Yeah. They also spawn branches and pinecones which will also trigger the radar, and there's also bugs that trigger it. Frankly, I find it a bit much, since the game basically trains you to ignore the goddamn thing, as 99% of pings are nothing at all.
I wish it acted more like a real radar instead of a magical entity detector. Something like a doppler radar that highlights movement but not much else.

You need two things to get into the bunker, one of them you can buy in the store, one you can see from outside the bunker entrance.
There should be a notebook on the table telling you how many of each kind of trash item you need to make a couple different kinds of scrap.
Scrapping and crafting are the same thing, just put the necessary components on the workbench table and then use the table.

Mouse wheel. Start a new save, take the card, then put it in the mail box to grab it on your old save.

I go to the video scanner and it takes forever to find a signal and ping it. I liked the arrows letting you know where to head to
Press shift on the scanner to get guiding arrows, they may be on a cooldown, but they give you more precise direction and even a sense of distance.
