice, you will know which one it is.
The bird does nothing wrong. You may be thinking of the fox.
thanks dudes, I think a lot of people post the bird while talking about the fox which got me confused. I will shoot the fox if she is a stupid b***h. peace!!!

gotta be honest guys
i killed chujin
i replaced his super special soul serum with blue gatorade and he never noticed
guess i killed kanako by accident too
oops
>I tried
Man you didn't "try" you fricking succeeded!
Good stuff man I look forward to your ever increasing drawing power.
Also >Using your gf's tail as a blanket
Peak
not gonna lie, i thought the deltarune yellow shit people were ideating about in here was kind of lame, but you sold me here. this might be cool to see as a one-off thing, these two being childhood friends is pretty cute.
If the Chujin picture was fully in frame you just know it'd have a look of sheer rage
would chujin actually be racist if the monster war never happened? it's basically the entire reason he is racist, so would that change or would it be like a sort of destined thing, like how toriel and asgore still divorce
All of Chujin's misery was because the human-monster war motivated him to become something he wasn't. All evidence suggests he was a gifted carpenter, a so-so engineer, and a terrible geneticist/monster biologist. He'd have been much happier sticking with the first skill set, but you can't save monsterkind by building cabinets, so instead he ruined his career and his life on Axis and the Silly Serum.
I imagine deltarune chujin hates humans because he sees them as brutes, blue attacked kanako when they were kids and his store is probably losing business against a human owned store
>Clover using Kanako's gorgeous fluffy tail as a blanket
God, I wish that was me. I really love how you draw Kanako, she's so precious! Like, she's at mare levels of adoracute, her mother too.
You see a bottomless treasure panda shotput a cup of joe into the snow and then turns around and tries to sell you anti-thermodynamic fudgsicles.
Dude deserves a couple bucks just for the sheer audacity of it all.
I like to think this versio of Ceroba wasn´t an absolute moron. And that Kanako just died to the other human that Axis neutralized. That would justify her actions a lot more imo.
The person who wears it. I'm not calling it a wifebeater unless it's being worn by a sweaty middle-aged balding alcoholic man

As far as I care Martlet would call it a wifebeater but say it really fast and not understand what the name actually says or means >"Martlet wtf are you wearing" >"Oh just my wif-ee-better!"

100% agreed, I would love to see whatever you cook up, anon Speaking of, I feel I'm nearly done with the true lab chapter proper. I'm just debating whether or not to cut a section I've written that I'm feeling doesn't really need to be there, then it'll need some proofing
Just spitballing for now but it goes something like this >Ceroba convinces Clover et al to go to the True Lab to find Kanako >The find her mutated and crazy >blank verse, but it ends very badly >Ceroba's left in utter despair >Clover decides to go back to New Home and surrender to Asgore >Clover has a brief heart-to-heart with Asgore before willingly giving up their soul
Yeah I'm handcuffing myself to the official Pacifist endings kind of, but I've already accepted the idea there's no way this kid is getting a happy ending. Prequels and all.
>Ceroba still doesn't get closure >Instead of sticking around to help her heal he just goes lmao bye >Still pretty much kills himself
You might need to buff this out a tad, I honestly cant see a well written ending where Clover ends up sacrificing himself, at least not as soon as he does in game.
Even if you close up Ceroba's story any ending where he doesn't sacrifice himself for Kanako, or not sacrifice himself at all is kinda strange.
The whole idea the kid goes through all that shit just to go "alright go ahead and kill me now" to Asgore is kinda odd.
At least in Flawed Pacifist he "fights" Asgore.

Like I said, just spitballing. Honestly the more I think of getting a satisfying ending for Ceroba's story, the less I think of the story altogether.
Also it's been almost ten years since I've done any amount of writehomosexualry that wasn't smut. I'm too old and feeble to play tardwrangler for some zoomer's sparkledog.

can someone explain the appeal of underfell to me?
is it just >what if the characters you know and love... >were DARK and EDGY and EMO
is there some value to it besides goth ceroba?
Anonymous
So fans speculate that Undertale is like Tobyfox took a basic fantasy story and turned it into what the fandom would have crafted. Underfell is kind of a reversion of turning them back into the evil monsters you'd usually expect from an RPG, before the fandom got a hold of them and turned them into cute doofuses. But that doesn't necessarily mean Underfell is well-executed.

Its just an alternate take on characters/a setting, kinda just slop to consume, I think its kinda cool to see how people reckon the characters would react in a more aggressive underground, but thats about it. And Martlet, almost forgot Martlet.
>Tobyfox took a basic fantasy story and turned it into what the fandom would have crafted
ah, i remember that hearing that kind of conjecture when undertale came out. makes sense someone would try that kind of reversal. >not well executed >slop to consume
figures it doesn't have much merit beyond the hypothetical, thanks anons.

>thanks anons.
No problem man
But yeah no, AU's that just go "well what if everyone was SCARY EDGY PEOPLE!" are kinda ass, I prefer ones that just change shit in the story, but keep the characters the same. Theres a good few fics on the "What if Asriel resurrected Clover at the end of UT?" among a couple of others, which I mostly enjoyed.

>Clover gets pardoned and lives in the underground until their natural death >is under heavy watch by the Royal Guard and eventually a young Undyne is assigned to “Human Watching Duty”. >Undyne starts out with typical monster anti-human racism even after a few monsters vouch for Clover’s character >after a wacky adventure chasing some bandits, Undyne gets overheated and collapses >Clover hands her a canteen of water despite her harsh treatment of them >Undyne is confused by Clover’s actions >Clover explains about the difference between JUSTICE and JUDGEMENT, and how they had to forgive monsters attacking them when they first arrived to the Underground to learn that difference. >Undyne begins respecting Clover and adopting their philosophy of JUSTICE
IMO it wouldve made more story sense if Kanako injected herself?
It would still give Ceroba an in character reason to hate humanity and "save monsterkind" , both of her kin died trying to free the underground, so naturally she would fight to the death to make sure her ideals were realized, right? To make sure "justice" is served?
Yes, that is what I was assuming when I saw her sitting outside the room with her parents, and the first half of the cutscene where it was just her watching the tapes.
Whoever wrote this schwarbage really dropped the ball
That makes more sense and it feels like having Ceroba inject her daughter was a really roundabout way of making sure she was directly responsible for Kanakos goopening.
But if you ask me, continuing Chujins research and having it cause disastrous consequences is more than enough to feel guilty without actually injecting the needle into Kanako.
It would still be Cerobas fault and she wouldn't be an incredibly dumb character is what I'm saying
My guess is they made Ceroba inject her to give the player a reason to put her down, since her grievance is totally understandable otherwise, but there had to have been a better way than this. That ending's writing was already falling apart real fast and the Funny Injection pushed it all the way into farce.
That is what annoys me. The fricking aborted pacifist ending is stupid and shouldnt exist. Like i know its there to give you a cute little choice at the end but it makes no fricking sense at all and it only exists because "well Asgore had it and you could abort pacifist through that lololol" but that only worked in UT because the players need to see funny shit happen was baked into the game and Kris wasnt a real character. Clover is their own distinct entity and it makes no sense for Pacifist Clover to kill any monster at all, especially at the end.

