Both of them yeah.

Magellan - desert area
Their quests are both available immediately after the first actual Drakenhold battle.
>give the ring to Mordon >at first he thinks I want advice >then he's just confused >then he thinks I'm joking >finally "Well shit, I guess I'm gay now. *Bends over*"
Took you long enough.
I've not looked at the credits but it has to be the same VA. Hell half her voiced lines sound like they could've just been lifted from Cyberpunk because she's another merc talking about merc work again.
Cause the game gives you a choice to marry just about anyone and people have wildly differing tastes. Also side characters are most often better anyway.
>implying the shopkeeper e-girls aren't enough
I actually prefer it this way, even as a raving e-girlcon. This game leans more towards "realism" with age, so the bottom limit seems to be 15.
>mfw track that plays when you are liberating capital of drakenhold
Absolute kino level. Clearing the streets of all those enemies while that is playing. Could have just cheesed it and sent my flier squad to kill the boss immediatelly
>fantastic music >actual feeling of insane scale since you're fending off a gigantic force >squads leveling up left and right >Virginia asking to kill the enemy leader to own drakengardians as if it's a competition
Yeah but that's not as fun as setting up more barricades and using a fast squad as bait to nail those catapult shots
In fact I was really close to getting the enemy leader while doing all that but I ended up killing too many troops
I used barricades a few times before realizing the Gravity Valor skill basically does the same thing and only costs 1 point, so you can just use a Hallowed Corne Ash and get a net extra point instead of using your item.
If you're talking about the castle with the city at the bottom, that one is neat too but I liked the coliseum one more
I did like how the castle is at the top of a weaving road with catapults and watchtowers along the way, it's pretty minot but it helped sell how it holds a very good defensive position
I married a strong woman. She use to work in conservation in hawaii. She use to break rocks and clear jungle for a living. Dominating strong women in bed is fricking hot. You weak men will never understand.
Any characters who especially benefit from Mirrors besides Selvie for stat changing purposes? Can't decide whether to use these for aesthetics or not until I can buy them permanently.
If I want my druid to debuff both rows, can I do one curse with "row with most combantants" and "row with least combatant" and the condition 2 not debuffed for the first skill? I'm in a battle right now otherwise I'd do a mock battle to test myself
There's just one thing about it, is that its only in japanese since I couldn't find an English uploded version of it. Also, its pretty huge when you unzip because of the uncompressed pngs
There's only one track that isn't (technically) a part the 16 collection but I left it in anyway. There was another track but that was just static nose, the base files are also left in, if you want to do your own conversion

