Kind of true for me.

Them allowing you to explore a pretty expansive area with plenty of nooks and crannies helped to sell the game. At least for me
I wasn't interested in her at all until I started watching her rapport convos the other day, they're all so fricking cute and shes so close with Alain that its hard to say no to her.
But then, theres also characters like this...
I kept her frontline just to trigger her triple counter. Gave her Lucky Coin, Thieves Cloak and +counterattack earrings. Also included angel archer in the team to blind everyone. Oh, and she got Mystic Conferral from elven archer.
It was probably my best team.
Plenty of us like foxwife, it's just a couple dedicated autists who get really bootyblasted at just the mention of her. They're probably the ones reporting the threads, too tbh.
Clerics heal better and buffs to NPCs mean very little considering you'll often kill them anyway. As another anon said, they're really only useful for online battles
There are Witches with Quick Cast, Owls stop them dead. Clerics are shit. Terrible class outdone by several others
Some anon will retort >Refresh
And now we come to the actual useless skill, as you should just kill or status things before they can debuff you
The anon asked which is better. I'm telling him Owls are better. They're a better supporting class, and their healing with special staves is enough if you're moronic enough to get hit in the first place.

Owls don't stop you from getting hit anyway so no idea what your point even is

Anonymous
You're not touched, are you, anon? My point is healing is only useful if you take damage.
Owls do in fact stop an annoying enemy comp (Quick Cast + Ice Coffin), and do some other useful things besides.
Clerics can only help if you're incompetently taking loads of damage and debuffs to the face, and they're outclassed by Radiant Knights and Featherstaffs as pure healers

Feathershield reflects that to freeze an entire row. You're vastly overrating owls. They're a PP battery first and foremost with some other minor support capabilities.
Except for very specific setups, Clerics or a different class will perform better in almost every team.

Feathershields suck too. They have one gimmick they do well - reflecting magic. That's it.
Owls being a PP battery is worth more than the both of them combined. I'm not overrating them, I'm rating Clerics where they should be - they're bad. You only ever use them if you're directly taking tons of hits and debuffs to the face, which you obviously shouldn't be, by your own admission.

Owls are trash. Imagine using anything other than Sniper Lens Alain or instant cast Trinity Rain. Yikes and unoptimal.

>some things are better than other things
Glad we could reach an understanding
>Alain + Blue Rose team literally cannot fight Galerius >Rosalinde Rage of Faeries + Elf Fencers basically kill him with him being perma stunned and not even being able to activate his shield
What did they mean by this? Why didn't the elves kill Galerius earlier? Are the elves griefing?
Because if you had paid attention to the story, you'd know that the spirit of Galerious just over the body of the person who killed him. The Ring of the Unicorn is needed to permanently kill him since it cleanses the souls of Zenoria
>Either have to always run multiple clerics on any map with undead units (of which there are alot) >Or you can waste item slots on every character with the consumable that exorcises undead
In hindsight this game really fricking loved to throw zombies in your way.
>In hindsight this game really fricking loved to throw zombies in your way.
And that's a good thing!
Alignment was kinda hard to manage at times, but being able to deploy a super goody two shoes law aligned squad was fun, liberating towns for good publicity, while the evil, chaos aligned squads made of rapists, werewolves and tax payers handle the fighting head on.
Question, is this game really good? The aesthetic is disappointingly bland for the studio but I think it probably has its charms if I were to get deep into it. Is the game itself good though?
The artstyle is different from previous games since George didn't work on it, in fact it was the director's first time directing the game. His letter in the artbook was nice in detailing how much support George gave the game's staff. But to answer your question it's really reminiscent of old Japanese strategy games, the simplistic story is taken out of older fire emblem games while the gameplay is akin to that found in the Ogre Battle series with the gambit system of Final Fantasy XII to program how your party members will act out in combat. Overall it's very addicting but the most common complaint is how even in end game all generic enemy units are too simplistic in their programming (outside of bosses and Colosseum battles enemies are programed with the default gambits for every skill) so you're just accounting for the types of classes in enemy teams more than what they're going to do 99% of the time. There's a demo, you should try it out first.

