Take a look at the JP companies making mobile games, most of them are small studios even when they try to make 3d games it always ends in failure most likely due to their inablitiy to market their games since they are again smaller studios, the only one I can think of that might be able to pull it off is Cygames but even then it would be a tall order for them looking at ReLink. The only ones with the capabilities to make open world games are the AAA studios but like I said they don't make games that are "too anime". CN and KR studios weren't grifted to hell like the JP old guard were and this is the result.

Project Mugen should appeal to the male demographic and make it clear, I don't want any fujo nor homosexual pandering whatsoever. I also wanna see more gameplay, hopefully an in-depth look. If it delivers on both fronts then it'll become my most anticipated game.
Wuthering Waves is kinda hard. They redesigned two of the initial characters but those changes don't see to be reflected in the on-going closed beta, so who knows how the game is going to end up. They're already chasing the fujo demographic which unfortunately has a lot of overlap with the twitter freak mob. That already puts it below Project Mugen. The combat looks very interesting but I don't think it can carry a live service game for more than 2 years, so I hope they're adding more sandbox elements like Mugen did.
No idea what else there is to look forward to.

The first area is Inazuma city, the second is the Chasm, the third is a mix of Liyue and Inazumi architecture, the fourth is Wangshu Inn and the last and most obvious one is the path to Liyue city, with the same elevation change going into a big arch that leads to a bridge that leads to the city that has similar elevation, the two mountains behind are also something you saw in Liyue.

Her outfit was alright but they ruin it with those dumb bandages that look out of place because they don't want to have a character showing too much cleavage or side boob. Same thing with the female player character. Her outfit is one of the more decent ones and they ruin it with a white under shirt that looks like an afterthought because someone decided they couldn't have visible sideboob.

My opinion of genshin is so low, wuwa could release tomorrow and have nothing over genshin besides better combat and I would still consider it the better game.
As to why I've put it back on my radar, kuro has shown they're making a real effort to address people's complaints. They've removed censorship, continue to completely redesign characters, and made the game world more vibrant. It's concerning enough already that they even have to make so many drastic changes over and over, but as long as they arrive at a good end point, I'll cut them some slack.
For some reasons the way they named their characters makes me think this will be a huge China Strong wankfest and that alone already turned me off, is the setting supposed to be some kind of Wuxia knockoff in post apocalypse setting? I can't tell because the art direction is all over the place.

Looks like the new build with the redesigns and changes is playable at g-star. So far kuro seems to be removing the censorship and upping the sex appeal. The bulk of the characters are 4*s so they'll likely get new outfits as we get 5* variants assuming they handle characters like PGR. Fixing the bust sizes was always the bigger battle as that can't be fix with alts, that said I am in full agreement that the females as they are need more work as far outfit go but at least they are undoing the censorship and starting to focus on sex appeal.
