FYI mobile apps DO NOT need to ask permission to store data in their own sandboxed folder, that permission prompt is only to get access to the rest of your phone. People blindly accept this and it will eventually be standard behavior on windows too. If you care you should encrypt all your personal info on your PC

And if you don't think that is useful you've never tried developing a game. Here is a legitimate bug report I once had "I went outside and did a thingy and then something happened and it didn't work".
Yet at the same time, thanks to this sort of data and logging, I managed to port my game to Linux without using Linux myself and according to people who do use Linux, the game runs perfectly fine.
