Yeah, Gyaoon is vaguely related on Rhyon, the only difference being Gyaoon is more of a "generic" kaiju vs Rhydon being a rhino.
He also used to be the homie on the statues before they retconned it into being a vague gargoyle thing.
Really makes me wonder if they could bring back Gyaoon in some way (Design tweaks are inevitable tho...)

Actually, 32 isn't Nidorino, it's actually an early design that has elements of both Nidorino and Nidorina. Nidorino/Nidorina weren't introduced until Period 5b, when the game was close to completion.
