unpopular opinion - I am fine with battle passes but would prefer if the contents were added to the permanent shop afterwards at a much much higher combined cost so there's a somewhat reasonable FOMO element to keep people playing more (PLAY IT AND MAX IT NOW TO SAVE BIG) and not just locking the content away forever

a lot of people just flat out hate battle passes in any form, even if the content isn't permanently locked away

That's the actual unpopular opinion though
what you said in the op is basically "I don't mind it but I wish it was unilatterly better on the consumer end" which is like me saying I don't mind working I just wish they paid more

      This

Here's an actual unpopular opnion: unless you make 7 figures or have some kind of serious phisical disability, you are acting like a moron for not changing your own oil. it's easier than washing dishes if you have a high curb to drive on somewhere nearby and about as difficult as defrosting a freezer if you don't

This is the same kind of moron that nags you for ordering takeout
What is the point of earning money if you don't spend it?

It's just slightly less idiotic than buying coffee at Starbucks

          >100 euro

An oil change is like twenty bucks. And they rotate my tires. I have to drive there anyway to dispose of the oil.

          >20 dollars
I'm confused, so how much for an oil change?

        how to change oil?

Step 1 find a high curb
step 1.5 if you can't find a high curb use a carjack to raise your car (you should have one behind your spare wheel) and then prop it up on stands (you have to buy these, they're cheap)(don't just put them anywhere there are special places under your car for them)
step 2 buy oil, your car manual says what kind of oil you need
step 3 grab a big piece of cardboard, out it under the car. This is so you're not laying on the road
step 4 get on your back and slide under the car
step 5 get an oil catcher, this is just a plastic tub that catches falling oil, you can make this yourself from some household item I'm sure but they cost basically nothing
step 6 locate the oil container
step 7 loosen the 1 opening the oil container has
step 8 wait for it to drain
step 9 tighten it again, you might need a wrench for this
          step 10 check it's tight
          step 11 pour new oil

You should also change the oil filter while you're at it but different cars have it in different places so just look up how to so it in your car, this is basically just pulling out a filter and putting in a new one though, sometimes you also pour in some oil sometimes you don't

Why did you knowingly move to a part of the country thats too hot for humans to live
Another unpopular opinion: Americans don't get to complain about the weather. They have this whole giant country but they choose to move to places like Florida that are incredibly hot and get regular hurricanes, then when their matchstick house falls apart they cry on TV OH NO WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO AAAHHHH
It's not like Haitians or Cubans where that's their entire country, you can live anywhere in the US and you chose to live in southern texas, that's your problem

Ironically, despite doing everything else wrong, I think the only game (that I know of) that's done battle passes right is Halo Infinite. There's really no point to making battle passes limited time. It literally just encourages more people to grind and pay for their shit.

Dingdingding, you've found the point, a regular three month player retention rhythm

I meant having unlimited access to old battle passes encourages players to grind, even after they're done with the current battle pass

I agree with this, or just give battle pass exclusive varieties for shit rather than universal style so it doesn't demean the gays who grinded (or paid) their way to the top