Rich b***h that doesn’t believe she should change because she’s “being true to herself”. Gets sucked into a dark world, fights a few darkners but gets bodied by an encounter that requires Acting to defeat. Gets slowly humbled over the course of the game in a pacifist route, potential weird route target otherwise.
>Ceroba is working on a word search >She's clearly struggling and having so much trouble she's on the verge of tears >you look over her shoulder >The only word in the word bank is "sand", and the word search itself is just the letters S-A-N-D printed vertically >you give Ceroba a look of extreme bewilderment she howls with anguish
>Chujin left me this codex so that I could carry his hopes and dreams for monsterkind! >(he really gave it to her so he could work in peace and quiet for a few hours)
She's still trying to figure out how Kanako's baby toys work.
How does the Lego stick together? Why can't she get the rectangle through the circle hole?
No because there are no mirrors in the Ketsukane home anymore. Every time Ceroba saw her reflection in one, she'd break it and scream to Chujin that she saw a weird dog in their house
Imagine being Martlet and never having a fricking clue whats going on, being basically written out of the story as soon as Ceroba enters the picture, and your character growth being locked behind the fricking genocide route lol.
Its crazy how Bland Martlet actually is when she has no excuse to exact justice onto you.
>while that old maid Ceroba goes childless
too late for that homosexual
i've already given her 10 more children and whenever she's around them she wears the tard leash so there's no risk of her vaxxing them, i also cured kanako via soul duplication and turned her into my daughter wife
Our families will become bitter rivals until my third son falls for your 7th daughter in a tragic love story that ends in their mutual deaths, uniting us in our grief
>being basically written out of the story as soon as Ceroba enters the picture
Yeah. Kinda gay that they just threw her away pretty much. It woulda made sense if they had her as an area boss/character in Snowdin only, but the fact they had her tag along, just to toss her aside is awful.
ESPECIALLY since they work her up in Genocide and Neutral (not as much but hey, she's the shock value death.) It makes it feel like two of the writers were fighting over whos OC would get the spotlight.
If Ceroba had been a tanuki it would have been less obvious she was babby's first OC and it would have been easier to forgive her for being legally moronic. They still could've kept their shitty foreshadowing to tell you she was tricking Clover and kept all the Japanese shit in their cowboy game.
ceroba and her moron family dont even look close to sparkledogs though, ceroba herself even looks like a cc2 kemono ripoff, this whole tangent is fricking braindead
Wasnt saying Ceroba is a sparkledog. She’s instead what happens when you have your teenage furry phase and weeb phase at the same time. You read about Kitsunes and then Tamamo no Mae gets you in her clutches and thats just it.

I downloaded UNDERTALE Yellow, not Touhou. Can you make it so your PACIFIST boss fights are fun and not gimmicky with bullet patterns that would match a kid's Sans AU fight fangame. I downloaded to have fun, not to rage because the game genuinely puts me in situations where I feel heal spamming is the way to win these fights. Patch soon please, because I shouldn't be taking so much damage with the maxed out armor, and put in bullet patterns where I'm actually able to dodge, instead of filling the screen with garbage (I'm looking at your dumb foxgirl OC's fight entirely. Axis' blue/orange attack. Starlo's slow SOUL dodge gun beams attack that literally was impossible, and the rhythm game boss' controls)
Reminder that this is the PACIFIST route, save your hardcore danmaku spam for Genocide please. You guys have been working on this for 7 years, maybe playtest your bosses more??? Not everyone is a bullet hell god.
You have never touched a touhou game before if you think Pacifist Ceroba has difficult patterns
You wanna see what a "Sans AU Fight Fangame" looks like?
God I unironically hope that Toby decides to make the difficulty scale, and that by the last 3 or so chapters we actually start seeing people get filtered
>watch fight >see overdesigned bullshit fight
this looks like a pain in the ass to play and a pain in the ass to program. i understand why someone would go overboard on throwing shit into a fight to make it look EP1C, but who would be autistic enough to waste time playing this sh- >chinese text in the text box
that explains it.
yeah he sneaks up behind you and starts an unskippable 10 minute long cutscene where he shames you for mixing the music and tells you about copyright laws
While it was cool of Clover to will himself in extra LV against the robot, it just seems like a way for the devs to get him up to 19 quickly since they didn't know what the frick else to do for the route
By that point in the game Clover is mindlessly killing Robots and gets a bit lost in the vengeance sauce, even Flowey calls it pointless. Fighting Axis and having confirmation that the humans are dead and that Axis killed one sort of wakes him up a bit. You can notice as your LV increases the player control over Clovers actions really decreases which is a nice touch i think.
It is definitely a decision made after the fact, i can give you that
How serious and how long were you thinking? I always want to see more light-hearted stuff of Kanako and Clover, maybe of them living on the surface after the barrier is broken with Ceroba
>How serious and how long were you thinking
Seriousness, mild. Not super angsty, not all jokes. I cant write super serious all that well so if anything does happen it would have to happen pretty fast.
Lengthwise, I'm not sure. I get pretty invested when I write so Im gonna say for as long as my UTY obsession goes for, so probably 2-3 months? Not sure. Something longer then a short but not novel length >I always want to see more light-hearted stuff of Kanako and Clover
Fair, I'd imagine Kanako would pop up somewhere since shes a rather important character story-wise >living on the surface after the barrier is broken with Ceroba
Im more of a Martlet guy, but I could probably write Ceroba. I'll have to give the game another run-through anyway just to really nail down how they talk and whatnot.
Interesting perspective to have. Nice little piece, anon, you did well at characterising her with showing her rationalisations and stuff

The main true lab chapter is done. Clocks in at 12400 words.
I am very nervous about this one. I hope it meets people's expectations. I spent a lot of time rearranging and rewriting many parts of it, because it was real hard to make it feel the right length and the right tone, hit on the themes I felt each character needed, trying to figure how each character should react to things, etc.
I hope it's paid off and I appreciate anyone who deigns to drop a (You) to tell me what they think.
Prior parts are here for any who haven't seen >part 0 - https://pastebin.com/waHec0GS >part 1 - https://pastebin.com/8XVyM5rH >part 2 - https://pastebin.com/1St729J8 >part 3 - https://pastebin.com/aTDMZadi >part 4 - https://pastebin.com/Ps2HC3Nj >part 5 - https://pastebin.com/rWAuuJ6H
I'll also put this new part up on AO3 shortly, the story is called 'Cover Up The Footprints' there
That was excellent. Thank you for writing the thing, An honest good read.
Thank you, anons
Should definitely add one of the Kanoko pictures to the ao3 upload
Which one are you thinking off the cuff? I've never put a picture on AO3,I don't even know if they have stricter rules about that shit than here
Extremely, extremely good. Looking forward to finding out the deeper implications of what Clover did.
If I had pick at something, it's that I feel Ceroba's conversation with Chujin is too long -- I'm guessing that's the section you were thinking about trimming -- and I feel Ceroba is too relentlessly brutal toward Alphys. It definitely makes sense seeing how much of herself Ceroba sees in her, but given Ceroba's conversation with Chujin, she should recognize that her demands would mostly just worsen Alphys's despair; and so I feel she should put greater emphasis on that Alphys CAN indeed fix it.
The latter is what picks at me most. When I read the ending, I feel like it would be improved by reaffirming that. Something like...: > Before she stepped out of the door for the last time, she turned and looked back to Alphys, still standing exactly where she’d left her. Her eyes were downcast and unseeing -- clouded. Ceroba knew by what: the responsibility she had placed on Alphys's shoulders... and a complete hopelessness in her ability to carry it out. Ceroba let her gaze soften. > “Don’t forget what I said, Doctor Alphys. You can do it.” > She strode out over the threshold, and the lab door whooshed shut behind her.
Feels a bit shameless to replace your writing with my own, but this is just to give you the gist of what I'm getting D0SAat.
Your input's honestly appreciated anon. I really couldn't figure how much softer Ceroba should be on Alphys towards the end, just couldn't get a bead on it no matter how many times I looked at it. I'll take your idea on board and probably write something similar if you don't mind, it honestly looks real good to me >I'm guessing that's the section you were thinking about trimming
Actually no, the bit I ended up trimming was a long confrontation where Mettaton comes to back Alphys up as they're leaving the lab. I liked some of the lines I had written for him but in the end I just felt like he was making the situation too complicated by being there.
The Chujin conversation probably was a bit long in hindsight, ye. You're right it was another part I really struggled with; I had a tough time not presenting any new facts and making everything he said something she could have plausibly thought on her own while also both keeping it concise and making sure she was guided to the conclusion she needed to be. Maybe I could have fixed it with her reminiscing on some of the lines I needed him to say in the earlier chapters or something. Not sure exactly
In any case I greatly appreciate your critique, god bless
> I'll take your idea on board and probably write something similar if you don't mind, it honestly looks real good to me
No worries. Use as much or as little of it as you want. > Not sure exactly
Neither am I. It's a critical conversation, and delivers a lot of important points, so any cuts have to be done with care. Perhaps shaking up the format a bit like you're suggesting is the trick, cause I do feel the issue is mainly that it's a very long dialog -- but I can't be sure. > In any case I greatly appreciate your critique, god bless
You are very much welcome, and god bless you for pouring your efforts into writing such an amazing fic It's more I can do. I wish I got off my ass and committed to writing out the character-centric vignette I've been sketching out for like 3 years now... which has not helped by me being distracted by other writing ideas.
tweaked this a bit, made the lines colored instead of black so her clothes don't stick out as badly.
suck my wiener jannies
captures everything in the scene pretty well. And Ao3 doesn't really care what image you put in there aslong as it's not gore last, was pretty easy last time I did it just search it up.
Extremely, extremely good. Looking forward to finding out the deeper implications of what Clover did.