I fricking finally managed to cheese Galarius to death but none of that struggle fricking mattered at all because Baltro rapes all of my units to death even with the special ring skills. I loved this game up until this map but now I fricking despise it.
Baltro is just a meat grinder you weaken with other parties and then throw Alain at once you can finish him off. There are no real gimmicks to it like Galerius, it's just a strong party.
You kind of invalidated your first sentence with your second. Why the hell would you need to grind? Stats don't even do a whole lot in UO. And I can't imagine anyone getting to Galerius and Baltro without being at least level 35 (when the last skills are unlocked).
Why is this game so fricking easy? Playing on the highest difficulty for a first run through, I made it to the final fight of the coliseum with level 24 Alain and 4 other units at levels 20-22. I haven't remotely min-maxed my equipment (it's spread around super haphazardly), and I haven't remotely tried to theorycraft good unit formations.
Is the formation of Alain, Berengaria, Selvie, Rosalinde, and Ithilion is actually good, or is the coliseum piss easy for some reason? It feels wild I'm easily taking out level a level 40 team.
You don't have to actually wipe the enemy team to "win" in the coliseum, keep that in mind. It's way harder killing all of them underleveled.
Anyway, you shouldn't take level too seriously as an indicator of strength. In UO outcomes are heavily skewed towards equipment and tactics.
It was probably designed like this due to its openness. You can do parts of the game out or order (Bastorias after Cornia, for example), and it's not exactly trivial to do this should you elect to. Almost like a choose-your-own-difficulty thing. In the long run you're overwhelmingly advantaged because...it's an SRPG. Knowledge check.
>Someone makes a video about beating the final mission pre Scarlett rescue in TZ >Watch it out of curiosity >He rejected Mandrin and Monica for more divine shards to make a trinity rain meme team with less divine shard grinding and he grinded the last sigil until he could get 5 party teams
Sort of makes me feel better about clearing it without trinity rain and just 4 man teams.
An active skill you get from the millennium scepter, a weapon you can buy from the divine shard store. It's a charge attack that hits every enemy party member 3 times with magic. The dedicated trinity rain team is about buffing the character performing the spell and using the cat hood to remove the charge time.
Are Elves the only ones with naturally long lives? Trying to decide who to marry based on that criteria. Like the witch from the swamp, how does she age?
[...]
She also says that she won't be able to do it again, this new, fertile body is her last.
Yahna will die at a normal human age but her body won’t age physically
She ages normally just used magic to reverse a bit, but she can't do it again and again forever
Perfect for breeding and marriage
So she looks like THAT, is a hag, her womb can carry children, will have a normal life span unlike the near immortal elves. Is there a downside to marrying her???
Nothing in that screenshot implies she died soon after the ending. The opposite, since they say she "maintained" her young appearance implying it was notable she didn't look older.
Actually it isn't long enough. You can tell tell how they started rushing things by Bastorias and Albion.
Also weirds me out that there isn't a more proper final campaign for Gran Corrine
Bastorias didn't feel rushed. Albion was short true.
Gran Corrine map was fine but funnily enough, I found the Holy March to Bisfaine Basilica to be a more memorable mission.
This, Bastorias was arguably the game's peak since the missions had some variety to them compared to other regions, only real exception to that were the two final main battles which were your standard "rush to boss" maps with no gimmicks like blizzards, protecting green units, or preventing enemies from reaching a certain zone and leaving the map. Also having to account for night time coming was fun from a time management viewpoint, you could never really take your time since you absolutely had to cripple the enemy offensive before it became night and they all sped up.
Bastorias didn't feel rushed. Albion was short true.
Gran Corrine map was fine but funnily enough, I found the Holy March to Bisfaine Basilica to be a more memorable mission.
It's clear they started to cut additional content to get the game out the door before the company went into trouble.
Yeah in Albion, the missions there felt a lot more vanilla and lazily designed than anything in Bastorias outside of that first mission where you could attack boats. Funny the game doesn't even use the boat background which they already had for previous cutscenes as the battle background but instead opts for the standard coastline battle background while fighting on the boats.
You can just use both scarves if you aren't really making use of the crit chance bonus on her with the woodpecker. The coin has the same evasion buff as the blue scarf, just added crit chance.
I mean...the Coin is just a straight up better version of the scarf. Why not?
I think he might be using the woodpecker crossbow with its bonus crit damage that has a 3 hit unique attack.
Best-in-slot evade booster after Royal Scarf. Mine casually got up to 144 evasion before any dews or rapport bonuses. Werewolves in Bertrand & Govil map have 150 (S rank) accuracy.
You can just use both scarves if you aren't really making use of the crit chance bonus on her with the woodpecker. The coin has the same evasion buff as the blue scarf, just added crit chance.
I'm always thrown off by Celeste's massive rack because she has an uguu cute face but a massive fricking rack. Hot characters like Railanor should have big boobs. Cute characters should have small ones.
>Go through the ending sequence with Chloe >Chloe: "I AM HELPING! SOMEHOW!"
It feels so weird how she seems to be winging it in the end. She's quite literally been with you from the start and has seen fricking everything. She should at the very least have some understanding about what she's pulling off with the ring.
It's an attempt to make her seem more "real." Any attempt to be all profound would end up with a Neil Armstrong-tier delivery. >oh shit, this is supposed to be a deep & meaningful moment that the two of us will look back on for the rest of our lives >*proceed to flub the lines I had prepared in my head*
>get sick of reputation grinding >just spend a couple of hours maxing it in the tavern >100s of support conversations all over the map
Frick me, this game has too much content. I'm 100+ hours in and I just want to finish it.
The rings only came into existence when the first queen of Cornia decided to seal the power of the unicorn in her blood by binding it to two rings. She kept the unicorn ring and entrusted the other to long lived elves along with the knowledge of the rite to unbind the power in the rings for day it would be needed. Elves are the best bet for preserving knowledge and hiding things behind their magic tree bullshit.
The elven leader, the Pope, the sages and Cornia's queen all engineered the prophecy years ago as a way to eventually exorcise all the zenoiran ghosts that were stuck in limbo. They were collaborators so they each had a role to fulfill. Elves with their long ass lifespans were probably meant to relay instructions.
For anons who did the Norbelle run, how do you bridge the massive level gap between the pre-Eucuit towns and the pre-Gran Corrine battles? Do you just slowly grind up EXP books?
Just checking that across all playthoughs of our game you have given the ring to the same maiden every time.
What? You thought my curse only applied for one save file?
Does Clive fall off really hard later in the game or something like that?
I'm 20 hours in so far and he's been consistenly my best unit so far due to how much damage he's able to shit out every turn.
Great Knights do fall off to some degree later on, my Knight unit was pretty much the "oh shit" carry unit early on but later not anymore. They're still decent and useful up to the end but other units definitely outstrip them in sheer murder might.
Always late to these threads but I’ll post my favorite, the strong muscle girl Nina. She may not look like it but she’s got the strength to carry (You)
>I dress like a prostitute because the fairies bless me with wind to max my dexterity and agility to easily out maneuver all opponents >falls down and breaks ankle
>Dark elves claim they dress like this because they want to wear as little iron as possible >meanwhile Ithilion dresses like this
Who do these bawds think they're fooling
>thick thighs >fat ass >wide hips >huge breasts
She's built like a brickhouse. No part of her is frumpy. Also she makes a better Queen than Berengaria which is saying a lot since even an autistic NEET doesn't manage to get fired by her husband.
Can someone help with a Trinity Rain setup? I want to use Quick Impetus on Auch and cast Trinity Rain ASAP. But Auch's initiative is so low I'm not having much success with it. Any unit I put QI on becomes useless without passives for too long for the setup to make sense.
Unlike Hilda and Dragoon Dive, where you can have it literally be the first thing that's cast in battle.
Your options are >hastened cast from Magia Heart >use Yahna instead as at lvl25 she gets quick cast which saves you a slot and 1pp at the expense of her already meagre crit >some convoluted PP/AP conditions that will make quick impetus ignore everyone until auch
The Glaive? I think I got it somewhere near the end of Elfheim and the start of Bastorias
Wait is or just called glaive? No wonder I missed it, it has no clues given like hunters halberd/Claymore as to it's passive boost
I had Celeste in the back row with him. She has the +20 initiative plume that lets get give the row +10. Combined with Gryphon's own +15 move, that's +25 without using slots on Auch. If the squad is working correctly, no one's damage really matters except Auch, particularly when he can double cast. I have the cat hood on a sainted knight just to be leader for mobility, reduced magic assist damage, and able to heal off assist damage or stray hits. Then I have an elven archer that uses magic conferral on Auch and sorcerous familiars him, and before he could double cast she ran the start of battle stun bow to try to flush out guarding units. Final member ended up just being a legionnaire running phantom shield and row guard to catch quick cast ice coffins.
