Sure thing, consoletard.
Try lords of the fallen it got an official randomizer update yesterday. Game is good you just gotta get used to the controls.
Or emulate vidyas you've never experienced before at 8K.

Dogshit thread
kingdom come 2 is the only good game worth upgrading for right now
None. There have been almost zero AAA exclusives to come to PC since I was a child. Sell the PC for a laptop since it's actually useful for work shit and play on consoles
Why the frick would anyone buy a new computer just to play video games with it, might as well buy a console, OP you massive homosexual expand your horizons its not just for games.
At some point a computer gets so old you might as well just buy a new one. Also depends on how often you update. If you keep most things up the date yea there’s no point but if your just buying new parts after like 8 years I’d say just get a new pc with new parts.
>spend $4000 to play the exact same games you were already playing
>all the worthless bloat
>buys amd
that poor man..
For real. The 1080 is still perfectly capable of playing any vidya. /u/PartyRooster spent 4 grand for increased pixel density, topkek.
>b650
>Ryzen 7
>with 4090
>But all these overpriced fans and case
Why are zoomers so moronic
what is wrong with the b650?
i need a new mobo soon
Nothing, the second pcie slot runs at half the speed or something which makes no difference since nobody is using double graphics cards this gen.
Is that the pillsbury dough boy?
Frick off, it’s my Rolex Submariner you shithead.
You should be using the second slot for NVMe SSDs. The amount of PCIe lanes determines how many you can connect with an appropriate adapter board.
buying an x670 and a pcie adaptor for the ssd just to game is 100x more moronic than anything in that pic including buying an aio for a 7800X3D and 9 fricking fans
The more directstorage gets support the more NVMe SSDs you will need. That build will last you a decade and unless you want to swap your OS SSD you will need an additional M.2 drive or two. An AIO and excessive amount of fans won’t do you any good now or ever. It’s all about better longevity.
Nothing wrong with it, and that mobo is probably more than good enough for an r7
But you don't pair it with the most expensive gpu you can get, which will probably get bottlenecked by it
>>But you don't pair it with the most expensive gpu you can get, which will probably get bottlenecked by it
that's a gigabyte b650 gaming x. that's sub 80c vrm temps on a 1h cinebench workload with a 7950x, a 170w cpu. a 7800X3D on gaming workloads is like a joke compared to that
the board is fine and will absolutely not bottleneck a 4090
>never been this happy before to buy BRAND parts
>buys a $1500 gpu
>not even r9 cpu
>b650 mobo
And a 360 radiator plus 9 (nine) noctua fans for that r7
7800X3D is a ryzen 7, please do your homework
there's nothing wrong with b650 either, especially for gaming
anon was meming, don't fall for it
People have to buy a fricking tower in 2024 just for the space to fit a single GPU.
>he still uses a case
Ngmi
You'll probably browse streaming sites and Ganker 99 percent of the time.
Mine bitcoin
Monster hunter wilds will probably be pretty good so long as they don't go full moron woke about it, although I don't know how much damage you could really do to a game about hunting monsters in that regard
I own like three 4090's and the only things I play are emulators. Do your homework OP. Don't buy shit you don't need. Especially if you are a noob.
BUT YOU ARE LE POOR AND BROKE IF YOU DON'T BUY A 4090!!!
Well there's llama and stable diffusion. I don't play anything but starbound and random rpg maker slop from itch, yet I still got a 3090 just for that.
I just bought a 4080 super, and same thing. Fricking Dragon's Dogma is cpu limited even with a 14700k. It's a bad time for pc gamers
That game is so poorly optimized. I can run cyberpunk 2077 at 4k/60+ fps. But DD2? Sometimes I get as low 25 fps at 1080p. Awful game, truly dreadful.
had to upgrade to a new laptop recently, the adhesive that held the screen panel got fricked so the screen came out. The battery was shit barely lasting 20 minutes and not charging properly. The USB-C charging port got lose, so it wouldn't carge properly. The screen developed burn in and ghosting.
It was time
>upgrading without a game in mind
You're dumb
>Upgrade pc
Why? I have a 3070 still and I think it will carry me through a lot of games to come still.
Not playing AAA garbage helps, I guess.
>Why
Had to upgrade my cpu, it was holding back my 3060
>holding back your 3060
In what?
pc
get buyer's remorse
Immediately Frog out
Play Horizon
This happened to me with the RTX3070. I think the most graphically intensive game I’ve played on it is Wolfenstein from 2014. Maybe I’ll get around to playing the System Shock remake someday.
>1060 6gb
>wont have money to upgrade anytime soon
count yourself lucky...
>be moron
>don't do any research about what to play before getting hardware
>make shit thread on Ganker
as usual, frog post worst post
Why would you upgrade your PC if you don't have any games that you want to play that require it
Later on in the year I will upgrade my PC. Might even get myself a 4k monitor. I will still play Stardew Valley and Factorio a lot on it. Can't wait.
>he fell for the upgrade meme.
lmao. sorry anon. all you get is the ability to play spiderman on a higher resolution. i hope you weren't needing that money for anything else.
just pirate your pc dude
I haven't been able to get myself to go grab a 4080 super because my 3060ti is still surviving at 1440p and I play decade old MMOs mostly. Maybe something cool will come out at the 5xxx series launch.
Considered upgrading but I realized the only thing I'd be using it for are better loadtimes on Warhammer TW.
My computer's psu fried a bunch of components a week ago so i had to rebuild. Eventually i decided to go and upgrade to am5 since i wanted something new anyway. I'm going to hold off on getting a new gpu since my 3070ti is still capable.
Post specs or larp
It hasn't arrived yet, but I order a 5700X3D and some extra ram
How can you have buyers remorse when this is the baseline for a normal below-average PC build that costs frick all? I’d understand if you bought a 600+ GPU and realized that new games suck ass, but the 3060 is necessary to run even 10 year old games decently.
>Still running 2070 Super and a Ryzen 5 3600
Would I get more benefit out of upgrading my motherboard and CPU or getting a new GPU?
I only upgrade my pc when a part stops working. my GT 730 lasted me like 7 years
>gt 730
ewww
>diaperfrog
Frick off
Shut the frick up frogtroony
i upgraded my pc for starfield....