>The only way she survives the Neutral ending is by singing something so terrible to hear Clover just dies >The occasional voice cracks are just her squawking
ok I finished the true pacifist route and I don't get the ceroba memes, I felt most things were justified to a decent enough degree >used kanako for the experiment
kanako was the one who asked her to do that, and she probably didn't have enough knowledge on the science stuff to foresee that would happen. she regrets it and acknowledged it as a mistake in-game. same for wanting to use clover's soul to save kanako >'kills clover'
clover is the one who decides to give up their soul to aid monster kind, no one is ok with it, but they won't force em to do anything. but yeah, this is a very troubling decision to have clover make anyways, it's basically saying "oh cool, you're one dead kid away from freedom now, awesome"
so yeah, I don't get it. did I oversee something? am I stupid?
>No, Ceroba. Do not inject Kanako. Do not bring her into this at all. >Injects her anyways >Deals with grief of (incidentally) killing her own child >Second child goes "alright I wanna kill myself" >Shes all good with it
The issue isnt that she physically kills them, but that she has the power to stop them, and doesn't. Just lets two kids die pretty much. >kanako was the one who asked her to do that
Imagine if it came out that the Fauci vax was getting tested on kids that went "yeah sure go ahead and inject me with god knows what this is", just cause a kid goes "yeah its alright" doesnt mean that you can listen to them.
>kanako
I'm not saying it was right, but I find it understandable that she would think it wouldn't backfire, if the research indicated that the method worked, as kanako reads from the discarded note. her not listening to chujin's very specific request was kinda weird, but that's part of the mistake as a whole, I think >clover
feel like that was too different a scenario to make the parallel. kid was already with their soul out and everything, and allowing them the choice is a sort of respect to clover, especially when the alternative is to stay on the run in the underground with asgore looking for clover.
but yeah, I kinda get it now, it seems really bad when all of this happens so quickly in the story. thanks for the explanation.
>if the research indicated that the method worked, as kanako reads from the discarded note
see the thing is that it was DISCARDED
if it worked, it wouldnt have been discarded.
pretty sure it was implied that it was discarded because she wasn't interested in the method, and ceroba would've likely known if it was wring, since she threw it away.
... actually, that'd have been a great excuse to not do the experiment with kanako, saying that it was a wrong conclusion.
Human experimentation, or in this case, monster experimentation in the name of science isn't okay just because the subject says it's okay. Especially when it's a child saying so. I really really hope you understand this.
I do? my point is that I find ceroba's mistake believable with the nuance the story has, and I find her story tragic, rather than... I dunno, infuriating? confusing? I do not think that she did *nothing* wrong, although when I inevitably do fanart of her I'll likely post that exact sentence because it's funny.
Human experimentation, or in this case, monster experimentation in the name of science isn't okay just because the subject says it's okay. Especially when it's a child saying so. I really really hope you understand this.
>kanako was the one who asked her to do that
Kanako is a dumb fricking child and this is way beyond what a kid can fathom in regards to what they're volunteering for. Would you be okay with someone letting their son replace one of those monkeys they shot into space because the brat insisted he "really, really wanted to be astronaut and help everyone out?
no, she's literally in hell
also she's stuck with Alphys which might be arguably worse
That Lisa Simpson Lizard got away with everything and even got a tomboy gf without even trying
hopefully she died
Asriel fixed her and resurrected the fallen children
I've finally defeated the bird b***h
Turns out Flowey was in it all for himself but I already knew that
Overall it was a frustrating but fun genocide
what the frick is his deal?
Why does he act like things would've been better if I didn't genocide if he was going to kill me no matter what?
"Because of me the war continues" dude you kill children
lol get fricked
Asgore?