Early on I was doing stupid shenanigans to try to mage sure the buffs landed on Auch, but at some point realized I could just set them to target the unit with the highest magic.
Anyone who wants the extra passive point and has an already low crit chance. Radiant Knights are a decent candidate, assuming they aren't already using the Runic swords.
For cucking Clive, yes? For being an opportunist who uses Alain's affection towards her for her own personal gain? No. Still a b***h, still worst girl.
Aside from getting comfortable with things that just work, the sheer amount of options have left me with several unexplored builds even while I'm in end game.
Haven't used many different units and only just now at lvl 40 decided on a Dragoon Dive setup because of the Wingline Standard. It's great, probably should have done it earlier and will do so on a TZ playthrough.
>backline Ridiel with pumped up initiative to grant Mystic Conferral for a bit of extra damage and as the quick impetus user >backline owl with Dirty Gambler's coin for physical attack and crit damage as well as to cuck any quick cast witch >Fran with Angel Plume and Lamplight Ring, giving accuracy that with the Standard completely cancels out Wide Inspiration penalty, stops blind, grants my flying offense in the front row 20 initiative while also exhausting enough PP that my condition for quick impetus passes her over in favor of the dragoon dive user >Generic wyvern with Dragoon lance and heavens wyvern reins for stats/true strike/damage boost >Hilda with the Standard, Glaive, and Outlaw Bracelet so that wide pursuit helps clean up what little survives
Wait there are actually some contrarians in this thread pretending that Scarlett isn't the best girl? Just because she is the obvious girl to marry? These morons think that they're smart or have interesting tastes for not picking the main girl, while they're actually the complete opposite, can't even think for themselves.
Used that on my Shaman together with two Plumes to fix the Initiative. Other than that Shaman uses practically no other skills.
On the one hand she started to lose initiative wars with some classes. On the other hand being able to utilize this item itself was huge advantage. Being able to afford Sandstorm + extra curse was cool.
haha...
on the bright side, i'm learning more and more from these threads that i really do have a fair amount of reasons to do another playthrough someday. I missed a few more people than i thought, and executed a lot of others
>Charged Impetus into Spinning Edge was canceled by a Frenzied Strike >equipping evasive gear and dodging the attack proceeded with the expected order
Genuinely what the FRICK. I'm mad now. Is this some kind of undocumented interaction? A bug?
>Ilenia is Gerard's only child >but Virginia isnher niece, also has the cornian royal blue hair and was in the line of succession directly after Ilenia until Alain was born
I don't get it, wouldn't her parents, presumably one of then being Gerard's sibling, come before her as the rulers? Unless she's Gerard dad's daughter, which would actually make her Ilenia's aunt but she calls Ilenia aunt out of respect for her? This is confusing, too much unexplained backstory
Mine was >Oops, All Archers >Liza with Mirage Shield and Yunifi on frontline >Rolf + 2x Elven Archers in the back
Whatever didn't die to impetus glacial rain usually got pursued or countered to death.
Plenty of damage buffs to go around.
Both physical and magical damage.
Very useful valor skills.
Extremely powerful ranged supports. So powerful that feathergays in Albion just died to them, so I never had to bring anti-blind.
I'm not sure I understand unit comp. If you place a unit in the bottom left sometimes you'll deal only 10 damage, but if you change them to the top right suddenly you can deal like 60 damage. Why is that? I'm not too far in, only about 2 hours. Was there something I missed reading in the tutorial or something?
Honestly I'm really enjoying the game so far, it isn't my typical kind of game but I really enjoyed Tactics Ogre so this is great. I can't wait for 6v6 unit battles with all the skills and passives going off shit will be crazy
For one default targeting makes them target the closest enemy/ally, also moving stuff around resets the RNG seed so for all you know you're critting more in that new scenario.
It's just an insane variation of rng
Swapping units around changenthe dice rolls so maybe you get an extra crit, the enemy misses the attack, they target someone else so they end up doing less damage, etc
I kind of wish they give you a range of damages rather than the exact value, so you don't know what is the result for sure sometimes it is just better to do something else and then come back which resets the RNG
You're quite literally changing who is targeting who. Even if the game had zero RNG, like chess, you would expect to see these results.
Imagine if you could change your moves in chess. You put your queen in a vulnerable position, but you don't like that, so you switch for a pawn instead. Wouldn't that have a big impact? That's what you're doing by changing position in UO.
They made the game the way they wanted it to be played. They don't want homosexual morons scribbling all over it. Port beggar master race, though, right?
>Muramasa >side scrolling beat em up >13 Sentinels >tower defence + VN >Unicorn Overlord >tactics RPG
All different, but made by the same studio, only a moron argues otherwise. >Dont mess with the best if you doubt wanna fet BTFO'd
ESL go home.
How do I make clive go AFTER benerice to max his assaulting lance potential? I want benerice to do following slash first then clive use assaulting lance to refresh AP.
That just hastens Heavy slash, not following slash since that is a react. Ideally clive should go last.
Is there even way to reduce initiative in this game?
Black market vendor sells accessories that increase overall damage resistance at the cost of initiative.
There are also dragonbone weapons in Drakenhold.
I mean if you're wanting him to go after Following Slash specifically, that's never going to be controlled by initiative. You'd need to set some kind of restriction that coincides with it...maybe something HP-based.
The black market dealers do sell initiative-down equipment but again, won't help with this
Oh, excellent idea, I guess I can set it to go <75% HP since I expect benerice to at least be able to hit 25% of HP unless it is a hoplite she is dealing with.
On that note, how does the "go on the first/second/third/... action" condition work? Does it work AFTER that action has passed or does it only work for that specific action/turn?
After the action has passed. Game keeps a record of each character's actions. If a character finally does an action on the 3rd turn of battle, that's considered their 1st action.
>max his assaulting lance potential?
give him yahna, or a buffbot. magic conferral+ asslance will erase any infantry his wild rush doesn't already kill
>Does magick conferral remain for Assaulting lance even after attacking someone?
only for the next attack for yahna, but elven archers have a version that is permanent. honestly you won't really need it with asslance because anything that gets hit by a cav call'd + conferall'd wild rush gets deleted
>max his assaulting lance potential
Give him the belt with the war cry stat that raises his atk for the whole battle
the way buffs are calculated 20% is way more than 20%, so he will be able to oneshot all infantry except hoplites
>Cavs get a 1AP column attack, Griffins get a 1AP row attacker, both devastate everything that doesn't specifically counter those character types >Hit Lv20, unlock some piece of shit 2AP attack that hits twice or does a crappy column attack instead of a row attack, which then gets automatically put on top of the gambit stack
Why do these abilities even exist, they are awful
>No tetas
Basura
elf bawds are meant to be frickbuddies, not the person you ring.
The Unicorn isn’t going to like that.
As long as both ring partners consent, there's no problem.
>Mirage Greatshield can't be upgraded
Fraudulent game
How do I stop myself from mowing everything down with the same 2 groups
Nothing, game isn't hard enough
Nothing, once you figure out the best strats it's hard to go back. Only thing that can hurt you is the timer
stamina and bastoras zerg rushing you from multiple directions
then I'll place my third group to just sit on the flag
they'll zerg rush the walking units
Unironically, learn the game mechanics. It won't feel like a big stinking deal when you land on one good team, if you learn why that team works, and how to make other teams work. I change up constantly out of boredom, takes like 10 minutes unless I'm *really* fricking around.
Make every team broken.
You genuinely suck at team building is all. You can dominate the game with generics if you set them up correctly.
>make a good team
>uhmmm actually you suck at teambuilding
If he's reliant on 2 squads, most likely of the unique characters, yes, they suck at team building. Hence why I mentioned you can dominate with generic mercs if you aren't shit at team building
Generics are often better than uniques unless they have exclusive classes mercs have no access to.
I don't think the people who post things like that guy posted have any sort of self awareness
Stop using Flying units (impossible challenge)
Not that OP on harder difficulties.
Yes it is, just need one unit in the back to take care of the archers.
Only gets even more dumb once you get Aerial Alignment.
Fran's legs are so sexy
They had to give her something since she's flat as a board. Generic Griffon Knights have more lewds than her.
>since she's flat as a board
Thats the best part.
Sorry, my princly wiener was exclusively made for witch hag pussy.
Is TZ hard enough to justify the replay?
No. Aside from the ash being changed, there's no real difference.
If you're the sort of person that regularly abused items to get RNG rerolls, it's much harder since you only have 5 item uses. If you barely used items it's the same thing. I did have a hard time getting the Norbelle end in TZ since I sucked but even I managed to get through the final battle with Cornia only units.
So what was up with this moment? Was it Scarlett talking or does Norbelle also care for Alain?
The last remnants of Scarlett's soul telling Alain to win before she died.
IMO Scarlett was still in there somewhere an managed to regain a bit of control as she died and Norbelle's soul left.
I can say the early game is. The enemy health pools mean a lot. Its also fun to experiment with other strategies. Fire Burst is pretty fun
She's like, barely top-10 best girls.
insane and/or homohomosexual