It really makes you FEEL like you're programming.
the owl restore has got to be the most inconsistent and confusing skill in the entire game, it just feels like it randomly doesn’t work on some skills sometimes
I honestly think being a programminglet can be a boon in this game. I still understand how to get my team to do exactly what I need, but I'm not trying to perfect it and fill out every row with a skill. I do 2-4 conditionals per skill max in any given battle and just tweak things when it stops working.
>The bill was a versatile weapon that could be used for a variety of purposes on the battlefield. Its long reach and hooked blade made it effective for pulling enemy cavalry from their horses, while its sharp blade and pointed tip made it effective against infantry.
oh neat, I guess that explains her bonus damage on cavs
What a ride. >two bases you have to defend basically the entire time >thorns everywhere >watchtowers everywhere >flying units everywhere >reinforcements everywhere >siege weapons everywhere (although those probably did me more good than harm) >two bases you have to defend after you take them to prevent the b***h from teleporting >b***h hits and defends like a fricking tank
The "boss fights" in each continent are so fun, everything else is relatively easy by comparison.
>Finally get Virginia >Good personality >Checks her class >Uses 2 shields so I can’t equip any accessories >11 initiative so she attacks last which makes her attacks against gryphon’s and armored units useless since the party can’t attack the backline anymore because they don’t have any ap left
Does she get any “better”? Or do people only like her for her model and incest?
If all my characters are lvl 9 but I'm still low rank C renown will I be missing a lot of skills by not having access to promotions yet ? If its a big deal I can just reload an old save.
>Keep seeing thread after thread of anons talking up Virginia as the best girl who is amazing and lovable and putting down Monica as the worst girl in the game because she won't forgive Clive and wants to torture him over what he did >Almost done with Elheim and I have yet to see a single goddamn Virginia scene that isn't her just putting down everyone around her and being a humongous b***h who can barely conceal that she detests everyone around her, and this is the ONLY thing she does so I don't know where the frick did people take her being a deep character from >Very first Monica/Clive rapport scene is her saying that she understands what he did now and won't hold a grudge and they're cool
At this point I can only ask...
Are you all fricking moronic? Good lord, I've seen few characters as unlikable and shallow as Virginia, meanwhile the character I was being warned about immediately denies what I was warned about in her most basic and obvious conversation
I posted her in part to show how Virginia COULD be good, but she's only relatively similar in appearance and skills
Honestly if you fused Scarlett with Berenice or something like that you'd get much closer to actual Saber
>Almost done with Elheim and I have yet to see a single goddamn Virginia scene that isn't her just putting down everyone around her and being a humongous b***h who can barely conceal that she detests everyone around her
This is a positive, though?
Virginia was a teenage girl that had to flee her home and survive by herself, there wasn't a Josef to help or guide her. She woke up one day and everyone in her family are presumed dead and the people they trusted betrayed them.
She has hyper independence and trusts no one because she had no one.
Out of options she submitted to Drakonhold's Prince Gilbert (Drakonhold being a rival of Cornia) for protection in shame
The moment she heard Prince Alain was alive and retook Eucit, she comes out of the shadows just enough to give Josef's scouts a notice.
What does she do after she confirms Alain is alive? jump ship and join immediately. She wants the debt to Gilbert repaid and back to the brass tax of liberating Cornia.
Virginia faced true desolation and never gave up hope, always plotting a way to restore her family to their rightful seat.
So no Anon, she is not "shit", she is the rightful queen.
>Ask yourselves what do the other candidates have in order to deserve the seat as Queen of Cornia?
Binds to another nation.
Which you would also get by letting Virginia marry Gilbert, so by marrying her yourself you're fricking up your kingdom twice as hard.
>giving Drakonhold's heir a claim to the Cornian throne
Political marriage is good if you have a confirmed heir already. Not having one and giving Gilbert a head start on succession is dumb.
Your family is down to you and Virginia. Splitting it up sets you up for a 100 year succession war down the line.
Well... >Scarlett: Matrimony into the royal line of Albion, double serving of speshul bloodline superpowers. >Melisandre: Ties into an illustrous noble family of Cornia. >Yahna: Your children will get the best magical education in the kingdom. >Amelia: The line of Cornia will be chad giants from now on. >Ochlys: The line of Cornia will be angels. >Any of the elves: The line of Cornia now lives far longer and also has ties to Elheim. >Any of the funny animal people: The line of Cornia is now hairier, and also has ties to Bastorias.
>Virginia: The line of Cornia is now inbred. You also gain no ties at all with any of the other nations.
Also what are you guys fricking smoking about "But what if Virginia and Gilbert's son inherits"? Yeah no shit? If Alain died and it was Virginia who had to inherit, you guys realize she'd have to pop out SOMEONE's child anyway, right? In fact Virginia marrying Alain would be even worse, because then only one family needs to die to end the whole bloodline, instead of Virginia at least being somewhere else to claim the throne if something happened. Not that it will because Alain beats the game and then there's peace and everyone loves him and yadda yadda.
>It's okay for Gilbert's family to claim the Cornian throne >The whole war waged for Cornian Restoration ends in a generation.
Have it your way anon, nothing wrong with being a drakonian b***h state
>>It's okay for Gilbert's family to claim the Cornian throne
It's also Virginia's family, you know? This isn't a game of Crusader Kings, you don't suddenly get a fricking game over screen because your heir happens to also have the surname of another player. Alain dying is already the worst possible scenario to begin with, and if that happened, Virginia being his wife makes it even worse.
Her Rapport conversations are nice. It's clear that she really, really cares about Alain. Also has an S tier confession scene and is a really good unit in gameplay.
You need to understand that Virginia is constantly sticking her ass out and this pose is the real reason people like. Anything else is just them trying to justify it.
What kind of party do they work well with? Tempted to put them with a gladiator or something. I get annoyed using gladiator's because they either finish a fight with full health or get completely murdered, but maybe shamans would help with that.
the colosseum is really funny >Almost reach the grand champion match on the colosseum >get skill checked by the royal knights because i don't have a wyvern with dragoon dive + Ice conferral
can't even try the thief cheese since they have 2 truestrike units with lots of AP
Bros I get unreasonably mad when I activate a valor skill for my team or to target the enemy and I missplace it missing 1 target. It's making me mad that I have no aim..
You know what I hate even more? When the enemies are positioned juuussst sssooo on a map so there's no possible way you can hit all of them with an aoe. I mean, good work programmers, but also, frick you.
shamans are honestly fricking busted
some classes are clearly strong and some are clearly trash, but shaman is just head and shoulders above the rest
See: Hexer from the Etrian Odyssey series.
Busted in all games it appeared in other than the first one because of the class unlocking after you're done with like 60% of the game and grinding up a new unit is a severe test of patience.
I'm still not seeing it. Tried one in my offensive heavy teams in first Elfheim map and was still getting 50%+ damage suicide forecasts without proper setup. Just seems like another contextually useful thing.
Meanwhile in the blonde big titty Gryph map, my under-par, unpromoted Gryph/dual Swordfighters/Rosaline squad is wiping half the map and taking 0 damage.
They oneshot shit before it can move, and never miss. I'm told they fall off or whatever, but they've done fantastic in Drakenhold and Elfheim so far. The big knock against them is they lack AoE, but who cares for something that consistently potent and reliable. It's a guaranteed kill before the other side can even move.
Literally in the map I described, they take out the entire front row of rogues before anything else can happen. They're unpromoted and underleveled, mind. Gryph freezes back row for stall, they set up for round 2 with carn pendants, and Rosalinde is usually just the icing on the top after buffing them with Gambler's Coin.
>They oneshot shit before it can move
Maybe on normal mode.

Expert, copeanon. I can give you the math. They're not good for everything. Guard heavy units are a problem. But for stuff that is hard to hit and normal infantry, they frick.

>and normal infantry
So like any other class?
They are good against scouts and that's about it. They can't even activate their parry against fliers.
Anonymous
They kill fliers, thieves, and just about anything without guarding abilities before it can move. No other class does this as consistently and as easily. Am I saying they're the best? No. Just that anons are being incredibly histrionic about their supposed shortcomings. Provided their damage can be sufficiently buffed, they're deterministic kill buttons.
i mean you can just use a gryphon with wyvern reins and it'll destroy that entire row of rogues by itself and then some more
3 months ago
Anonymous
That shit costs a lot. Everyone knows Gryphs are busted. It isn't all or nothing, it's a squad-based game. All a member of a squad needs to do is justify their placement and score the kill reliably and that's it. No points for anything extra.

Yeah, and then you fight frontlines other than rogues and they can't do shit. Even flyers, which they should be good against because they have a true strike, have wyverns with a melee parry move.
Meanwhile, they are squishy and even a bunch of "melee" strikes get to ignore parry.
Bastorias is full of beefy frontlines of Bears, Angel land has featherbows every three squads blinding your swordmaster during the hit (so can't dispel)

They handle all non-guard infantry so far. Why do people keep pretending there are do-all units in this game? Even cavalry struggle with fliers.
Anonymous
>Even cavalry struggle with flyers
Cavalry is weak against flyers who do heavy damage, like gryphs and wyverns, but Bastorias and Albion has mostly supportive and tank flyer units, so even your knights trample them.
I mean, what is exactly the thing that swordmaster does that no one else could? They are a meme one target damage fragile melee that also has a ramp mechanic.