Have fun getting reset and continuing the meaningless cycle of violence bozo.
I think he meant that not matter how much you killed and leveled up he would still be too strong for you.
I wonder how Asgore would get BTFO by the other fallen children if they did a genocide run
I love how people act like killing 7 children is some sort of indefensible red line for the leader of a nation to cross to free their people. Your government (doesn't matter which) has killed WAY more than that for reasons that are baseless or at best nebulous.
Nobody cares about human on human violence
I think things would have ended roughly the same, just sooner. The amalgams would be sent home to their newly extended families and Alphys would get fired. Not for the tragic accident that was their creation, but for the gross negligence that was freaking out and keeping them hidden in a basement.
>super soldiers
What? Are you moronic? Why would he expect super soldiers out of CORPSES?
>Can bring dead monsters souls back to life
>how could this be ever seen as making a group of super soldiers are you crazy?
The intent of the experiments was never to bring anyone back to life you illiterate speedreader. It was to make their souls last after their bodies turn to dust.
You know, like humans. Which is why she injected them with human juice.
Because then they would be able to start storing the souls of dead monsters and eventually use them to break the barrier even if no other humans show up.
no it was chujin that wanted super soldiers
asgore just wanted the secret of the soul to break the barrier without needing humans, but alphys was the one that tried to inject DT into dead monsters (probably using gaster's notes because she herself would never be able to do that)
Now that I think about it
How effective would an army of amalgams be? They are literally immortal as far as we know
they're kinda braindead though so probably not too effective, and they still need to eat
Very ineffective. They are civilians, often with conflicting desires, and are easily placated once you understand them.
Their totally insane and incapable of anything other than wandering around due to being a mash of multiple monster minds in a constant state of decomposition.
Also a rage maxing human like Clover or an adult could just wipe them out if they put enough force into it.
>people that never actually played the game talking like they did
>Murdering children is actually good because [thinly-veiled misanthropy]
We all know that the elites are evil, but that doesn't make evil acceptable.
come on, everyone praised flowey despite she did worse atrocities.
Anon, you're gay. I'm sorry you had to find out this way
cry about it
>Loses his only child to humanity
>b***h of a wife abandons you and an entire kingdom to live in self exile where the only other denizens are scared of her.
>The only thing left to motivate you is the claim for revenge against the race that took everything from you.
>Anon complains that you kill random human children who trespass into your house.
Toriel is more of a villain than Asgore is, and that’s a fact.
i will remind them
ceroba:
>moronic, broken mess of a woman, she acknowledges the fact that she is a moronic, broken mess of a woman, at least shows some regret over her actions (the moronic rushed true pacifist ending that character assassinates the whole main cast gets ignored for being total dogshit)
>gets at least some form of grief over her actions, at worst she, most likely canonically, gets bullet 2 the head
>sucks her dead husband's dick from the grave way too much to the point it cost her her daughter (moron)
>treats her designated cuck starlo like a friend instead of outright despising him, acknowledges he's the better person
>death toll is her own daughter (who then got turned into goo by alphys)
>can be fixed
t*riel:
>smug, overbearing c**t who essentially tries to kidnap every single child that falls down into the underground, and when they try to leave lets them die
>always in the right, smug as frick in every argument, nobody ever directly calls her out, only gets overthrown for sucking too much human dick in some neutral endings
>actively tells children to kill others, specially asgore, when they leave her shithole
>could have escorted any of the children through the underground, didn't because that would mean she'd have to do something useful instead of sitting around roleplaying as a shit mother in the ruins
>shit queen that ran away from her people and has active disdain for them
>shit wife that hates her husband for making one (1) mistake that she could have stopped at any point in time by just talking to him,
>"DURRR JUST TAKE 1 SOUL THEN GO OUTSIDE AND ASK NICELY FOR 6 OTHER ONES/GO ON A KILLING SPREE"
>even in other dimensions she's still a horrible smug c**t
>fricks sans, and considering what rudy tells us about her, is also a total party prostitute
>death toll is at least 5 of the children who fell down after asriel died
>there's nothing to fix, she's aids down to the core
>could have escorted any of the children through the underground, didn't because that would mean she'd have to do something useful instead of sitting around roleplaying as a shit mother in the ruins
All this moron had to do was absorb even ONE human souL.
frick off toriel
Toby said that however you left Undertale is the canon ending so as long as you add anything to your version of the game post-Asriel that says "And then Clover used his soul juice to fix the dumb fox child and they became fast friends" it automatically becomes real.
Well it seems more like Toby was implying there would be some form of continuity regarding your save file from Undertale, but your save file itself would remain as it is.
He pretty explicitly said Deltarune is "A game you can play after completing Undertale, if you want", and the switch version of Undertale specifically ties into Deltarune
tweaked this a bit, made the lines colored instead of black so her clothes don't stick out as badly.
suck my wiener jannies
wow anon, my first reaction upon seeing this image was to whack it with a long stick, then maybe regret it in hindsight. well done.
Still would hug her.
If Ceroba and the others are alive and too much time haven't passed then yes. It also heavily depends on whether or not Clover got resurrected.
Well done.
I get the impression most kids that fall into Mt. Ebott aren't happy at home.
Orphanage is how it read to me.
His family is poor and he had to wash the dishes.
>YOU KILLED DOZENS
>WE ONLY TOOK FIVE
Yeah birdley thats not a nice way to spin it at all.
This might actually be what caused Clover to reach LV 20.
will joel play this?
maybe
tomorrow
means the surface
i came up with an idea for a happy ending
>clover gets to the end of pacifist (again)
>flowey decides that he's not having this shit again
>snags ceroba's mask before she can put it on
>reveals his plan to clover about the souls
>monologs about how he realized something, anything that can boost his power will help him beat asgore. no need to use clover.
>as he's monologing clover's determination starts rising thanks to JUSTICE
>clover enters battle with flowey.
>"really clover? have you forgotten. you're not in control here."
>load failed
>...
>load failed
>flowey realizes what happened
>claims that he'll still be able to defeat clover, he'll just beat clover enough to get rid of his determination boost
>clover beats flowey
>he has a moment to think as the others wake up
>ceroba tells martlet and starlo about "the flower" while clover's lost in thought.
>as they're arguing about what to do now he finally snaps out of it
>* its time to save kanako
>the other three are a bit shocked, ceroba tries telling clover that she's probably dead.
>* we are going to save kanako
>the others give in, martlet leads the way to the true lab.
>alphys is out at the moment so its pretty easy for them to get in
>they eventually find her on her lonesome, crying.
>ceroba runs over and comforts kanako
>after that clover stays with her while the three figure out how this can be reversed.
>ceroba reverse engineers what alphys did and combines it with her serum.
>altogether it should be able to purge kanako of the blue soul and give her back her form.
>it works... almost.
>her form is back but the blue soul is still influencing kanako, she is incredibly violent and enters battle with clover.
>clover uses the shooting mode to purge the blue soul's influence bit by bit.
>all said and done, kanako falls asleep but is otherwise completely safe and back to her old self.
>the gang gets out of the true lab together, alphys is none the wiser
>clover decides to live in the dunes with kanako and ceroba.
good effort anon, but everything happens too fast.
And I'm to have to say this but
>we are going to save kanako
it just sounds like
>we are taking turkey off the menu
>Clover gets his happy ending in the underground
>Lives for a few years with his new found-family of monster-friends with Asgores permission to live out his days there
>Frisk shows up and starts a genocide
>Justice vs determination happens
Who wins in a fight between the two of them?
If Frisk can save and load infinitely then its clOVER
It'd be a boss battle for sure, since Clover would have an actual gun with live ammo and Frisk is probably using ballet shoes or something. I'm pretty sure LV doesn't count for much when you're fighting another human.
But assuming Frisk still has unlimited tries, it's not really a competition.
they are both humans, so they both use physical attacks that cant be dodged like monster magic.
>frisk lunges for an attack
>clover quickdraws
>frisk is laying on the ground bleeding out
>this happens no matter how many times frisk reloads, eventually frisk gives up and resets back onto a pacifist run
its implied that a human's determination isnt set between reloads in base UT. the other souls reset against asgore until they lost the will to keep going and that was that.
>Physical attacks that can't be dodged
?si=O3bs86YRypVddtg8
Also, did you forget about Omega Flowey's soul attacks? Justice's bullets seemed pretty dodgeable to me.
anon, those magic attacks.
Do you really think real guns are that big and bullets that slow?
They are human magic soul attacks that flowey is using against the human.
Ok, still haven't heard why sans can apperently dodge the undodgeable attacks.
sans is just a shitass that knows how to exploit game mechanics.
It's probably going to end up in a complete stalemate for Frisk and Clover, if the latter can JUSTICE BLAST his nards and (You) control Clover.
If it's Chara fighting, I don't think Clover has any chance
What is dead kid going to do to Clover?
Frisk since they're literally (You) and only limited by your will.
Clover has a limited amount of tries compared to the player, who can try forever, so eventually you win.
So... Adult Alternate Kanako reverse rape on flowey when?
>clover is able to gain LOVE through sheer anger in the face of a great injustice
>frisk cant gain levels like that and has to kill for LOVE
its mostly a question of how long clover can stall in order to surpass frisk's determination.
I imagine that by that point Clover already has some LOVE since Frisk has killed way too many monsters for no aparent reason, but uppon seeing Chara's past Clover realizes that this opponent is pure evil and goes nuclear
id assume so
>clover looks into frisk
>see's awakened chara
>poisoning asgore, laughing about it
>manipulating asriel
>trying to slaughter humans in mass
>hedonistic enjoyment over the deaths of dozens of monsters
the pure hatred he'd feel in that moment would be enough to kill gods.
definitely breaking the LV 20 limit thats for sure.
also begs an important question: since clover can gain LV through justice anger, can he also lose levels gained like that if he's given time to calm down?
>clover goes back to Ketsukane manor
>looks like shit and can barely hold it together.
>kanako catches on and helps clover calm down
>before the night is over he's back at LV1, the two are asleep on the couch with a corny cowboy movie playing.
I choose to believe this is how it works. I can imagine a struggle of playing real shit sheriff underground is learning to carry that weight, and knowing when its okay to put it down.
He may not be a white hat with all the work he's doing but we dont want him going all Man With No Name on us
yeah,
>clover is back at LV1 but that day still haunts him. its the first time he's had to take the life of another while in the underground
>he cant get the scenario out of his head:
rushing at him with a dusty shoe
pulls out his gun
>>next minute frisk is bleeding out on the ground.
>it was a terrible sight.
>he's wandering around, trying to take his mind off of it.
>suddenly out of nowhere, kanako tackles him
>"clover what did i say? stop being so down!"
>she hugs him tight and presses her head into his chest... clover returns the hug, this is a good distraction. even if its only for a moment.
i am very tempted to write a quick story on the justice V determination idea.
Do it, otherwise it will live rent free in your head for a while
yeah im a bit tired now, will do it tomorrow.
gunna let the idea brew a bit while i try to sleep to figure out how i want to tell the story.
>"The gunsmith himself has compared it to a pair of ballet shoes while talking about the lethality of his guns"
>he lacks critical information
anon, a pair of ballet shoes were used to slaughter countless monsters in the underground.
the blue soul went on a murder rampage. its why the tutu is dusty and the ballet shoes "make you feel dangerous"
>the blue soul went on a murder rampage. its why the tutu is dusty and the ballet shoes "make you feel dangerous"
Clearly was t super dangerous. Dalv is still here despite being a wimp.
dalv ran away, anon.
him being a whimp is exactly why he's still here.
>whenever monsters want to make something seem really dangerous they compare it to ballet shoes
>"This knife is sharp as ballet shoes."
>suddenly out of nowhere, kanako tackles him
Kanako glomp's strikes once again
When will she stop this senseless carnage?
And yeah, try writing the story. Better to put it on paper and share than holding it in your head until you get bored of it.
I'd imagine that would need way more than just Kanako glomping, we may need to bring out the big guns, we may need Kanako cuddling and comforting poor Clover.
And after all of that Clover and Kanako making some grandkids for Ceroba while holding hands
Grandchildren for Ceroba and Chujin.
NINGENNINGENNINGENNINGENNINGEN
Chujin is alive in this timeline?
Kanako's children are still Chujin's grandchildren even if he is dead.
Would Chujin be fine with having half human half monsters hybrid grandchildren?
>he gets a look into Frisks head and sees Chara and what he did to Asrial and family for shits and grins
>so incensed by these injustices that he uses DT to meddle with past events, Ghost Trick style
>fricks up the timeline
>deltarune
>kris isnt actually a fusion of frisk and chara
>its a fusion of frisk and clover.
>The ultimate power of the souls of justice is the "final judgement"
>An ability so powerful it lets the user change the past to prevent an injustice
>"final judgement"
Drawgays please
Please!
since you asked so nicely
actually ya know this does somewhat make sense considering what we know
>red soul at its height can tinker with resets at will (deleting flowey's memories) or destroying the world in its entirety (chara)
>yellow soul can pre-emptively prevent an unjust tragedy by changing history
>Martlet volunteers to take credit for acquiring Clover's soul since she's part of the Royal Guard
>Starlo and Ceroba agree that it makes the most convenient cover story to sell Asgore and the general public
>Martlet gets hailed as a hero of the Underground
>Forced to attend countless parades and television interviews about her experiences
>Her Stepford smiling face gets plastered everywhere as promotional material for the Royal Guard
>Recruitment rates skyrocket
>"JUST ONE MORE" becomes their new rallying cry
>Kids of all ages ask for her autograph and say they want to be just like her
>New Home Elementary School gives her front row seats to a dramatization how they think she violently apprehended Clover and took his soul
>They find the ugliest kid to play Clover
>Martlet cant keep this lie anymore
>The social preasure is too much
>She decides to end it all on the same rooftop where Clover died
>reach the surface
>finally she can drop the act
>negotiations for settlement on the surface require monsters to turnover anyone who killed a child
>executed for war crimes
>For Martlet, it was a different kind of freedom
Does anyone have the "so this is the surface? It wasnt worth it" Martlet image?
It goes perfectly with this story
Now this is depression kino
I like the thought of Punished Martlet
>Put on a pedestal, everyone loves her and thinks shes a vicious killer, the hero the underground needs!
>Undyne thinks she finally has an equal, puts her in Snowdin as the first line of defense, certain she'll snatch up the next one just as easy
>Martlet goes along with it, trains her ass off, becomes an effective fighter
>Stays aloof from all the fans and other guards, they just think shes intense
>Stays away from her friends Starlo and Cernoba too
>Its because she made it her mission. The next child coming through is going to make it out even if she has to tear a path right through the underground to do it
>Martlet basically sets herself up for prime weird route mindbreaking
>except its extremely easily to push her over the edge
>like a single ACT calling out for help is enough to turn her to your side
>she turns the fortifications and such she built against the monsters to make it easier to catch them
>she's so methodical about it all that it can't even be considered accidental
>even human is surprised at how cold and willing she was to turn on the rest of the underground
>does this all while never dropping her happy hero big sister facade
>Martlet starts having frequent nightmares
>Sometimes she dreams of Clover telling her that she should have shot him in the front instead of the back
>Sometimes she dreams of what might have happened had she used the steroids
>Sometimes she dreams of a visibly betrayed Clover deciding to kill every monster
Live footage of Kanako playing in Snowdin: https://youtu.be/D2SoGHFM18I?si=cncY8Lg_M9IvlNmL
This game was so fricking bland and boring. Absolute failure besides the graphics, don't know why anyone likes it.
because other people have more affluent, sophisticated taste than you do? perchance?
>Genocide Clover kills everyone he meets except the coffee cups and the badger merchant
What did he mean by this?
What sort of big scary monster would die after getting hit by a couple coffee beans?
>fan game leans heavily on generic furry OCs instead of the more fun creative designs seen in Undertale
not playing.
Take a good look at pic related, is this a furry to you?
>one character
One character with others that aren't furries (ignore the squirrel girl)
>all 5 of them get less screentime combined than ceroba
if you want to nitpick like this then what about undertale's main cast?
There's Dalv if you want another man character that isn't a furgay
Dalvs problem is that hes a fan troll. Thats a whole other kettle if fish just as bad as the furries
Dalv looks more like an Adventure Time to me
Better than what happened with the fan troll spot Toby was giving out when Undertale was on kickstarter mode and so sorry taking it
Dalv was made when the developers were teenagers. He's still fine.
have you played undertale?
yes and there were only the funny skeletons, those were the only characters in undertale
you jest but that was just a majority of the fandom for a good while.
UT's plots were set up throughout the entire game, the ketsukane plot is just dumped on you during the final section.
thats a good point but i was mainly referring to ceroba's furry design being intrusive because thats what people were complaining about
Very cold take: Ceroba's design is good because she makes my peepee hard
ceroba's design is good because she makes my heart peepee hard
they should have martlet tag with you since the start of snowdin (if you didnt trigger genocide) and she could drop some lore bits about chujin and the ketsukanes along the way
How do you make the Martlet fight work in that scenario?
Maybe Martlet talks to you from afar and doesnt realize that you are a human until you reach her post?
her fight happens at the first encounter rather than at the end
Having a main boss right after another would be weird
So Sorry was a mistake. Toby didn't realize what he was until it was too late, so he hid him in a random room you can only get to one day a year.
Toby did a really good job at hiding so sorry since I've never seen anyone outside Ganker talk about the character
that's because youtube won't let video essay gays talk about diaper inflation fetish shit while still keeping their ad gibs
I think it gives more credit to Toby's writing that he could pull it off with ugly monsters if anything can be said, on top of the nice looking goats of his game not even having very good sprites.
>the writers couldn't make interesting characters so they used a crutch
No surprises here
ceroba's character is actually interesting too though, it's just that they botched the execution and instead of finishing her arc they just crapped out the true pacifist ending deleting any semblance of her character development and character assassinating the rest of the main cast
Most furry crap is hideous, but Undertale Yellow's characters are just cartoons.
people aren't thinking of how bad it could have been
"generic furry OC" looks something more like this
Then it's a matter of using artstyle correctly. [/spoiler]who the frick is that guy on the far right? I don't remember him in the game
I would most of those
yeehaw
I doubt it, Ceroba appears to be the kind of mother who'd reject her almagate daughter even if everyone else in the underground accepted theirs almagate family
The only time i played this shit i killed everybody except the 2 skeletons because they were funny and at the end the tall one was the new king honestly i loved that. The game was boring af tho i don't get why r*ddit trannies are so obsessed with this game is not that good or deep
this one's a different game
Is it good or it's just like normal undertale?
It's better than whatever you probably consider to be a good game.
>whatever you probably consider to be a good game.
>MGS3
>RE2 1998
>Stellaris
Is it?
Ok. 2/3 are better, you've proven me wrong I guess. Stellaris is shit though.
* I don't know why you had a figurine in that expired human male tap liquid in it, but i took the item inside it anyway.
* Starlo seemed quite upset from it's psychical condition, though.
ya gotta love the cerobameister
ya just gotta
Yes, assuming that Ceroba didn't use Clover's soul to heal Kanako before she even brought his soul to Asgore.
Here's what I think about Cerobe and Kanakos designs: They should look fluffier and have a visible tail. That is all
gritty balls
maybe they are just hiding their tails.
Chujin has a tail, so kanako possibly has one. Only got good thing she inherited from that twink other than the extra neurons to compesate for Ceroba's genes.
Cute
i...
i know starlo is supposed to look happy but those eyes look evil, like he knows what he's doing to us.
He knows the pain he's causing.
>This cowboy is Pissing me off
>I'm the Original Starwalker
what a relief
cannot belief tony made us sufar for so longe
When is someone making a Bird time simulator?
ceroba... perfected...
>horse Ceroba
show her rear view
does horse have puss puss?
YES
>Not a single AU fan games has ever come out
>The only fan games that have been finished are one that is completely separated from the original (OverTime) and one that is trying to be a prequel (Yellow)
Wow it's just like most AU's are fricking boring a shit Now the only one left to do is the sequel of undertale Horrortale
What's OverTime about?
TF2 undertale crossover, you play as Miss Pauling, you can either hire the mercenaries or kill them, it's the first ever full length completed undertale fangame and it was made by one guy in 2 years
you know when we had tf2 people innthe threads because they are desperate for new content
Well they made an entire tf2 undertale fangame.
There's also Mondealy which became its own thing
Furries in UT/DR are usually a thousand times more bearable because they follow kemono art design instead of disgusting western shit
Who is the best character and why is it this nerd?
The Underground is severly lacking in masculinity if Ceroba's love triangle was a toss up between two giganerds.
Does Starlo quit being a cowboy at the end? We see him as a farmer again in the credits but not during the funeral?
he's helping his family harvest corn, still a sheriff
nerd is written consistently and his arc has follow through
>nerd is written consistently
He's the most well-rounded of the 3 main monsters but I don't know about that. He can't bring himself to raise a hand against a geno kid but gets so hopped up on cowboy juice he'll straight up murder a pacifist for fortune and glory
Devs are kids, please understand. Also Kanako dying and not having her plotline resolved is because of the devs being kids
for their ages it's very impressive what they've created. i was pretty shocked to learn these guys are like early twenties right now, slightly older than me, and they were able to make all this. especially as someone going into the same field, it's both awe-inspiring and daunting.
i'm sure this will be a great stepping stone for the devs to move onto even better things. that's what these free projects are ultimately for. they're kinda amateur, they're not perfect, but they're great learning experiences and can still be really really good.
Nah, he stays as a cowboy no matter what. (Both pacifist and neutral.) Thing is, Starlo is too successful to quit his larping business anytime soon
>is a tailor
>has everyone in town dressed up
>manages his ties with people performing in the Saloon like Mettaton
>makes the laws of his town
>has doctors, merchants, ect working while keeping a larping act up
>does the taxes around town
>also have fun doing his larps
The guy is a genuine business man despite being a playful motherfricker
His Dad also explains how his son saved the farm from the drought through the wild east's business. Starlo may as well be rich but prefers to live his life like a cowboy
I need the absolute ultimate cuck fic of Ceroba having sloppy degrading sex with Alphys as she undergoes age regression into a toddler
who's regressing? ceroba?
Yes, she becomes more moronic on every step
The whole kitsune family deserves nothing but humiliation.
no, i don't think you or anyone needs that
>sex with Alphys
Of all the people in the underground, why Alphys?
because Chujin hates her and she's the reason he never got what he wanted
And? Is this degrading for Ceroba or for Alphys? And is Ceroba being forced or something?
for Ceroba because it's the final nail in the coffin for her husband
are you new to this?
But why is Ceroba having sex with Alphys, how do you even reach that point?
Clover is holding Kanako at gunpoint and Alphys is too sleazy to try and stop it from happening.
The worst part is that Alphys would enjoy every second of it
You think Ceroba makes that same pixelated scream whenever she orgasms?
>flashes clover inadvertently during her tard rage power up
>inadvertently
That part was pretty cool despite everything else honestly. Maybe I just like characters screaming in anger too much.
Imo it fits the fight way more than it fits the character who's fighting. You think it'd end on 3 phases like a normal fricking boss fight but Ceroba is so fricking stubborn that she goes on a tard rage.
Its good characterization for a pretty meh character
Discount Elon Musk never shut up does he?https://nitter.net/SebastianWolff/status/1742952453568709021/

