People that are too deep in the comp multiplayer scene will say "git gud" or "skill issue" or "filtered" to you but the fact remains that there is nothing, absolutely nothing to gain from sweating in mp games if you're not gonna join a pro team and try to e-sport.
You'll only end up angry, frustrated and jaded with nothing to show for it. It is not worth it.

Nope, my mindset in games is still broken that losing far outweighs winning and I get annoyed by every setback.
In singleplayer games, this amounts to quickloading a lot to practice what I want to do.
In some ways it's calmer, but I still flame myself when I frick up and it honestly ruins the moment for a lot of games.
Only when the game is impossible to lose do I truly relax. Puzzle games are nice; just keep trying til you figure it out, just like any game? But there is a difference somehow.
Matchmaking has its flaws. I mostly play multiplayer games that have custom servers. Easier to make friends if everyone isn't ejected into the next pile of randoms after every match.
You do not need to take multiplayer seriously and only play ranked mode to have fun with online games. I have 1200 hours on tf2 and never touched a single comp server. I have 200 hours on csgo and only played casual matches and they all where fun so far.

Yes. I can't stomach online games much anymore. Single player games are the perfect means to avoid dealing with insufferable gays.
Tarkov is unplayable because of cheaters, never had such a hard time with a game being so blatantly full of it.

Out of all the bullshit multiplayer games this one was the worst to me. Fricking homosexual children paid to just press a to win. At that point where is the fun? I don’t understand the mindset of cheaters
MP games are fun, but you should really only play them with the intention of having FUN. Not leveling up, or getting skins or gear, just FUN. I play mp games here and there since it's fun to just shoot shit in apex, but I try to only play with friends since it's so much better.
Single player games are the reason I love games as a whole, and I can't imagine ever viewing them as much more than a time sink if I only played multiplayer.