Doesn't change the fact her mom is a darkie. Apparently children between light and dark elves in that setting are either light elf or dark elf, no mix.

I'm going to get these elf b***hes addicted to my pits.
Nothing can beat the pits.
There are so many good girls in the game, it's hard to choose. Party optimization is fun. It's fun to refine tactics over time.
Filtered
By what? I could have pressed x more until the demo was finished
What was the demo even like? I started with the full game, and it took me some time to get invested, but once I gained more characters, understood the mechanics better, and could form more complex units I was hooked.
its literally the Cornia area with a time limit. I believe if you rescue scarlet before the time limit, the demo ends there.
Note that the time limit was like 7 hours. Pretty generous and probably a big reason why lot of people tried the game out and bought it.
I was honestly sold as soon as the first mission in securing the first port in Cornia was over.
Kind of true for me.
If it was something shorter, like 2-3 missions (Queen intro, the tutorial, Aubin recruit), I don't think I would've gotten a feel for the game or mechanics.
Them allowing you to explore a pretty expansive area with plenty of nooks and crannies helped to sell the game. At least for me
breasts too small.
Made for Ochlys
Melisandre and Leah threesome...
Sex
These two would never accept a threesome. They’d have a violent cat fight
Hot.
Why was the wizard the only traitor general to not get a generic that looked just like him?
who would suffer more if they got cucked, Sharon or Ochyls?
Either way, Ochlys will probably kill you
I'm still undecided, but leaning heavily towards Berengaria, Yahna, or possibly CHLOE
It should only be between Yahna and Chloe
lex, the absolute bro, and Hodrick the chad that is immune to the horny sorcerers vile magics.
But then who does Lex marry? Thats pretty rude, stealing your oldest friends girl
Anon... Lex is already married.
To democracy.
You can't impregnate and cuddle with democracy, anon. Lex deserves a real wife after years of battle and dying repeatedly because he sucks
She may be a generic soldier girl.
But shes MY generic soldier girl.
I wasn't interested in her at all until I started watching her rapport convos the other day, they're all so fricking cute and shes so close with Alain that its hard to say no to her.
But then, theres also characters like this...
sigh...seventh time today...
>I'll show you what a witch can do
>...Oh, was that it?
Imagine the teasing after she makes you cum abnormally hard due to her magick potions and shit
I will marry this giga stacy!
Yes, you will!
Why would you cheat on Ochlys? She is neigh perfection. She has wings.
Cute!
Too busy having a threesome with Virginia and Ilenia.
What’s wrong with benched girl? I just got her
Nothing, it's just hisnpersonal preference. Many other anons like her
not that anon, but i hate her because she forces you to let the slave trader live.
The elves are asking for it.
I didn’t get her because I wouldn’t let her homosexual ass keep torturing people.
Your loss.
frick off with ai slop
I did
We could be brothers if you would move Virginia and Ilenia up a tier.
As sad as it is to lose all her amazing passives, Charged Coin -> Glacial Rain feels too good to ignore.
nah, they're too much like my mom. huge turn off.
Post fun Yunifi builds
>builds
Anything other than cat hood and Charge ice arrow is wasting her potential
I kept her frontline just to trigger her triple counter. Gave her Lucky Coin, Thieves Cloak and +counterattack earrings. Also included angel archer in the team to blind everyone. Oh, and she got Mystic Conferral from elven archer.
It was probably my best team.
EXIT
>Yahna looked at Chloe and realized she has the exact same bodytype as herself underneath the armor