Go see if Scott has weighed in on this stupidity and we might.
Nothing I could find from him about it. =(
I've seen the ending a dozen times over 2 weeks and I only now realized this was Dalv's house.
Also, why do people ship him and Starlo when Ceroba's the one delivering it?
Horny reasons
Because Dalv loves corn and country boys make do
Because fujos are desperate for gay
She's doing it in Kanako's place. We know he used to be friends with Kanako before the Axis incident when he became a recluse, and we know he kept receiving corn on his doorstep right up until she got the jab. The lonely girl on the swing was also datamined and discovered to be kanako_friend
I honestly thought the swing girl was a side quest that I missed
Maybe you should play the game and find out for yourself.
A shocking idea, I know. But it just might work.
It's actually the fox you should worry about. Avoid true pacifist
thanks dudes, I think a lot of people post the bird while talking about the fox which got me confused. I will shoot the fox if she is a stupid b***h. peace!!!
You may be thinking of the fox.
thegamedude is in the thread now
Neutral is worth doing just for its final boss.
1. Play mostly pacifist
2. When you fight the robot with a shield, die and then back up your save (its in localapp somewhere)
3. Kill the robot for neutral, spare it for pacifist.
4. At the end of the pacifist final boss, KILL the final boss instead of SPAREing.
ceroba did nothing wrong THOUGH
KILL CEROBA