I already told you they hit dodgegays before they get an action. This game is about manipulating initiative and actions in various ways. You can attack first and kill, freeze, debuff rendering enemies useless in various ways, etc.
It's the combination of things you do that matter, so it's hard to generalize about what a class does in isolation. They would be shit without Gryph back row freeze support/anti-Cav, for example, but BECAUSE I have a Gryph AND freeze support, it ends up being a valuable squad with multiple avenues of shutdown.
People are praising the braindead setups (cav stack) because they're obvious, but the only thing that matters is that it works. And this works. So far.
Anonymous
>I already told you they hit dodgegays before they get an action
Which plenty of classes can do? You're beating thieves in initiative with Rapid Order and other debuffs/buffs, too. >They would be shit without Gryph back row freeze support/anti-Cav, for example, but BECAUSE I have a Gryph AND freeze support
Literally any class will do good with "gryph and freeze support" if that support is landing without the enemy squad interrupting. In fact, classes that freely get 1 AP on kills sweep better than Swordfighter, which requires 2 PP for 1 AP. That's the point. If a sellsword had "gryphon and frozen enemies" to wail on, he's also not missing, and doing twice the damage swordfighter does.
Anonymous
>Swordfighter, which requires 2 PP for 1 AP
??? what
Again, it's the combination that counts, the game is very modular, so lots of things work, yes. The real goal is to win the action battle - spend all your AP and PP and stop them spending theirs. Everything else is extraneous, fluff.
I never said Sellswords are bad, I haven't experimented with the much yet. I do know they're slow and they miss a lot, so they have weaknesses, which must be accounted for in a versatile squad. Swordfighters also have weaknesses which must be accounted for in a versatile squad. Hell, Gryphs have weaknesses which must be accounted for in a versatile squad. Everything has a counter and what's really important is building with that in mind.
You can keep saying "everyone can do this" (not true, every class CANNOT one shot promoted Rogues 100% of the time before they move), but it literally doesn't matter. The result is what matters. I might post some webms/screens next video to make it clear what I'm doing.
Shamans alone can't do anything, but with the right setup they can negate the weaknesses of many classes.
The fix low initiative and blocking, which is the biggest issue most classes have.
>Game hypes the frick out of Amelia. >Use her in the very first fight of Another Prince. >Her health goes all the way down to zero and she loses the fight.
I mean I guess I do want her? More for the novelty than how she proved herself though. Hope at least she has a good unit leader effect.

He's right though. If you aren't playing a shitter difficulty then you actually have to adjust tactics and formations. With fire emblem just slap the best weapon for the fight and go.
UO is more gameplay than most FE games, I'll give you that, but the actually good ones (where you can't just plant a juggernaut with a Hand Axe/Javelin/tome in a chokepoint and clear the map on enemy phase) still blow UO out of the water in terms of map design, positioning, strategies, and long term army planning.

>But design of encounters and maps is different than actual systems and mechanics
It's all still a part of gameplay though, I just disapprove of the notion that FE is an autobattler when the core gameplay is the strategy aspect and not the actual fighting animations. It's different from UO where the meat of the gameplay is setting up tactics and skills on your units for their fights, the actual maps and strategies required are on the weaker side compared to say, OB, outside some cool maps.
One thing I particularly love about UO though is how powerful items are and the variety you have available, I'd actually love to see things like that in FE.
He's right though. If you aren't playing a shitter difficulty then you actually have to adjust tactics and formations. With fire emblem just slap the best weapon for the fight and go.
I don't know about the latest ones since I quit at Awakening, but the FEs I've played also were just "walk units one into another and watch them duke it out wihout further input". In this at least you have to set up your tactics, so that's at least some more interactivity with the combat system.

FE is an autobattler. You can't micromanage your character once your toon attacks the enemy toon
I've replied to similar reductionist posts on FE a few threads back and I'll reply again. In FE, being an SRPG, there are so many things to consider in a battle such as movement and attack range, positioning, flanking, map awareness, impassible terrains, weapon rock paper scissor, etc. You don't simply assemble a squad to counter enemies and then press 1 button to take a back seat and enjoy the ensuing automatic cinematic battle animations like in UO. You actually have to play the battle. Even on the hardest difficulty, UO is still piss easy compared to any FE, you'll notice this if you actually play any FE game instead of being a UO tribalist Black person.

Muramasa, honestly. It's one of their games that I bought on every platform. Even platinumed it on vita.
That 1hp/3 hour run on highest difficulty was an absolute blast
13 sentinels was fun as well, but a bit worse than OS rerelease
Original Odin Sphere was clunky as frick, to say they've never made a bad game is to deny how much they've improved. Just play the base game muramasa characters and the DLC characters and you'll notice how much more fun the dlc characters were gameplaywise.

Ogre Battle 64 was one of the first games I rented because it looked so cool and I still have a weird nostalgia for it.

swordmasters honestly suck, they're supposed to be a damage dealer but they can't even do aoe and they don't even do singletarget damage well since they get shut down by high defense and block
this is story is so bad it's almost insulting, the gameplay isn't even good. Ok, some designs are cool and a bit on the coomer side which is good but only that isn't enough. I wish you all a good game I'm out

