I actually don't think PCgays are going to be lining up for this one. Best case scenario it's out in a year, and by that time every normalgay and their mother will have been spoiled on the entire game. At that point all they're left with is a worse DMC game without Dante. I wouldn't buy that.

Indeed the game could really use a DMD or even a Heaven Or Hell mode, some variation to basic combos and weapons that actually change something, difficult mode I can see happening as updates but core changes the combat not so much.
The game does have harder difficulties than action and story focused. They're just locked on NG+ and Arcade.
yes but if you gonna put some auto play shit in the game at least make it challenging, this is a full fledge action game not a RPG , give a true hard mode not the new game plus BS which is just as easy.

I do hope CBU3 figures out how to make a middle of the road difficulty setting for the game with which you can start out. At the latest for the PC release. The combat is fun, but enemies being too passive makes it less engaging to style on them.
Lack of challenge makes for more boring combat. People that only care for story will probably power through. The inverse is lacking because gameplay first autists will quickly rise above the "action oriented" difficulty.
The most fun gameplay challenges for me have been the time trials because they introduce a metric that makes the combat harder as a result.