Clover deserves his big childhood friend fox gf that also owes him her life
Why's she got the hyperdeath face markings if she hasn't absorbed clover?
they found out about soul duplication glitches
Based
That means he can also have his Zenith bird mom too.
Weeb cosplay
Those are actually the markings of the mask Ceroba uses during her fight
that clover is too small, but I always welcome more kanako art
it's just clover is a small king and kanako a tall queen.
An unusual combination that leaves clover looking very small.
snusnu
Clover is short and kanako is tall? Or Kanako is just a giant?
He's not very good at Strip Poker, is he?
Either that or Mooch is cheating.
ceroba (modo refrigerador)

yes, right next to all the booze and blue gatorade
Who the frick kept posting beastiality deer porn in a Noelle thread
WHO ARE YOU
In the /trash/ thread? Jesus, poor bastards.
Kanako would troll threads, wouldn't she?
She'd find her way onto Chujins computer with one of these threads open, see a Ceroba mind break green then start crying

it happened before when Deltarune had big news and some frickers starting posting shit like that to get the threads deleted

guess i killed kanako by accident too

idk this one

you should make a twitter anon , you can make a career out of this.
>Fluffy tail on his lap
What a lucky bastard. But dammit, he earned it.
How do you do your construction
not gonna lie, i thought the deltarune yellow shit people were ideating about in here was kind of lame, but you sold me here. this might be cool to see as a one-off thing, these two being childhood friends is pretty cute.
would chujin actually be racist if the monster war never happened? it's basically the entire reason he is racist, so would that change or would it be like a sort of destined thing, like how toriel and asgore still divorce
All of Chujin's misery was because the human-monster war motivated him to become something he wasn't. All evidence suggests he was a gifted carpenter, a so-so engineer, and a terrible geneticist/monster biologist. He'd have been much happier sticking with the first skill set, but you can't save monsterkind by building cabinets, so instead he ruined his career and his life on Axis and the Silly Serum.
most nuanced take on chujin ive frickin read here
Idk I've seen some good ones
I imagine deltarune chujin hates humans because he sees them as brutes, blue attacked kanako when they were kids and his store is probably losing business against a human owned store
>Clover using Kanako's gorgeous fluffy tail as a blanket
God, I wish that was me. I really love how you draw Kanako, she's so precious! Like, she's at mare levels of adoracute, her mother too.
>chisps
>pizza pies from the chef bot
It's the little things.
god damn look at that tail.
imagine if she was like a japanese accurate kitsune and gained another every 100 years (up to nine)
That's an entire bed. Clover could just walk into her huge bundle of tails and completely disappear.
appears as if this is the one thing furgays and monster girl lovers can agree on.
Wait... Kanako actually ate lego bricks? That's canon?
>He doesn't know
There's a reason why the smartest of the family only has one tail
I love my capitalist husband!
homie just lets his big fat racoon nuts hang out in the open while talking with kids, he's a fricking menace

