This if you're financially stable and your needs are met there's nothing wrong with spending on your hobbies, I think a lot of zoomies on Ganker just aren't to a point where regularly dropping money on luxury purchases is a thing yet, I've spent probably a few thousand on mecha and just general model kits over the last few years as well as some equipment for them and had family tell me I'm wasting money when they've seen my collection but it's one of the few things I truly enjoy and it's my own money, I've lived alone and covered all my expenses for years judging someone for how they spend their money at that point is just hypocritical tbh
being a whale in games does encourage devs to implement anti-consumer practices but that's a separate issue from how you spend your money really
