I have a moron question. If I want to play locally with a friend, how do I select the current ruleset G? When I just go to doubles, I get a few options about the rules. And the three bottom ones are Official 1, 2 and 3. I guessed the number 3 would be the last one, but number 2 is the one that only allows for one box legendary.
Is that the correct way to do it? Literally my first time trying on a physical switch.

When I play Pokemon I often try to keep in mind if RNG determines a match then I still live with the fact I accepted the risk and was outdone because of oversight. Nerfed dynamax is such a shame. It should be a base minimum of 100 damage but the damage can increase depending on the size of the Pokemon

Man I just wish they would buff Precipice Blades and Origin Pulse accuracy up to 100. It's just lame that a restricted box legendary has to deal with such unreliable moves as their main attack (Kyogre at least has Spout but Thunderclap Bolt/Glide Gorilla will make that unreliable when it no longer has tera grass as an option in the future generations). Also just make Desolate Land and Primordial Sea the abilities for their base forms too. It's crazy to think that it feels like the broken weather duo are one bad powercrept generation away from becoming mediocre, or even bad, restricted pokemon.

Kyogre and Groudon are the only legendaries from gens 1-5 that see consistent usage because the rest have Pressure or a Mold Breaker clone while Drizzle and Drought allow them to also be enablers for other Pokemon.
I am not saying Kyogre needs direct buffs but I would like it more if Origin Pulse and Precipiece Blades had perfect accuracy but less base power(I would also take it for Origin Pulse to be single target because it no longer learns Scald[king of the sea btw] and I liked it for more consistency)

The attack stat nerf was really the only nerf it deserved. Intrepid Sword didn't deserve to get destroyed like that. Also GameFreak just doesn't understand that a big reason for Zacian being so broken was Behemoth Blade ignoring the HP buff on Dynamax. Dynamax in general just screwed over a lot of GameFreak's balance decisions. There are a lot of pokemon that were only good in a Dynamax meta, also a lot of broken Pokemon who were only balanced because of Dynamax meta, and GameFreak just didn't understand that going into SV (leading to broken TornShifu meta when they were released from Home, and horses restricted meta now). Zacian just doesn't have the power to justify losing a held item for anymore.

If it was intentional the horses would actually get nerfed, not just that nothingburger nerf Glacial Lance got to make it's power equal to Astral Barrage. GameFreak is just moronic and thought Zacian would still be the best restricted without Dynamax. Just like they're moronic for thinking Urshifu and the horses were balanced when in reality going against Dynamax Pokemon just stopped them from using their full offensive potential.

Shadow Rider is basically better Flutter Mane, fills the same niche with more stats and two abilities. It’s not surprising to see, but I do think Shadow Rider is gonna suffer from being slapped on teams in place of Flutter Mane and then under perform as a result since people will get more out of their restricted mons then Shadow Rider users(not really a hot take since the data kind of shows it already happening). I think Shadow Rider will really shine again in a dual restricted format.