my dumb moron wife tripped on a rock and fell down and now she looks like this
what do
Make the rock trip on her to reverse the spell
idk i'm having second thoughts she's really cute this way and after just telling her sweet things once she started acting really cute too
I like to think this versio of Ceroba wasn´t an absolute moron. And that Kanako just died to the other human that Axis neutralized. That would justify her actions a lot more imo.
I love fell Martlet so much
>Fellmart
Sounds like a demonic shopping center.
I'm glad she's as garbage here as she is in the real game.
So then what the frick is Edgy Axis?
>So then what the frick is Edgy Axis?
Just one of the Auschwitz ovens on wheels.
exposed midriff Marlet > desaturated wifebeater Martlet
You are not allowed to argue against this.
I agree, not that im surprised they gave her a shirt, but why a wifebeater? they could've put her in anything else but decided upon a wifebeater
...You mean a fricking tank top?
Wife-beater, tank top, muscle shirt, whats the difference
The person who wears it. I'm not calling it a wifebeater unless it's being worn by a sweaty middle-aged balding alcoholic man
As far as I care Martlet would call it a wifebeater but say it really fast and not understand what the name actually says or means
>"Martlet wtf are you wearing"
>"Oh just my wif-ee-better!"
>sweaty middle-aged alcoholic Martlet whose feathers are falling out
Ceroba has been a terrible influence on her.
No.
Just spitballing for now but it goes something like this
>Ceroba convinces Clover et al to go to the True Lab to find Kanako
>The find her mutated and crazy
>blank verse, but it ends very badly
>Ceroba's left in utter despair
>Clover decides to go back to New Home and surrender to Asgore
>Clover has a brief heart-to-heart with Asgore before willingly giving up their soul
Yeah I'm handcuffing myself to the official Pacifist endings kind of, but I've already accepted the idea there's no way this kid is getting a happy ending. Prequels and all.
>Ceroba still doesn't get closure
>Instead of sticking around to help her heal he just goes lmao bye
>Still pretty much kills himself
Fair enough, I havent written anything in awhile either, so its not like im the number one person to listen to on that kinda stuff, just going off what I think of it all.
>Wife beater Martlet
Anon that's her fricking feathers, she's bare chested
I wish, unfortunately, according to devs and official art it is a shirt
Oh I thought you were talking about the Fell Martlet art. My B homey.
Oh yeah no Fell Martlet is just running no shirt, pretty based if you ask me
>Ceroba
>Much more quiet
I'm sold.
can someone explain the appeal of underfell to me?
is it just
>what if the characters you know and love...
>were DARK and EDGY and EMO
is there some value to it besides goth ceroba?
So fans speculate that Undertale is like Tobyfox took a basic fantasy story and turned it into what the fandom would have crafted. Underfell is kind of a reversion of turning them back into the evil monsters you'd usually expect from an RPG, before the fandom got a hold of them and turned them into cute doofuses. But that doesn't necessarily mean Underfell is well-executed.
>Tobyfox took a basic fantasy story and turned it into what the fandom would have crafted
ah, i remember that hearing that kind of conjecture when undertale came out. makes sense someone would try that kind of reversal.
>not well executed
>slop to consume
figures it doesn't have much merit beyond the hypothetical, thanks anons.
>thanks anons.
Its just an alternate take on characters/a setting, kinda just slop to consume, I think its kinda cool to see how people reckon the characters would react in a more aggressive underground, but thats about it. And Martlet, almost forgot Martlet.
Hazbin hotel
i can fix this ceroba too
I NEED to have sex with this Ceroba.
>Underfell makes both insane hags even hotter
I'm sold.
Cooking something up
>Clover gets pardoned and lives in the underground until their natural death
>is under heavy watch by the Royal Guard and eventually a young Undyne is assigned to “Human Watching Duty”.
>Undyne starts out with typical monster anti-human racism even after a few monsters vouch for Clover’s character
>after a wacky adventure chasing some bandits, Undyne gets overheated and collapses
>Clover hands her a canteen of water despite her harsh treatment of them
>Undyne is confused by Clover’s actions
>Clover explains about the difference between JUSTICE and JUDGEMENT, and how they had to forgive monsters attacking them when they first arrived to the Underground to learn that difference.
>Undyne begins respecting Clover and adopting their philosophy of JUSTICE
Any time you pair Clover with Kanako you are cucking Clover's natural true wife Martlet.
And?
>Ceroba cucks another
but martlet is his mom
Mom/Aunt/OlderSister Martlet is best Martlet
You forgot wife.
Whatever happens happens
who was dalv again
He's the guy who likes smoking weed, right?
Read his name backwards
oh my fricking god
IMO it wouldve made more story sense if Kanako injected herself?
It would still give Ceroba an in character reason to hate humanity and "save monsterkind" , both of her kin died trying to free the underground, so naturally she would fight to the death to make sure her ideals were realized, right? To make sure "justice" is served?
yes but the writers were even more moronic as ceroba when writing that entire last segment of the game
Yes, that is what I was assuming when I saw her sitting outside the room with her parents, and the first half of the cutscene where it was just her watching the tapes.
Whoever wrote this schwarbage really dropped the ball
kanako injecting herself would fix half of the ending
the other half would be actually going to the lab and finishing the kanako plotline
*Frisk
Frisk isnt a real character, Kris is most definitely just a car we hijacked
Why kind of person plays Undertale?
The lonely and mentally ill
Many types. Its a popular game. I remember back when Toby dropped the demo on Ganker and we all loved it.
I was actually thinking of a rewrite of the Pacifist ending, but I'm holding out for the writegay to finish their True Lab project first.
>I was actually thinking of a rewrite of the Pacifist ending, but I'm holding out for the writegay to finish their True Lab project first.
Never wait on someone else when you can just do your own shit.
This, you might end up with something better and the anon could get inspired
100% agreed, I would love to see whatever you cook up, anon
Speaking of, I feel I'm nearly done with the true lab chapter proper. I'm just debating whether or not to cut a section I've written that I'm feeling doesn't really need to be there, then it'll need some proofing
bump
I love Dunebug! Best character!
>make a sand castle
>d'awww
>it starts shooting arrows
Best character indeed
What would Integrity be like in the DeltaYellow verse?
She'd be the total b***h that redeems herself later Or dies, whichever comes first
Rich b***h that doesn’t believe she should change because she’s “being true to herself”. Gets sucked into a dark world, fights a few darkners but gets bodied by an encounter that requires Acting to defeat. Gets slowly humbled over the course of the game in a pacifist route, potential weird route target otherwise.
I'm glad they named it Undertale Yellow and not some shit like Justicetale or Yellowtale because that would've given it an unshakable "cringe AU" vibe
Is Ceroba a word search or junior jumble monster?
She isnt smart enough to do either
>Ceroba is working on a word search
>She's clearly struggling and having so much trouble she's on the verge of tears
>you look over her shoulder
>The only word in the word bank is "sand", and the word search itself is just the letters S-A-N-D printed vertically
>you give Ceroba a look of extreme bewilderment she howls with anguish
>A variation of Hopes and Dreams named "A Decoders LOVE" starts playing
>She starts banging on the paper with her stick (it is unharmed)
I like to imagine if you try and help her she'd get really offended and go on some tangent about how her husband was the smartest monster ever
>Chujin left me this codex so that I could carry his hopes and dreams for monsterkind!
>(he really gave it to her so he could work in peace and quiet for a few hours)
Yeah, Ceroba wouldn't know what any of those big words mean
WHEN YOU SEE THE YELLOW SOUL
BREAK YOUR MORALS AND CRACK YOUR SPEARS MEN.
IF YOU WISH TO NOT FALL
THIS DETERMINATION IS WHAT PROPELS ME
STAVES THRUST INTO THE SKY
AIM DIRECTLY AT THEIR FRAGILE RIBCAGE