How does the combat flow in this game after you get 2+ AP?
Do you act in turns? One AP each. And after the unit with the lowest initiative has moved, the highest goes to go again?
Or do you roll for initiative once, and then the fastest unit will empty all of their AP at once, and then move onto the second fastest unit?
everyone gets to take their turn, even the slowest dude. unless you stunned or froze them
this is why 2ap skills that have higher potency are generally more valuable than 1ap skills, you want to hit hard from the get-go or else you give the enemy a chance to fight back
a carnelian pendant for promoted classes usually allows them to open with a powerful 2ap skill then have 1ap left in reserve in case they need to clean up. some classes like doom knight can feed themselves ap too, then they don't really need the pendant
I see. I'm still at 1AP, but I was thinking about the characters synergy, and setting up wombo combos. But faster characters might be able to benefit from debuffers, if they act after the attack, etc. Unless there are "turns".
faster characters will go before debuffs and waste them. it's one of the smaller reasons why swordmasters suck. they can actually benefit from shamans doing defense down and guard seal, but the shaman must be incredibly fast, probably needs a raven plume to outspeed the swordmaster and put the debuff down first
only way to do it is to lower their initiative with equipment. dragonbone weapons lower initiative by -10, then there's shackle accessories that give damage reduction in exchange for 10, 15 or 20 initiative
You have a set amount of AP. Some skills cost more. I think the most expensive skill costs four. You go in initiative order, and what your character uses is based on tactics. You continue until both sides are out of AP.
Guys I need help making my all angel team not shit. I have Ochly and Ochlys, Umerus amd Raenys as tank/dps with Selvie and Sharon as support/debuff. And they simply do not do enough damage to kill before the counter.
You know, I'm someone who thinks Feathersword is a great class, but using two on the same team just sounds bad. Ochlys + Gilbert is usually really good though.

Because she's a fricking beast. I had most of my ranged supports as team leaders, so I just chip damaged her to death with a pile of teams.
non-flyers can stand inside the blue outlined forests to be immune to assists. use berengaria's provoke valor skill to pull the archer off the tower because they won't come to you otherwise
it pulls ballistas and catapults too. extremely useful in those siege battles. or you can use a beckoning bell, the game shits out a ton of those and removing a dangerous tower/ballista/catapult is often the key to an easy victory
Do "target the unit with lowest [stat]" tactics conflict with each other?
Like, if I set "lowest HP" and "lowest P.Def" at the same time, but the enemy with the lowest HP has high P.Def, who will the attack target? Is it a coinflip?
Should I avoid putting multiple tactics which don't just prioritize, but pinpoint a single target?
Alain marries virginia because he has a long term eugenics program in mind. Please understand, it's easier to keep the traits when your family already has them.
Enough about icky girls
Let's discuss MEN
who clawed at him
Which man would you bromance?
You're not a homosexual who'd ditch your bros for some pussy, right anon?
This guy and Megellan look based, are they both recruitable in Drakenhold? Gonna drop Berenice for them asap.
Yeah both are recruitable in Drakenhold.
Both of them yeah.
Jeremy - cliffside area
Magellan - desert area
Their quests are both available immediately after the first actual Drakenhold battle.
Their upgraded versions look way better than the silly female forms that's for sure.
>Enough about icky girls
>Not wanting to frick both women and men

Took you long enough.
I keep expecting her to call me choomba.
Oh is that why she sounds so familiar?
I've not looked at the credits but it has to be the same VA. Hell half her voiced lines sound like they could've just been lifted from Cyberpunk because she's another merc talking about merc work again.
>draw a man
>call it a girl
Why won't anyone marry her?
Drills are too small
Cause the game gives you a choice to marry just about anyone and people have wildly differing tastes. Also side characters are most often better anyway.
I'm going to marry her but max rapport all the girls afterwards
Who you callin' anyone? I'm marrying the shit outta Scarlett
Yes, women will never understand the manly hobby of banging swords with your bro

Wow I don’t know what UO thread to choose but I love how they’re somewhat adjacent to each other.
It's this one. The other one is already dogshit 5 posts in, 50% bait posts.

Not even fricking once, let that other thread die.
Use the Berenice thread anon. Dark elf bawd gets plenty of love, let some other girls shine too.

Yes I would, I love Berenice. Execution Chain is the fricking coolest.
This thread is a no-bullying Scarlett zone
OHOHOHOHOHO

Calling an Albian hoe an Albian hoe is not bullying.
I love my moronic spoiled childhood friend
How to recruit Norbelle?
Yes, but the superior one
Isn't she a different class?
Yes.
Can't wait to get to level 40 so i can actually use her
Just cheese the arena anon
You don't understand. I already have her, but my team is only level 29.
I'm not going to field an OP units right now.
zaaaako
stop that
I like how Alain is looking up here.
Reminder she won't say yes until you beat her ass in this scene.
Buddy, I love several.

FRICKING FINALLY
>the only e-girl is a shopkeeper
>people will find her and rule34 her
And people wonder why this hobby is grouped in with degenerates
It's honestly so refreshing.
>implying the shopkeeper e-girls aren't enough
I actually prefer it this way, even as a raving e-girlcon. This game leans more towards "realism" with age, so the bottom limit seems to be 15.
are there special events for your waifu outside of the ring scene and rapports?
Yeah, the final battle and ending
>mfw track that plays when you are liberating capital of drakenhold
Absolute kino level. Clearing the streets of all those enemies while that is playing. Could have just cheesed it and sent my flier squad to kill the boss immediatelly
What setup? I had to climb the mountain the hard way since my fliers couldn't take the boss.
>fantastic music
>actual feeling of insane scale since you're fending off a gigantic force
>squads leveling up left and right
>Virginia asking to kill the enemy leader to own drakengardians as if it's a competition
Yeah but that's not as fun as setting up more barricades and using a fast squad as bait to nail those catapult shots
In fact I was really close to getting the enemy leader while doing all that but I ended up killing too many troops
I just realized I have never used barricades, mines, mantles etc .
I used barricades a few times before realizing the Gravity Valor skill basically does the same thing and only costs 1 point, so you can just use a Hallowed Corne Ash and get a net extra point instead of using your item.
that's a different level
If you're talking about the castle with the city at the bottom, that one is neat too but I liked the coliseum one more
I did like how the castle is at the top of a weaving road with catapults and watchtowers along the way, it's pretty minot but it helped sell how it holds a very good defensive position
Favorite battlefield theme.
dayum, son

Alain wants a harem?
These thighs are tempting me away from the promised land, but I must be strong for Vegeeta
Don't, cousin has delicious thighs and ass too
holy fricking sexo
Reminds me of pic related.
Actually they are kinda similar in hairstyle, hair color and eye color.
and thighs
Does she get a kiss scene too? If so I'm choosing her next playthrough.
Only Berengaria and Virginia get kisses, maybe Scarlett depending on how you interpret the positioning
>Berengaria gets a kiss
Does Alain not know he has to produce an heir?
He wasn't taught about sex before his mom died, leave him alone.
What growing up in an Albian Church island does to a prince

I guess that’s what you get when raised around animals.
God.
That inner beastral blood is showing, goddamn!
I married a strong woman. She use to work in conservation in hawaii. She use to break rocks and clear jungle for a living. Dominating strong women in bed is fricking hot. You weak men will never understand.

