Video games with exotic weapons?
Pic related?
I get tired of shooting the same AR15 and variants in every video game.
Everybody knows that slav guns are the best and most reliable in the world and anything manufactured by france or belgium is trash.

7.62 maybe?
It’s kinda wild that the USSR had the AK since 1947 but it was only 1963 when the US got finally the M16, and before then they only had the M14 which wasn’t even an assault rifle. That’s a huge gap for over two decades.
>but it was only 1963 when the US got finally the M16, and before then they only had the M14 which wasn’t even an assault rifle.
Ask Japan.
Why were the first M16 lines so bad? Why couldn't they produce an actual full-auto assault rifle if some cavemen in Kazakhstan is able to do so in a garage workshop.
I think that's just how American things go. Things start off sucking but then they end up pretty good.
For whatever reason they told soldiers that the weapons were "self cleaning", and they were issues ammo that wasn't the ammo used in trials and that created problems. You'll notice once they started issuing cleaning kits and instruction manuals the issues dried up
yeah it was corruption within hte ordinance department because they just didn't like the new rifle
which of course got soldiers killed classic army moronation
The American military is shit at building things, they do however have a unique advantage in that they can just throw infinite money at a problem without worrying about running out while other tend to be much more restricted is that area meaning they only get a couple of tries to make it right.
is this how israel ended up with such cool guns? is their military just america 2.0?
My willpower is weakening, and the day that I buy a Gen 2 Galil ACE pistol in 7.62 is growing ever closer.
Maybe I'll cough up the extra ceesh to the Mormon death cult and buy the MDRX though.
Meant for
, I'm moronic
They were meant to adopt the same rifle with the rest of NATO but when the FN FAL won the competition they threw a hissy fit because it wasnt american made
USA entered the war as the only country where every grunt had a semi-automatic combat rifle. Soviets had some, Germans had some, but ultimately they used more bolt-actions. And then I guess generals really didn’t want to give up muh powerful rifle cartridge, and given how M16 production was basically sabotaged, there was probably a lot of money changing pockets involved.
inb4 /k/trannies start shitting up the thread talking about pistol magazines and other shit nobody cares
almost every weapon in cruelty squad is based off a weird prototype or obscure weapon
The TKB-408 was added in The Division 2 recently for whatever reason
They're still updating that game? Is it.... decent? I liked Div1 a lot
The right side designs wouldn't work at all because there's nowhere to load the bullet and have the hammer travel wtf
You don’t know shit about guns.l
Just google it, weirder guns exist. Some bolts cycle forward, maybe there’s a gizmo to send cartridge forward. Google AN-94 disassembly for some fun.
guess anon knows more than actual gun engineers
bullpups are shit
they're shit
Why?
>THEY ARE JUST SHIT OKAY
>THEY ARE JUST SHIT OKAY
Yes.
Then explain why the Australian army did multiple exhausting testing and determined that in every way the AUG is superior to the M4
it will always be heartwarming knowing they let this little guy name a gun
>the Australian army
cant do sick reload animations where you knock the empty mag out with a full one
Battlefield 1
Perfect Dark for the N64
Battlefield 1 is all kinda wacky, early weaponry was wild.
For me its a tie between the Lebel 1886, 1895 Russian and the Parabellum MG 14/17
my favorites were always the lebel and the chachat in that game
its too bad every class didnt get access to bolt actions seriously what was dice thinking
>its too bad every class didnt get access to bolt actions seriously what was dice thinking
They were thinking that they couldn't match your level of sheer based thinking that's what. The closet we got to this was the standard issue rifles gamemode that nobody fricking played. Though I wouldn't put it pass someone wanting play as a Support maining a Martini-Henry or a Vetterili practically oneshotting everyone upclose with unlimited ammo.
I think over time standard issue rifles also got turned into a server setting because there were servers I played where you got access to other guns as well as the standard issue ones
really wish they made a realism gamemode with something like 200% damage and only access to the weapons of the country you were playing
>doesn't have the secret revolver
Shame really
>General Liu rifle is a bogstandard medic semi auto normally
>has a firing mode that changes it to a boltaction
BF1 had some weird shit that I will give them credit for attempting.