Love dark elves
IEIY
Then at least post one.
Dark elves with dark bluish skin are superior
>elder scroll elves
You and I both know they don't look like that.

They look pretty sometimes in official art and in game they change appearance all the time so it's whatever.
For me, it's Dinah, the best girl who barely anyone cares about
i guess thats true if you don't furgays as people
idk i seen a thread with her take off without a hassle
Plenty of us like foxwife, it's just a couple dedicated autists who get really bootyblasted at just the mention of her. They're probably the ones reporting the threads, too tbh.
i feel like some of them are one of those ironic furries who hate her because she reminds them of a real fox rather than a hot skimpy lady
its weird
I married Chloe since she is the only one you have a child with
Only one where it's explicitly said yoy mean. Yunifi makes it very clear she and Alain will be fricking like rabbits to "expand" their family.
Yea, but Alain and Chloe legit gets a cute princess that is loved by Cornias citizens.

They are kinda ass except in online PvP

Owls are way better than shitty vanilla healers
Clerics heal better and buffs to NPCs mean very little considering you'll often kill them anyway. As another anon said, they're really only useful for online battles
There are Witches with Quick Cast, Owls stop them dead. Clerics are shit. Terrible class outdone by several others
Some anon will retort
>Refresh
And now we come to the actual useless skill, as you should just kill or status things before they can debuff you
Owls and Clerics aren't even the same role moron
The anon asked which is better. I'm telling him Owls are better. They're a better supporting class, and their healing with special staves is enough if you're moronic enough to get hit in the first place.
Owls don't stop you from getting hit anyway so no idea what your point even is
You're not touched, are you, anon?
Glad we could reach an understanding
maybe im setting mines up wrong. she keeps dying to row attacks and my team does better without her
Owls are horrible Healers. They're pretty much a support class and great battery.

>Alain + Blue Rose team literally cannot fight Galerius
>Rosalinde Rage of Faeries + Elf Fencers basically kill him with him being perma stunned and not even being able to activate his shield
What did they mean by this? Why didn't the elves kill Galerius earlier? Are the elves griefing?
Anon, there's a very specific reason that the elves are trying to tempt Alain into polygamy.
Because if you had paid attention to the story, you'd know that the spirit of Galerious just over the body of the person who killed him. The Ring of the Unicorn is needed to permanently kill him since it cleanses the souls of Zenoria
>Average Angel fight.
This area sucks ass, you need clerics to prevent their blinding or multihits.
Your Clearsight Amulets, anon?
They raise accuracy, they don't prevent blindness
What the frick are your items
Are you thinking of spectacles?
>anon shares his fever dream
Clerics can't cure Featherbow blind
Use Elven Archer newbie
Tell him that. He's also claiming Clearsights don't confer blind immunity. Confused lad.
Sorry I love my wife Yahna I'm good
Chloe is even better than Clerics since she revives characters outside of battle while Clerics are stuck with only mid battle revives.
how does she revive them after battle without magic?
Your Valor Points, anon?
only one? i'll stick with the revival orbs. besides shes on my alain team so the group doesnt go down that easily
1hp is all you need depending on what yoy do afterwards and Revival Orbs are limited, Valor skills are unlimited provided you have the Valor available
>Valor skills are unlimited
There's a finite amount of Valor on each map
You can continously build up Valor while there's only a set amount of items in the game then they're gone.
I said outside of battle, with her valor skill that revives all KO'd party members to 1 HP.
Soldiers are a good support class but they don't outshine Clerics when it comes to healing. The only class that comes close are Sainted Knights
Why do the fairies demand that elven fencers dress like this?

>In hindsight this game really fricking loved to throw zombies in your way.
And that's a good thing!
Alignment was kinda hard to manage at times, but being able to deploy a super goody two shoes law aligned squad was fun, liberating towns for good publicity, while the evil, chaos aligned squads made of rapists, werewolves and tax payers handle the fighting head on.
i married yahna because I love yuuki aoi
All Valor points go towards Ren's stamina drain skill
I gave her the ring
Soldier/ elven archer combo is amazing for a support core.
End fight full heal.
Mystic Conferral and Keen call combo is all most classes need to end a fight.
Party wide debuff resistance and removal.
For valor you can aoe revive and aoe heal with rain.
So good.
>map calls it Drakengard
>everyone calls it Drakenhold

They don't want to be sued by Square Enix
So…why didn’t they change the map?
Question, is this game really good? The aesthetic is disappointingly bland for the studio but I think it probably has its charms if I were to get deep into it. Is the game itself good though?
It could have been way better, but it was good enough for me
I don't know what to do anymore in life after finishing this game... DLC never ever
I want to sniff her granny bloomers so bad bros.
How old is she again?

