Breen’s voice is too iconic to replace. I really like Alyx’s original VA too, I haven’t played HL:Alyx so I don’t know if the knew one is good but I’m worried she’ll have more of a quirky/girlboss tone that’s common for female characters today, as opposed to the more sincere tone the original Alyx had.

What happened to the "secret project" they were going to unveil at Gamescom? Pretty sure that wasn't in reference to a Source 2 port of a 15 year old game.
Anything involving a remaster from Valve is bait. They won't do it again after fricking up Half-Life Source. Besides, their autistic fanbase will do the work for them and already have been from the moment HL:Alyx was released.

It's probably the supposed 'Project Citadel' thing they're working on or maybe 'Deckard', the new VR they're making. I really hope the Citadel thing is true btw, the concept seems really interesting.
Sounds entirely plausible. Portal got console versions and Half-Life probably is going to get them too. If they do a third main game you know for a fricking fact that’s going to come to every other console. Source 2 is out. They’re going to make games with it.

It was done by Nvidia because they got source code a long while ago to port games on Nvidia Shield, which uses same Tegra as Switch

If Valve is making a third Half-Life game they are going to probably want a new version for the new consoles, even if Portal was a cheaper outsource job that game also takes place almost entirely indoors and is newer than HL2. Even the episodes look crusty now. I feel like the idea of them doing a fresh new version as one final cash-in for HL2 to port to everything + a physical version is nowhere near outside the realm of possibility

Because Valve cucks got mindbroken by the lack of Episode 3 and they still haven't recovered 16 years later. What do they even have left? Alyx is a cope, TF2 is full of glitches, hackers and bots, Dota2/CSGO are soulless moneymakers and the last two games Valve made (Artifact/Dota Underlords) were pointless trend chasers that died in record time. The only thing Valve "fans" have left is fantasies about getting actual new games and updates.

Closest you could come to an equivalent when Microsoft told Valve "We will prevent you from distributing software you WILL merge with us" back during the whole windows 8 fiasco, but even then Microsoft at the very least has the whole "Overthrowing the world governments and becoming an autocratic dictatorship of the entire planet" thing going for them Tyler wants to take Valve for reasons he's barely even sure of including but not limited to "Making a game he is an idea guy for" and "Banning people for hatespeech AND taking away their libraries".
And for the record, trying to trick Valve into making him the "head" of the company isn't the only time he did this.
He tried to trick some TF2 mappers and item modelers into signing contracts to basically be indentured servants to make a game for him back when creators.tf was a thing.

I get it's technically more accurate and stylistically more in line with what Half Life is going for, but I do prefer Half Life's weird indoor outdoor lighting that made darker objects pop more.
