I'm gonna be honest, I didn't like Trials of Mana all that much.
While it was a well done remake, the game at its core doesn't offer much content even for retro standards.
I'm a bit afraid Vision of Mana will just be another game that offers 40 hours of battles without much depth and nothing else.

They literally made remakes of the first 3 games to attract enough people for a new game. The producer said that wanted to made a new game for 10 years.

Is simmilar to Crapcom fans demanding that they should release a (THIRD) RE1 remake instead Resident Evil 9 with 2R combat , puzzles and routes
ToM was a remake with stupid amounts of soul though.
It was a rare thing for a remake to have soul, admittedly, but that is exactly why I want to see more from them.
While I respect and enjoy SD3 I won't further discuss that ToM remake was a quality title because it's indisputable except to soulless idiots.
I'm not really sure why people want to go further in with rehashing Legend of Mana either, the Remaster was fricking good already and I don't think the combat is that much of a problem. What I'd wish for instead was to see some of Legend of Mana's ideas make it into a new mana game
While Ishii was LoM's director, the game was developed under Kawazu's supervision unlike the rest of the series, he was the one who encouraged and helped push a lot of the ideas in that game such as the Land Make system (which was something Ishii originally wanted for SaGa Frontier), classless, freeform customization for the characters, the batshit insane crafting system etc., it's why none of the other games are like that and why LoM has many nods to SaGa, Ishii AND Kawazu (with some of his bois like Matsui and Takai) made it happen.
No, Adventure of Mana was a remake (again) of FFA.
With Trials they finally had a budget and a game loved in Japan to market. Keep in mind CBU4 is the division with less budget , most of them go to the Brave exvius gacha , while Paranormasight/Mana/Actraiser fough to have the rest.