I fricking finally managed to cheese Galarius to death but none of that struggle fricking mattered at all because Baltro rapes all of my units to death even with the special ring skills. I loved this game up until this map but now I fricking despise it.
kill everything with quickcast double Trinity Rain then Alain can last hit Baldro
Baltro is just a meat grinder you weaken with other parties and then throw Alain at once you can finish him off. There are no real gimmicks to it like Galerius, it's just a strong party.
I will never understand how anyone struggles in this game. Do any of you do any sort of grinding?
You kind of invalidated your first sentence with your second. Why the hell would you need to grind? Stats don't even do a whole lot in UO. And I can't imagine anyone getting to Galerius and Baltro without being at least level 35 (when the last skills are unlocked).
>struggling with Baltro
Hahahahahahaha
Bro, just use Fran's Aerial Smite to steal Baltro's AP and he literally can't attack.
>Hrm this team is bad, what if I add a Druid with a large first aid kit to it?
>It now rapes
It's literally that simple.
Druid is unironically broken
Just beat Baltro and married my cousinsister wife. Kino game. Is there any post game or is it over?
There's 2 post game missions you can but that's it
Wait, there's 2? I only got the one in the ruins of Zenoira, what's the other one?
Oh nevermind I thought it was 2 missions but it's just one
Oh well, I was hoping there was still another mission I hadn't done.

What's with the jarring difference in the spoken JP voicelines and the english script?

Why is this game so fricking easy? Playing on the highest difficulty for a first run through, I made it to the final fight of the coliseum with level 24 Alain and 4 other units at levels 20-22. I haven't remotely min-maxed my equipment (it's spread around super haphazardly), and I haven't remotely tried to theorycraft good unit formations.
Is the formation of Alain, Berengaria, Selvie, Rosalinde, and Ithilion is actually good, or is the coliseum piss easy for some reason? It feels wild I'm easily taking out level a level 40 team.
Both.
Alain, Berengaria, Selvie and Rosalinde basically so good on their own each of them can carry a squad.
The coliseum is also easy.
>Someone makes a video about beating the final mission pre Scarlett rescue in TZ
>Watch it out of curiosity
>He rejected Mandrin and Monica for more divine shards to make a trinity rain meme team with less divine shard grinding and he grinded the last sigil until he could get 5 party teams
Sort of makes me feel better about clearing it without trinity rain and just 4 man teams.
>watching other people play video games for him
I just wanted to see what they did differently
Someone wanna tell me what trinity rain is?
An active skill you get from the millennium scepter, a weapon you can buy from the divine shard store. It's a charge attack that hits every enemy party member 3 times with magic. The dedicated trinity rain team is about buffing the character performing the spell and using the cat hood to remove the charge time.
Are Elves the only ones with naturally long lives? Trying to decide who to marry based on that criteria. Like the witch from the swamp, how does she age?
she used magic to deage herself
So she looks like THAT, is a hag, her womb can carry children, will have a normal life span unlike the near immortal elves. Is there a downside to marrying her???
yes, you are taking the wife of your man, Hodrick
You’ll be the victim of grooming and future generations will cancel Yahna’s legacy
You cuck Hodrick
>can carry children
oof
If she reverted her body so hard that when her magic was reverted back to her novice levels then her eggs surely came back as well
She ages normally just used magic to reverse a bit, but she can't do it again and again forever
Yahna will die at a normal human age but her body won’t age physically
Perfect for breeding and marriage
Yahya dies shortly after the end of the game
I'm not so sure about "shortly" after. She could have lived out a full life with her younger body before going.
Don't trust the English localization. Verify in other languages first.
Nothing in that screenshot implies she died soon after the ending. The opposite, since they say she "maintained" her young appearance implying it was notable she didn't look older.
She also says that she won't be able to do it again, this new, fertile body is her last.
Is this game actually good? I keep seeing it pop up and it's rare for something like this to get this much traction here these days
.
It's sovlful
Modern classic
Yes. It's basically the spiritual successor to Ogre Battle 64/MotBQ. It's only major issue is that it's too easy and there's no new game plus
CUTE
CUTE
CUTE
Sucks this game has no ng+. It gives you all these fun units postgame with nothing to do with them, what a fricking blunder.
It looks better on my bewitching hag wife hand.
>120 hours
This game was pretty long. Too long to replay tbh.
I wonder if I should give FE Engage another go now that dlc is out.
They quite literally ran out of money and were being funded solely by Kamitani.
What was his problem? Is he gay???
His problem is that you didn't behead his ass like the chad you were meant to be.
A simp like you would never understand. Auch was more concerned with self improvement than chasing pussy
there was nothing to chase, pussy came straight at him

>Liza frontlining with the frostbloom bow, mirage greatshield, royal scarf, and lucky coin
holy...
Why the lucky coin?
I think he might be using the woodpecker crossbow with its bonus crit damage that has a 3 hit unique attack.
Oh wait nevermind, he outright said frostbloom bow. Dunno why he's using the coin though
I mean...the Coin is just a straight up better version of the scarf. Why not?
Well some other character might need it more than her.
Eh, it just collects dust normally. On a real crit build eyepatches are just as good.
Shieldshooters being dodge tanks if you equip them right is one of the funniest things since their dodge is just them slightly leaning to the side.
A lot of classes can be dodge tanks in this game, even Clerics hilariously enough. Thrives and flying units just take less to get it done.