OFFICIAL Ganker wife.
The ‘official wife’ can’t even have a thread without it getting 404 on sight
Jannies hating her is how you know she's the real deal for us.
Choco elf princess or extra-stuffed choco elf?
Is the vanilla elf that bad, why haven't I seen anyone shill for her?
Rosalinde gets pushed as the heroine of Elfville more than her
It's in the white human male's nature to prefer chocolate elves
Most people here don't like elves, it's just dark skin and dark skin + cowbreasts.
I like elves as long as they're chocolate ones (or drow)
Cool, what is your opinion about Ithilion?
I meant female ones
Although if you gave him breasts...
See, these are so-called "elf-fans".
I didn't say that I was a fan though, sorry Noldorbro
It's alright, have a Rosalinde.
artstyle reminds of dohna-dohna

I prefer vanilla but I like Chloe even more

Yes
Her skits are adorable with how quickly she gets embarassed. Love that archetype.

You are weak.
Any characters who especially benefit from Mirrors besides Selvie for stat changing purposes? Can't decide whether to use these for aesthetics or not until I can buy them permanently.
I just got her and she seems pretty fricking strong with that killing chain ability. Does she fall off later or does she remain useful?
If I want my druid to debuff both rows, can I do one curse with "row with most combantants" and "row with least combatant" and the condition 2 not debuffed for the first skill? I'm in a battle right now otherwise I'd do a mock battle to test myself
That's what I did.
You can also just do "front row; first action" , "back row; second action", "front row; third action".
What's his tax policy?
mindfricked into accepting top tax bracket at all income levels across all taxation methods

Here's the art book DLC:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LT08C88aIG9kwFakKZAArMlYbCOQ-eJ5/view?usp=sharing
There's just one thing about it, is that its only in japanese since I couldn't find an English uploded version of it. Also, its pretty huge when you unzip because of the uncompressed pngs
And here's the 16 DLC ost selection:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yIYjTaKaYvAgqeBCIeYcJo50vecIFWmP/view?usp=sharing
There's only one track that isn't (technically) a part the 16 collection but I left it in anyway. There was another track but that was just static nose, the base files are also left in, if you want to do your own conversion
That's all
*bit
Thanks!
>Also, its pretty huge when you unzip because of the uncompressed pngs
What's the unzipped filesize?
Its like 2GB.

I only do it for the big battle on each continent for exactly this reason.

I NEED to see more of cousin's leotard... how high are the chances of a mod that removes her skirt?
homie how are you gonna mod out hand drawn animations
Sometimes there are layers
By making your own of course
Although that's too hard so it's probably not going to happen
likely the characters are separated into layers. There are some sprites of Virginia where her shields are removed.
I can try drawing her without her skirt but I don't know anything about modding, I don't know if an anon would like to work on that with me.
How does initiative work? Does it shorten charge times like Dragoon Dive and some magic?
It's just turn order.
reward loyal companions
Why does her spear have that hook thing at the end? What's it called?
billhook
>The bill was a versatile weapon that could be used for a variety of purposes on the battlefield. Its long reach and hooked blade made it effective for pulling enemy cavalry from their horses, while its sharp blade and pointed tip made it effective against infantry.
oh neat, I guess that explains her bonus damage on cavs
Not sure it shortens it, you just get to start charging early and execute it first thing next "round" with high initiative.
I usually hate level scaling but this game really needs it
Thoughts on best girl?

>siege weapons everywhere (although those probably did me more good than harm)
>two bases you have to defend after you take them to prevent the b***h from teleporting
>b***h hits and defends like a fricking tank
The "boss fights" in each continent are so fun, everything else is relatively easy by comparison.
Can you not recruit her?
First mission i had to restart, i got worn out by constant reinforcements and Alcina is cheating c**t
If you take all the bases on the right side first you can clear the map of regular enemies
Yeah, figured that out on my third and final attempt.
>Finally get Virginia
>Good personality
>Checks her class
>Uses 2 shields so I can’t equip any accessories
>11 initiative so she attacks last which makes her attacks against gryphon’s and armored units useless since the party can’t attack the backline anymore because they don’t have any ap left
Does she get any “better”? Or do people only like her for her model and incest?
If only there were items that allowed the user to boost the initiative of others
your tailwind cape?
A friend of mine has been saying she's one of the best units in the game, but I jave no idea how to properly build her.
she gets 1 accessory slot on promotion, so there is that
>Silver Goblet + Royal Order

