I think its too early for Gen 5 remakes. I think we'll see Legends game later this year, either in Unova or possibly Johto.
If Unova, it'd be in the future or past AKA removed from BW/B2W2. Wouldn't be a "remake" per-say.

I doubt it'll keep increasing. Main remakes will keep happening consistently every six years if current patterngays are to be believed.
It might be B/W3 instead of remakes but the entire "time travel" angle being revealed to be parallel dimension swapping does hearken back to the Entralink/Dream World something fierce.
I've rather want something new, instead of faithful remakes. Maybe expanded kitakami region with mixed starters, just like a PLA? What starter trios you're want? I'd like Treecko, or Chespin, Fennekin or Torchic and Squirtle.