YELLOW SOUL
Word search, and you just know she'd start thinking she's hot shit when (if) she manages to find the last one
She's still trying to figure out how Kanako's baby toys work.
How does the Lego stick together? Why can't she get the rectangle through the circle hole?
If you wish upon Starlo, would your dreams come true?
Why is he so small
y not
dwarf star
Legally moronic Ceroba is the funniest thing to come out of this game and I'm glad it wasn't better written because of it
Only saving grace of how she was written
Can someone draw Ceroba looking in the mirror going "I'm moronic?"
I’ll make sure Marlet has 9 whole months of developing a new character (our child) in her bird womb while that old maid Ceroba goes childless
>while that old maid Ceroba goes childless
too late for that homosexual
i've already given her 10 more children and whenever she's around them she wears the tard leash so there's no risk of her vaxxing them, i also cured kanako via soul duplication and turned her into my daughter wife
Our families will become bitter rivals until my third son falls for your 7th daughter in a tragic love story that ends in their mutual deaths, uniting us in our grief
Now this anons really getting his moneys worth out of his goingintogames machine
not if i frick every single one of you to add you to MY family
Thats not how the plot of Romeo and Juliet goes, stick to the script
>being basically written out of the story as soon as Ceroba enters the picture
I love how the writers didnt know what to do with her during the Starlo segment so they stuck her in an honest to god Box
If Ceroba had been a tanuki it would have been less obvious she was babby's first OC and it would have been easier to forgive her for being legally moronic. They still could've kept their shitty foreshadowing to tell you she was tricking Clover and kept all the Japanese shit in their cowboy game.
this sounds more like seething about furshit on a fangame to a furry game than any gripes with her moronic writing issues
Bro why the frick are furries so obsessed with foxes though
The most basic b***h fursonas are canids thats why sparkledog is a term
ceroba and her moron family dont even look close to sparkledogs though, ceroba herself even looks like a cc2 kemono ripoff, this whole tangent is fricking braindead
Wasnt saying Ceroba is a sparkledog. She’s instead what happens when you have your teenage furry phase and weeb phase at the same time. You read about Kitsunes and then Tamamo no Mae gets you in her clutches and thats just it.
just saying because there's been a homosexual in these threads throwing that term around without knowing what it actually means or what sparkledog shit actually looks like
If there's a better term for the sort of wankery that has Ceroba dressed as a shrinemaiden and living in a Japanese castle just down the street from Undergoodsprings, on top of whatever the hell picrel is, I'd be happy to hear it.
I know in my soul that the word "weeaboo" does not suffice here.
donut steele
there is literally zero correlation between the garish neon colored very incredibly western furry ocs of the 2000s and a cyberconnect2 kemono design ripoff doing 2hu cosplay, it's not even fricking close and the latter is exactly what toby would do if he wasn't shit at art considering he's both a furgay AND a 2hugay, the quirky design shit is just insane cope
Great, so surely you have a better word to classify whatever the frick Ceroba is.
completely standard by the numbers anthro fox character
there are many problems with ceroba writing wise but these shitfits over her design are utterly fricking moronic, just as moronic as she is
Canids are absurdly fricking popular with furries dude, its been that way since day one. Im confident that 50% of furgays have a Fox, Wolf, or other kind of Canid as their sona
Foxes and wolves were the dominant swimmers in the furgay primordial soup
Similar to Dogs but just different enough to justify whatever personalities they want I guess, idk, I think its pretty gay. I was never really into furshit, I just like Martlet.
Vixens are fricking hot, that's why.
Yeah man i’ll patch it by tomorrow just for you
Toby, you can't just show up in the thread doing yellowface.
>Toby's Japanese fans kill him after they mistakenly believe he's a Chinese man
Honestly, skill issue
>Struggling on Pacifist
Just wait till you get to Martlet (Forma Ultima)
You have never touched a touhou game before if you think Pacifist Ceroba has difficult patterns
You wanna see what a "Sans AU Fight Fangame" looks like?

There you go Black
She's still tougher than either of the secret bosses in Deltarune, whatever that's worth.
deltarune's secret bosses are piss easy
Well yeah theyre the first 2 secret bosses in a game with 6 or 7 presumably
God I unironically hope that Toby decides to make the difficulty scale, and that by the last 3 or so chapters we actually start seeing people get filtered

sand? yeah, there's a whole desert area. it's western themed

Im gonna try some writehomosexualry, any recommendations on what to write about? UTY-oriented of course.
Not sure. Something longer then a short but not novel length
>I always want to see more light-hearted stuff of Kanako and Clover
Fair, I'd imagine Kanako would pop up somewhere since shes a rather important character story-wise
>living on the surface after the barrier is broken with Ceroba
Im more of a Martlet guy, but I could probably write Ceroba. I'll have to give the game another run-through anyway just to really nail down how they talk and whatnot.

For the record, the cat monster is the same one you find in the dunes cafe playing on the arcade
This is a continuation of the principal Bailador one right?
I enjoyed the writegay, I like seeing peoples' attempts at the other souls.
Interesting perspective to have. Nice little piece, anon, you did well at characterising her with showing her rationalisations and stuff
Martlet would work too, there's a case for her ending up Clover's guardian I feel
Either way is good, I'll be looking forward to whatever you write
Hey hello
Um killing children is bad
Not if it's for vengeance.
Wrong.
killing mostroyim children because of muh 5 is good though

The main true lab chapter is done. Clocks in at 12400 words.
I am very nervous about this one. I hope it meets people's expectations. I spent a lot of time rearranging and rewriting many parts of it, because it was real hard to make it feel the right length and the right tone, hit on the themes I felt each character needed, trying to figure how each character should react to things, etc.
I hope it's paid off and I appreciate anyone who deigns to drop a (You) to tell me what they think.

I'll also put this new part up on AO3 shortly, the story is called 'Cover Up The Footprints' there
that was great as always, sorry if i don't have much else to say
Thank you, anons
Which one are you thinking off the cuff? I've never put a picture on AO3,I don't even know if they have stricter rules about that shit than here
Your input's honestly appreciated anon. I really couldn't figure how much softer Ceroba should be on Alphys towards the end, just couldn't get a bead on it no matter how many times I looked at it. I'll take your idea on board and probably write something similar if you don't mind, it honestly looks real good to me
>I'm guessing that's the section you were thinking about trimming
You are very much welcome, and god bless you for pouring your efforts into writing such an amazing fic
It's more I can do. I wish I got off my ass and committed to writing out the character-centric vignette I've been sketching out for like 3 years now... which has not helped by me being distracted by other writing ideas.
The one here
captures everything in the scene pretty well. And Ao3 doesn't really care what image you put in there aslong as it's not gore last, was pretty easy last time I did it just search it up.
That was excellent. Thank you for writing the thing, An honest good read.
Should definitely add one of the Kanoko pictures to the ao3 upload
Something like...:
> Before she stepped out of the door for the last time, she turned and looked back to Alphys, still standing exactly where she’d left her.
You can do it.”
> She strode out over the threshold, and the lab door whooshed shut behind her.
Feels a bit shameless to replace your writing with my own, but this is just to give you the gist of what I'm getting D0SAat.
lmao final sentence was corrupted by misplaced captcha typing. I meant "getting at".

>Moments before being impaled Martlet breaks out into song
>Clover dies of cringe from hearing her sing THIS song
>The only way she survives the Neutral ending is by singing something so terrible to hear Clover just dies
>The occasional voice cracks are just her squawking
u
ok I finished the true pacifist route and I don't get the ceroba memes, I felt most things were justified to a decent enough degree
>used kanako for the experiment
kanako was the one who asked her to do that, and she probably didn't have enough knowledge on the science stuff to foresee that would happen. she regrets it and acknowledged it as a mistake in-game. same for wanting to use clover's soul to save kanako
>'kills clover'
clover is the one who decides to give up their soul to aid monster kind, no one is ok with it, but they won't force em to do anything. but yeah, this is a very troubling decision to have clover make anyways, it's basically saying "oh cool, you're one dead kid away from freedom now, awesome"
so yeah, I don't get it. did I oversee something? am I stupid?
>No, Ceroba. Do not inject Kanako. Do not bring her into this at all.
>Injects her anyways
>Deals with grief of (incidentally) killing her own child
>Second child goes "alright I wanna kill myself"
>Shes all good with it
The issue isnt that she physically kills them, but that she has the power to stop them, and doesn't. Just lets two kids die pretty much.
>kanako was the one who asked her to do that
Imagine if it came out that the Fauci vax was getting tested on kids that went "yeah sure go ahead and inject me with god knows what this is", just cause a kid goes "yeah its alright" doesnt mean that you can listen to them.
a better example would be
>please let me drink dish soap mom! it looks like a tasty blueberry drink.
>kanako
I'm not saying it was right, but I find it understandable that she would think it wouldn't backfire, if the research indicated that the method worked, as kanako reads from the discarded note. her not listening to chujin's very specific request was kinda weird, but that's part of the mistake as a whole, I think
>clover
feel like that was too different a scenario to make the parallel. kid was already with their soul out and everything, and allowing them the choice is a sort of respect to clover, especially when the alternative is to stay on the run in the underground with asgore looking for clover.
but yeah, I kinda get it now, it seems really bad when all of this happens so quickly in the story. thanks for the explanation.
>if the research indicated that the method worked, as kanako reads from the discarded note
see the thing is that it was DISCARDED
if it worked, it wouldnt have been discarded.
pretty sure it was implied that it was discarded because she wasn't interested in the method, and ceroba would've likely known if it was wring, since she threw it away.
... actually, that'd have been a great excuse to not do the experiment with kanako, saying that it was a wrong conclusion.
I do? my point is that I find ceroba's mistake believable with the nuance the story has, and I find her story tragic, rather than...