I know nothing about this game but who is chad?
the main character
Alain.
If all my characters are lvl 9 but I'm still low rank C renown will I be missing a lot of skills by not having access to promotions yet ? If its a big deal I can just reload an old save.
No, you shouldn't be getting promotions until around level 15-17/end of Drakenhold if you're doing your deliveries and sidequests.
you can get them way sooner than that
Okay. Thought the number turning red was a sign they were promotable. Like how Josef has been stuck at 20 the whole time.
No, you just get red exp when your level is significantly higher than the opponent.
do any characters have a permanent :3 face this is important
is this literally the only sword that can attack multiple targets?
>Keep seeing thread after thread of anons talking up Virginia as the best girl who is amazing and lovable and putting down Monica as the worst girl in the game because she won't forgive Clive and wants to torture him over what he did
>Almost done with Elheim and I have yet to see a single goddamn Virginia scene that isn't her just putting down everyone around her and being a humongous b***h who can barely conceal that she detests everyone around her, and this is the ONLY thing she does so I don't know where the frick did people take her being a deep character from
>Very first Monica/Clive rapport scene is her saying that she understands what he did now and won't hold a grudge and they're cool
At this point I can only ask...
Are you all fricking moronic? Good lord, I've seen few characters as unlikable and shallow as Virginia, meanwhile the character I was being warned about immediately denies what I was warned about in her most basic and obvious conversation
>complains about Virginia
>posts blonde Virginia
bro???
I posted her in part to show how Virginia COULD be good, but she's only relatively similar in appearance and skills
Honestly if you fused Scarlett with Berenice or something like that you'd get much closer to actual Saber
The virginia posters never played the game. They just like shitposting with her because of the incest
>Almost done with Elheim and I have yet to see a single goddamn Virginia scene that isn't her just putting down everyone around her and being a humongous b***h who can barely conceal that she detests everyone around her
This is a positive, though?
It would if at least she was humorous about it or there was some lesson to learn from it
Virginia was a teenage girl that had to flee her home and survive by herself, there wasn't a Josef to help or guide her.
So no Anon, she is not "shit", she is the rightful queen.
cringe homosexual enjoyer.
This.
Ask yourselves what do the other candidates have in order to deserve the seat as Queen of Cornia?
Virginia is the only true candidate.
>Ask yourselves what do the other candidates have in order to deserve the seat as Queen of Cornia?
Binds to another nation.
Which you would also get by letting Virginia marry Gilbert, so by marrying her yourself you're fricking up your kingdom twice as hard.
>Alain dies
>Now Gilbert's son has a claim on the Cornian throne
So don't fricking die? At least not before making an heir. If Alain died without an heir it'd be a crisis whether Virginia married Gilbert or not.
No, it would be Virginia (queen).
But if she's married to Gilbert, then Cornian Liberation was useless.
Gilbert will send his falseflag assassin squads
Do you not Crusader Kings?
Having the only other claimant married off to your only rival is literally a path to failure
Alain literally gets married before Gilbert does.
See
Alain grew up in a monastery and doesn't know the royal court, Gilbert will see the opportunity and seize it
Alain didn't grow up in a monastery.
If only Alain knew what sex was before he died.
>giving Drakonhold's heir a claim to the Cornian throne
Political marriage is good if you have a confirmed heir already. Not having one and giving Gilbert a head start on succession is dumb.
Your family is down to you and Virginia. Splitting it up sets you up for a 100 year succession war down the line.
Stop giving the Gilcucks attention
Damn, what a good thing that this game involves Alain getting married then, huh? Guess that fixes it.
Ochlys best girl.
All the angels are boring as frick.
Well, my life’s a fricking joke, so funny animal people it is!
>It's okay for Gilbert's family to claim the Cornian throne
>The whole war waged for Cornian Restoration ends in a generation.

>Get THREE Swordfighters, Sellswords, Warriors, Clerics, and Elf Archers
>Only one Shaman
Fricking hate Shamans. Any unit with them in the backline takes 2 fights to kill because they debuff the hell out of my death squads
Would 2 shamans and 3 thieves work, or am I memeing too hard?
Why would it work? Thieves are tanks.
Feels like a waste of stamina, poison is not enough to pelt down tankier units
2 shamans, thief, berengaria and a werefox or hunter/rosalinde for anti-air.
Thanks for the tip.
What kind of party do they work well with? Tempted to put them with a gladiator or something. I get annoyed using gladiator's because they either finish a fight with full health or get completely murdered, but maybe shamans would help with that.

The great filter
shamans are honestly fricking busted
some classes are clearly strong and some are clearly trash, but shaman is just head and shoulders above the rest
debuff classes have to be strong or else nobody would ever use them
See: Hexer from the Etrian Odyssey series.
Busted in all games it appeared in other than the first one because of the class unlocking after you're done with like 60% of the game and grinding up a new unit is a severe test of patience.
Is there even a map where there’s just a lot of cleric enemies that cleanse their debuffs?
I'm still not seeing it. Tried one in my offensive heavy teams in first Elfheim map and was still getting 50%+ damage suicide forecasts without proper setup. Just seems like another contextually useful thing.
Meanwhile in the blonde big titty Gryph map, my under-par, unpromoted Gryph/dual Swordfighters/Rosaline squad is wiping half the map and taking 0 damage.
That's my webm and I went back back and made a cleaner setup earlier, feel free to complain the game is too easy with this one instead.
Yes, Druids are good, we get it.
>feel free to complain the game is too easy with this one instead.
thanks I will
>the single class that lets you easily clear level 40 content even at level 15-ish
>I'm still not seeing it

lmao
Yeah, there's a lot of ways to trivialize the game. I just don't get the shaman wank. It's really not this auto win thing, is all.
>Likes swordmaster
>Doesn't like shaman
I mean, I honestly don't know what you're doing, it's reverse world
They oneshot shit before it can move, and never miss.
They kill fliers, thieves, and just about anything without guarding abilities before it can move. No other class does this as consistently and as easily. Am I saying they're the best? No. Just that anons are being incredibly histrionic about their supposed shortcomings. Provided their damage can be sufficiently buffed, they're deterministic kill buttons.
i mean you can just use a gryphon with wyvern reins and it'll destroy that entire row of rogues by itself and then some more
That shit costs a lot. Everyone knows Gryphs are busted. It isn't all or nothing, it's a squad-based game. All a member of a squad needs to do is justify their placement and score the kill reliably and that's it. No points for anything extra.
>expensive
Aerial wing is 1 pp anon
I mean from the shop itself. It's 20 divine shards. And there's a lot of good shit there competing with it.
>just grind for it bro
nah
You can buy one from a city
>They oneshot shit before it can move, and never miss
>Literally in the map I described, they take out the entire front row of rogues before anything else can happen.
So far.

Can you hire female Hunters? If so, where?
Hunters are male only, there’s Arbalist as the female counterpart in the north of Cornia I believe. Elf Archers have male/female counterparts.
Forgot to add, Yunifi is her own class too.
I honestly can't start maps anymore without using that valor skill that gives everyone 100% more speed.