True. She’s like a small ant hill
Women should have large breasts
Flat are large I like women all the same
Cute girls like Fran look better with smaller boobs

>Go through the ending sequence with Chloe
>Chloe: "I AM HELPING! SOMEHOW!"
It feels so weird how she seems to be winging it in the end. She's quite literally been with you from the start and has seen fricking everything. She should at the very least have some understanding about what she's pulling off with the ring.
How the frick is she supposed to know? She ain't the twins or Yahna. Magic ain't her department.
It's an attempt to make her seem more "real." Any attempt to be all profound would end up with a Neil Armstrong-tier delivery.
>oh shit, this is supposed to be a deep & meaningful moment that the two of us will look back on for the rest of our lives
>*proceed to flub the lines I had prepared in my head*
>get sick of reputation grinding
>just spend a couple of hours maxing it in the tavern
>100s of support conversations all over the map
Frick me, this game has too much content. I'm 100+ hours in and I just want to finish it.
How did the Ring of the Maiden end up with the elves anyway? Isn't it a cornian treasure?
I rung her but I was this close to banging my cousin. This game has a dozen girls that would be best girl in another game. Goddamn.
>unicorn overlord thread get prunned or deleted
Well it’s our fault for just not making another thread about trannies or “woke” shit
>Specified thread does not exist
The Unijannies were displeased with talks of polygamy
Again?
For anons who did the Norbelle run, how do you bridge the massive level gap between the pre-Eucuit towns and the pre-Gran Corrine battles? Do you just slowly grind up EXP books?
I fricking hate this stupid mining minigame. JUST GIVE ME THE FRICKING TREASURE MAPS ALREADY
I too am a 30+ year old gamer
a skill issue no less
Its so random. Sometimes you get to play for minutes at the time, sometimes its over before you even realize.
Playthrough Inspection here
Just checking that across all playthoughs of our game you have given the ring to the same maiden every time.
What? You thought my curse only applied for one save file?
Bro after you clear you don't even have to give the ring to the same maiden in the same save file.
why does that unicorn sound like a woman?
If only all the mining spots had a chance to give fevrite
Does Clive fall off really hard later in the game or something like that?
I'm 20 hours in so far and he's been consistenly my best unit so far due to how much damage he's able to shit out every turn.
Cav stack is pretty good outside of when it's hard countered by something.
Great Knights do fall off to some degree later on, my Knight unit was pretty much the "oh shit" carry unit early on but later not anymore. They're still decent and useful up to the end but other units definitely outstrip them in sheer murder might.
they never fall off, you just need to adapt their team and it still kicks ass
I ran them with Selvie to apply sandstorm and Rolf to handle fliers. They steamrolled everything from Cornia to Albion.
Creature
This thing radiates threatening levels of cuteness. I couldn't keep the shop menu open for more than a couple seconds at a time
Oh no….is he gonna do what I think he’s gonna do with that thing?
You could probably stick it all the way through if you were large enough. Literally ass to mouth.

I mean he's wearing heels too.

That got her Alain points so it's a smart move.
Railanor is not very bright
She thought Rosalinde telling her to take care of herself meant that it was ok to cuck her.

Casual
Tantric sex sessions that leave you both physically and spiritually fulfilled on all levels. You will nut your very soul out if you're not prepared.
I'm guilty of sleeping on Selvie in favor of more royal girls. She seems kinda frumpy, do you guys really think she'd be a good queen?
>thick thighs
>fat ass
>wide hips
>huge breasts
She's built like a brickhouse. No part of her is frumpy. Also she makes a better Queen than Berengaria which is saying a lot since even an autistic NEET doesn't manage to get fired by her husband.
>Also she makes a better Queen than Berengaria
I'm mad they marketed her as one of the "main" girls then gave her a meme ending.

Where's that from? I swear I don't remember seeing it in any of her rapports.
Where's the Pursuit boosting lance? Is there even one?
I really wish that the game had a central trading hub with all the shops you unlocked having inventory in one place.
The Glaive? I think I got it somewhere near the end of Elfheim and the start of Bastorias
Your options are
>hastened cast from Magia Heart
>use Yahna instead as at lvl25 she gets quick cast which saves you a slot and 1pp at the expense of her already meagre crit
>some convoluted PP/AP conditions that will make quick impetus ignore everyone until auch
Wait is or just called glaive? No wonder I missed it, it has no clues given like hunters halberd/Claymore as to it's passive boost
Slap two feathers on him
I had Celeste in the back row with him.
Who should I marry him to?
Melisandre, of course.
>Of France
It was over before it even began
His cousin as would be historically accurate
angel pussy…
What about it Sharon?
Who should get the wingcrest blade?
Anyone who wants the extra passive point and has an already low crit chance. Radiant Knights are a decent candidate, assuming they aren't already using the Runic swords.
"wow, my guy needs more PP and I don't mind if he can't do rare crits with his 15% crit rate"
Many such cases.
I ringed the superior elf.
But I don’t see Ridiel?

