i don't like a lot of the changes in other game localizations that often get criticized on Ganker. that said, adopting google translate as the new gold standard for translation quality is incredibly dumb and you gays are honestly even more moronic than the cringe sjw translators you love complaining about.
The dialogue is extremely tryhard in its attempt to be 'olde' to the detriment of sounding even the least bit natural. The prologue has the queen call her son a sheltered sapling or some bollocks like that just moments before she walks out into certain death. The English VAs sounding like the stupid people in school trying to read poetry doesn't help either.
I don't understand the sentiment involved in making sure villains can't be bigots. Why wouldn't an evil person be sexist? Isn't the point that you beat them because they're bad and wrong? They're losers and it's supposed to be cathartic to defeat them.