She has the same effect as gladiator/viking, destroys barriers faster. Her Valor skill is stamina depletion on enemy.

Go back to your shitposting threads while we talk about VIDEO GAMES in here, homosexual.
Do you do this for the daily fire dd2 and ff7 threads too?
DD and FF7 are two iconic franchises so it's only natural that people are genuinely getting hyped for them and discuss them. This literally who gacha auto-battler, however, reeks of shills desperately trying to force it into everyone's consciousness by endlessly and shamelessly spamming generals here. It's unnatural as frick and you only come across as the same handful of tards circlejerking over something that most people don't give a frick about. Literally frick off to >>>/vg/ or

>Unironically using the "cultural phenomenon" argument
I am more surprised with calling DD an iconic franchise.
Like, I love DD to bits, but iconic?
>gacha
What's gacha about this? Even the auto-battler part is wrong, this is less of an auto-battler than FE is.
>this is less of an auto-battler than FE is.
now that's just plain wrong
Just the different amount of active skills you set up and use of items during combat add more variables than anything FE do the moment you initiate combat
Has nothing to do with difficulty, just how the game actually functions.
Sure, UP should have dared more with enemy tactics and more maps like coliseum defend or thorn tower. But design of encounters and maps is different than actual systems and mechanics
Who said anything about difficulty?
>Haven't played post Awakening
Then why the frick are you speaking about FE's gameplay being an auto-battler?
Because I hate FEtards and want them to leave
I feel like I can talk about the 11 out of 14 games I've played.
>admits to being a fehomosexual
Holy shit go back already
Frick off fetards I thought you left already
Don't pretend UO isn't piss easy now. You have to be a game journalist to lose in this.
>You don't simply assemble a squad to counter enemies and then press 1 button to take a back seat and enjoy the ensuing automatic cinematic battle animations like in UO. i equip paladin with javelin/hand axe and press end turn
>UO is still piss easy compared to any FE
Not really. UO is pretty clearly more difficult than FE7/8/9/10 outside of maybe HHM
>Even on the hardest difficulty, UO is still piss easy compared to any FE
Sacred Stones
7
Awakening
PoR
All FE games are easy besides NM on LR.
We might be past Conquest being considered "omg so impossibly hard", but I'm still not putting it on the same level as actually braindead EP games like SS.
You wouldn't dare say with a straight face sacred stones is harder than UO, the same sacred stones where can genuinely solo run it with only one unit
>You don't simply assemble a squad to counter enemies and then press 1 button to take a back seat and enjoy the ensuing automatic cinematic battle animations like in UO.
Most of them are pissy easy and you can do just that
>Even on the hardest difficulty, UO is still piss easy compared to any FE
I love Fire Emblem, and that's a fricking lie.
>I've replied to similar reductionist posts
>is immediately reductionist
Like clockwork
>UO is still piss easy compared to any FE
As someone who has played every single game in the series
You are so full of shit that San Francisco looks clean
>FE2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, Birthright and Revelations, 15, fricking Three Houses
And even then some like 10 and 12 are as hard on the hardest difficulty
That's far more than half the series, so no, not "any game" in the series, much less "the average game" in the series
>played every single game in the series
>proceeds to shill UO as a hard game.
At least make an attempt.
I'm not saying UO is particularly hard, I'm saying the average FE game isn't either
Hell, some are easier even on the hardest difficulty, are you really gonna try and convince me that Sacred Seth is a hard game or harder than UO?
Frick right off you disingenuous homosexual
Imagine if they made Josef as strong as Seth.
>Unicorn Josef
The conversation starter was about FE being easier than UO, if you're gonna go "actually nether" then say that from the start instead of bullshiting about how you totally played every FE game.
>instead of bullshiting about how you totally played every FE game
I don't remember telling a single lie
I have played every game in the series and I can categorically call you a disingenuous homosexual for even trying to convince people that Fire Emblem is hard or harder than this game
>Fire Emblem is hard or harder than this game.
Don't go putting words in my mouth homosexual-kun. I was calling out your obvious bullshit and nothing else. There's no such thing as a hard SRPG to begin with.
>Don't go putting words in my mouth homosexual-kun
>Even on the hardest difficulty, UO is still piss easy compared to any FE, you'll notice this if you actually play any FE game instead of being a UO tribalist Black person.
Now tell me "no I never said or implied that Fire Emblem as a whole is harder than Unicorn Overlord"

Some context since peeps probably thought I was shitposting; getting spitroasted is when you're trapped between two enemy units while disadvantaged and get bounced back and forth between them until death lol
Well that’s shit. Does she not love you?
Vanillaware has never made a bad game
>You now remember 13 sentinels
Yeah, one of their best.
I wish I haven't.
Grimgrimoire is pretty weak honestly
The rest of their catalogue is great though
I agree, but it's still not a bad game
The ending is so satisfying though.
I don't like GG and DC.
And original OS isn't that good, honestly
Damn son, what DO you like then
Muramasa, honestly.
Hmmmm... let me think.

I could never execute Majima.
I'm not feeling it so far.
It really irks me that I can't choose which skills to use.
Use your brain my man
You can literally tell them what to do in the tactics menu bro. It’s not as “autobattler” as you think it is.
That requires reading the tactic text, which makes stupid people upset
>brainlet blames the game and not himself because he's too lazy to engage with the systems

Watch the next excuse be "but I don't really NEED to use anything to win"
I don't really see why you are so defensive, but okay, lol
For Vertical Edge, does the truestrike part of the effect only applies against fliers?
Read the skill
I did, and that's why I am asking. It's full of commas so I can't tell if truestrike part always applies or if only the last part applies to flying enemies.
If you don't know yourself it's fine.

yuzu or ryujinx for this? I still have yuzu downloaded from before the tendies got to it
Yuzu, apparently ryujinx needs some fiddling with the configuration to run well.