She's been forgiven since week 1 after gays found out Clive was democracygay
For cucking Clive, yes? For being an opportunist who uses Alain's affection towards her for her own personal gain? No. Still a b***h, still worst girl.
>Alain, it's time to give me more land~
I will never forgive the cav units switching their horse's stance to a lame boring one after upgrade.
Aside from getting comfortable with things that just work, the sheer amount of options have left me with several unexplored builds even while I'm in end game.
Haven't used many different units and only just now at lvl 40 decided on a Dragoon Dive setup because of the Wingline Standard. It's great, probably should have done it earlier and will do so on a TZ playthrough.
>backline Ridiel with pumped up initiative to grant Mystic Conferral for a bit of extra damage and as the quick impetus user
>backline owl with Dirty Gambler's coin for physical attack and crit damage as well as to cuck any quick cast witch
>Fran with Angel Plume and Lamplight Ring, giving accuracy that with the Standard completely cancels out Wide Inspiration penalty, stops blind, grants my flying offense in the front row 20 initiative while also exhausting enough PP that my condition for quick impetus passes her over in favor of the dragoon dive user
>Generic wyvern with Dragoon lance and heavens wyvern reins for stats/true strike/damage boost
>Hilda with the Standard, Glaive, and Outlaw Bracelet so that wide pursuit helps clean up what little survives
What's a good use/setup with Celestial Talisman?
Wait there are actually some contrarians in this thread pretending that Scarlett isn't the best girl? Just because she is the obvious girl to marry? These morons think that they're smart or have interesting tastes for not picking the main girl, while they're actually the complete opposite, can't even think for themselves.
She has no personality outside of jealously and insecurity
Main girl? Sure
Best girl? Nah
Even the game seems to have an incredibly fun time giving her a hard time about having so much competition.
>best
Hmmm no, that's not right.
She's the best cuckqueen, yeah.
sorry sir, she's too bland
Name a more useless item than cleric medallions
What's funny to me, is that Clerics are the last class that wants it.
Guard's Shield, the Quick Guard shield.
Onyx Pendant
At least cleric medallion won't actively get you killed by assists.
Used that on my Shaman together with two Plumes to fix the Initiative. Other than that Shaman uses practically no other skills.
On the one hand she started to lose initiative wars with some classes. On the other hand being able to utilize this item itself was huge advantage. Being able to afford Sandstorm + extra curse was cool.
>finished the game
It's over...
Fodo had it rough. But he also had time to come up with this.
>that animation
amazing
wait a minute, is that the head of the Rock Rats? That guy killed himself in my file....
Did you not recruit Nina?
haha...
on the bright side, i'm learning more and more from these threads that i really do have a fair amount of reasons to do another playthrough someday. I missed a few more people than i thought, and executed a lot of others
Should've let Nina talk to him.
>Charged Impetus into Spinning Edge was canceled by a Frenzied Strike
>equipping evasive gear and dodging the attack proceeded with the expected order
Genuinely what the FRICK. I'm mad now. Is this some kind of undocumented interaction? A bug?
Just tested this in a mock battle. Counter skills really do cancel Charged Impetus. Why the shit don't they ever mention that?
Hag
>this is now your queen
How would you react?
Kill myself knowing I will never frick a beautiful woman
His majesty will surely have robust heirs
i would be happy we got arenas with battle girls at every region
I would feel like I should start referring to Alain as Queen or I'd be disrespecting her
Nah she doesn't want a b***h as her man. She makes that very clear to Alain. Hell she only marries him after he beats her in a fight 1v1. She's a sub.
She could smoother by whole face with that pit...
I was gonna go with her or fox
Either way, I win.
For the flirtatious character, I preferred Melisandre. Shame her design is so generic
>Ilenia is Gerard's only child
>but Virginia isnher niece, also has the cornian royal blue hair and was in the line of succession directly after Ilenia until Alain was born
What was your best squad, anons?
Mine was
>Oops, All Archers
>Liza with Mirage Shield and Yunifi on frontline
>Rolf + 2x Elven Archers in the back
Whatever didn't die to impetus glacial rain usually got pursued or countered to death.
For one default targeting makes them target the closest enemy/ally, also moving stuff around resets the RNG seed so for all you know you're critting more in that new scenario.
sometimes it passives activating. sometimes your unit kills a armored enemy so hte other one can hit the backlines
How difficult would it be to ROM hack this thing? It just seems like the PERFECT platform to make harder difficulty modes
Apparently its encryption is such a nightmare that everyone who wanted to attempt it gave up fast.
I wish those japanese ceos choke to death on a black wiener
Why did it have to be switch only?
Did VW at least say they might include custom?
Its on PS4 and 5 too anon. What do you mean by custom? Custom difficulties? It honestly looks like the game is done.
I mean like user created custom maps and stages and stuff. It just seem like an excellent platform for online sharing
They made the game the way they wanted it to be played. They don't want homosexual morons scribbling all over it. Port beggar master race, though, right?
>muramasa at home
Not even the same genre you gay
You dumbasses called 13 sents a vn so Unicorn is one aswell by proxy
Dont mess with the best if you doubt wanna fet BTFO'd
>Muramasa
>side scrolling beat em up
>13 Sentinels
>tower defence + VN
>Unicorn Overlord
>tactics RPG
All different, but made by the same studio, only a moron argues otherwise.
>Dont mess with the best if you doubt wanna fet BTFO'd
ESL go home.
13S is a VN moron
According to the vndb jannies it isn't
That's because they got assblasted that people liked it, for all intents and purposes 13S IS a VN. You have to be utterly delusional to say otherwise
Amalia and her foot long penis art where
I know it exists
babymaking seggs with cornian princes
Chloe pls
Best girl
Why are there still threads about this game that hit bump limit?
It's not that popular
Autism and bait
Its a good game with good gameplay and good waifus. That invites discussion.
morons with nothing better to do
The game's good, the game's fun.
What other games scratch the itch? I heard troubleshooters was pretty good
How do I make clive go AFTER benerice to max his assaulting lance potential? I want benerice to do following slash first then clive use assaulting lance to refresh AP.
Uh, make her faster?
That just hastens Heavy slash, not following slash since that is a react. Ideally clive should go last.
Is there even way to reduce initiative in this game?
Give Clive those black market shackles to lower his speed while reducing the damage he takes
Does magick conferral remain for Assaulting lance even after attacking someone? or does it end after hitting once?
>Does magick conferral remain for Assaulting lance even after attacking someone?
only for the next attack for yahna, but elven archers have a version that is permanent. honestly you won't really need it with asslance because anything that gets hit by a cav call'd + conferall'd wild rush gets deleted
>max his assaulting lance potential
Give him the belt with the war cry stat that raises his atk for the whole battle
the way buffs are calculated 20% is way more than 20%, so he will be able to oneshot all infantry except hoplites
>Cavs get a 1AP column attack, Griffins get a 1AP row attacker, both devastate everything that doesn't specifically counter those character types
>Hit Lv20, unlock some piece of shit 2AP attack that hits twice or does a crappy column attack instead of a row attack, which then gets automatically put on top of the gambit stack
Why do these abilities even exist, they are awful
