Can you enter service menu somohow? I have top-of-the-line 22" P225f, but picture is quite dim.

I agree; I picked up a ViewSonic P815 CRT Monitor (made in Japan by Panasonic) last year from a local e-waste facility here in Australia, and it is truly a thing of analogue beauty. It even has RGB inputs and a USB hub.

I wouldn't go that far but they are quite good. My p225 is really nice, if slightly dimmed from use. It definitely gives my desk some cool factor when I have it set up; which is only occasionally as it's a chore to maintain when you work from home.
I dont like them but more for you I guess.
I loved the one I had, played a lot of Saturn and Dreamcast on it. Sadly, due to CRT bulk, I had to throw it out when I got my two FW-900s. I really wish I had the room to save it, but moves happen when these slumlords demand even more for rent.