Anyone else absolutely stomped everything on expert until Bastorias level 30+ missions? My "doomstacks" of my favourites now sometimes fail to kill their target in one attack.
Probably because of the night buffs
Yes.
I'm constantly dancing back and forth because my fliers can't kill shit anymore and I'm constantly running out of stamina while trying to advance.
I have to push with 2 units at least and then rng seed changes and I'm still losing.

Why does everyone keep comparing FE and UO when the gameplay's nothing alike?
Blame fe tards
Same reason any other time an SRPG comes out and every homosexual has to make an FE comparison. it's literally the only thing these morons know.
They’re medieval strategy-lite games with waifus and wyvern riders.
Seems close enough to me
No you homosexual, Ogre Battle is close to Unicorn Overlord. Expand your fricking palette instead of playing one series and thinking everything in the same genre is like that.
I know, man. Just being moronic on purpose.
Ogre Battle 64 was one of the first games I rented because it looked so cool and I still have a weird nostalgia for it.
Even made me get Knight of Lodis despite it being another kind of tactics. Loved how this series managed to mix low and high fantasy.
Because that's the only point of reference Ganker has regarding SRPGS. Ogre Battle? Never played that, this is clearly inspired by Fire Emblem.
Inspired by Kaga
The lord of all Emblems.
They are the soulsBlack folk of srpgs, as in they think their game invented the genre and everything that comes with it.
Character archetypes. Please don't make me do the whole slideshow again.
I don't understand your moronic picture, so you're probably also moronic.
I TOLD YOU I'D SHOOT, BUT YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE ME
WHY DIDN'T YOU BELIEVE ME?
Hey look, it's Hodrick.
nintendo invented armors and spear apparently
do it
Kinda want to get Melisandre but I hear you can easily break the game with her and I already feel like I’m breaking the game with Berenice
You can? Swordfighters seem like a pretty meh class
Yes, we know, Druids are pretty good.
You're not breaking anything with swordfighter
>two swords
>high evasion
>high crit
I don't get why people say they're bad.
How? Swordmasters are pretty lame. Even with constant crits their damage is shit.
I don't use berenice cause her legs look like the same as the ogres from fear and hunger and it freaks me out
swordmasters honestly suck, they're supposed to be a damage dealer but they can't even do aoe and they don't even do singletarget damage well since they get shut down by high defense and block
I like how he spontaneously becomes right-handed.
stranger danger
Alcina should've been Alain's grandma
this is story is so bad it's almost insulting, the gameplay isn't even good. Ok, some designs are cool and a bit on the coomer side which is good but only that isn't enough. I wish you all a good game I'm out

Vita is objectively better, reworked gameplay, the dlc mini campaigns and a better translation, only problem is being stuck to the fricking vita, so unless you have one laying around you're fricked besides trying to emulate with vita 3k
>emulate with vita 3k
alright thanks that's the plan
Unless there are "turns".
faster characters will go before debuffs and waste them. it's one of the smaller reasons why swordmasters suck. they can actually benefit from shamans doing defense down and guard seal, but the shaman must be incredibly fast, probably needs a raven plume to outspeed the swordmaster and put the debuff down first
Is there a way for fast characters to stall until the end of the turn?
only way to do it is to lower their initiative with equipment. dragonbone weapons lower initiative by -10, then there's shackle accessories that give damage reduction in exchange for 10, 15 or 20 initiative
Any other busted setup other than Trinity Rain+Quick Impetus+Sorcerous Connection?
morard grand smash with sniper's amber lens and wolfpack gauntlets
get a wereowl to buff his initiative and feed him pp so he can do both wolf pack and hawk eye
only problem is that it's completely useless against flying enemies
both elf sisters can do slight variations of elemental roar spam
yunifi with apeliotes, celestial talisman, hero's medallion and a lapis talisman will do her glacial rain immediately. similar to trinity rain, except weaker in damage and can be blocked by fighters, but in exchange it's immune to reflect magick, has freeze, and with a wereowl to feed her 1pp, she can eagle eye it for truestrike. then just fill the rest of the unit with classes that can buff her and clean up after glacial rain
He doesn't need to to the wolf pack himself though.

Why am I getting my ass kicked by Alcina? On Expert and tried loads of combinations. I don't want to use my stamina items yet. Any tips?
>Why am I getting my ass kicked by Alcina?
Because she's a fricking beast. I had most of my ranged supports as team leaders, so I just chip damaged her to death with a pile of teams.
Are stat debuffs afflictions?
No, afflictions are like burn or stun
No. But afflictions are debuffs.

Of course OP, that's my dream and I will probably die alone because of this dream.
Kill all Drakenhold bastards
Drakenhold was way worse than Elfland (excluding Alcina). Felt like a different game.
Cool it with the supports
How do you counter this
There's an item to cancel supports
Faerie Wind Charm is only good for one battle though
Is there any Valor skill that gives you cover for several seconds and not one fight?
you could take a fighter as a leader to reduce the incoming damage
Send in lex with hodric shield while Liza covers half of them with smoke
If you're going to use Lex you can just provoke them off the towers.
literally just walk around it
Virginia's valor skill. Works for only one battle though.
Take ballista, blast enemies.
non-flyers can stand inside the blue outlined forests to be immune to assists. use berengaria's provoke valor skill to pull the archer off the tower because they won't come to you otherwise
Provoke pulls off towers?! Damn.
it pulls ballistas and catapults too. extremely useful in those siege battles. or you can use a beckoning bell, the game shits out a ton of those and removing a dangerous tower/ballista/catapult is often the key to an easy victory
it even stops the archers from doing their insanely annoying arrow rain. easily the best counter to towers
I select Alain and then click on the boss
>PoV: you're a bloon and you want to reach the goal
Or just use the bells
UO and FE are both easy as shit games, why don't you morons name a SRPG that's actually hard for once?
Name one hard srpg

Anyone tried the Coliseum items? Which is the best accessory? Magic one seems bit decent.
How does Bastard's Cross scale, with enemy low HP or with enemy high HP?
I love my cousin-sister-not mom-wife.
Alain marries virginia because he has a long term eugenics program in mind. Please understand, it's easier to keep the traits when your family already has them.
