I agree
I'm so fricking sick of Starfield. Bethesda games are often held up as "the best ever", and Starfield has plastered this board. Oh cool, yet another Bethesda game that just looks and feels like a copy of every other Bethesda game. I don't get the hype for these over games with new and interesting combat mechanics like Phantom Liberty, the fact that Ganker pretends Phantom Liberty is a bad game is proof that this board doesn't really care about videogames anymore.
Starfield looks exactly like every other Bethesda game. Meanwhile, Phantom Liberty is: >Full of content >No DLC or MTX, a finished product from day 1 >More weapons, build options and personalization than ever before >More enemy variety than pretty much every game in the series, makes the previous game look like a prototype in comparison >Loads of amazing bosses and mini bosses, some secret and plenty in sidequests >Sidequests have been fixed, it's no longer just doing what some ghost tells you, now most are almost just as good as main story content >You get to explore every realm, the world feels more alive than ever, no longer does the game feels like roaming a desolated wasteland Shadow of the Colossus style thanks to plenty of NPCs. >New Game+ will be added to the game soon enough to have even more fun.
Overall an impressive feat and when anyone expresses love for it, you homosexuals rip on them.
From a game design perspective, Bethesda games just feel lazy to me, reused assets, reused mechanics, it really doesn't offer anything new and im not sure if i should laugh at those thoundans of players people who bought this absolute garbage of a game or sad because that many people bought this absolute garbage of a game.
I'm trying to 100% the game again and I've run into a new issue, or maybe I've just forgotten but: When you're doing the NCPD missions are you finding that for some reason you'll get a wanted level or 2? I don't remember them every giving me trouble before 2.0 and now it seems like they frick with me every other mission.
>johnny is excised and deleted, engram/relic are destroyed entirely, you enter a 2 year coma >judy leaves to pittsburgh and marries some girl >panam kills herself, aldecaldos cut contact with you >river sells out night city to trauma team and loses his family as a result >arasaka falls apart and pulls out of night city altogether >hanako dies during the assault on arasaka tower, takemura is accused of assassinating her and is hunted by arasaka >viktor is bought out by zetatech in a hostile takeover and forced to become a corpo wageslave ripperdoc >misty shuts down the esoterica and leaves for poland >rogue doesn't want you to come back to the afterlife because it'll poison your legacy >your neural cortex + nervous system are permanently and irreversibly damaged and incapable of interfacing with cyberware without outright killing you, only real options are to become a NUSA glowie at langley or to become a fixer because thugs on the street can beat you to near death with ease now
tfw DLC adds the worst fricking ending in the game
I wanted to try something new but just went back to netrunner anyways. At least I am using cyberware way more and having monowire skills in the int tree is neat. I am pretty kuch ignoring firearms and dismantling them all right away to make the game a bit harder
i dunno tried it the other night on a playthrough just after act 1. i went from blasting through missions slicing everyone up with katanas to giving people mild cuts and having to find cover. not sure if im having fun.
seeing all the spoilers reminds me that Ganker is no different that the zoomers who watch a streamer play a game rather than play it themselves.
100% the same people.
Lost my save file so i started over again. Currently running pistols/katana/netrunning
Here's V. Not my or anyone elses' V, but V. The "canon" version. I'm a little autistic about stuff like this, so i don't mod my games or do anything to interfere with the artist's dish.
Katana build, with Netrunner and Stealth abilities
My goal is to pick off enemies one by one, with stealth takedowns and quickhack, and once there are only 2 or 3 enemies left I go in and slice the chooms down.
So basically Reflex/Intelligence/Cool
Too bad that Sandevistan takes up the quickhack console slot though, but I enjoy taking control of cameras and making explosive traps too much
there are builds besides shoot guy or stab guy? come back and shill the game when they sell the IP to the japs who know what cyberpunk aesthetic is supposed to be.
The Penis 2 build.
The new endings look even worse than the last, i'll pass.
>I DON'T LIKE THE 30 SECOND END CUTSCENE SO THE GAME IS BAD
who gives a shit
I agree

>Phantom Liberty is:
>No DLC
Phantom Liberty is literally a DLC though.
>phantom liberty is:
>full of content
>No DLC or MTX-
Stopped reading there.
Phantom liberty is a DLC itself.
You failed the [SHILL] check, homosexual
Oh he literally just did a find+replace for Baldur's Gate 3 with Phantom Liberty. Now this copy pasta makes more sense.
I'm sprinting around the city just doing ncpd gigs. Insane money and I get to help the police

Yeah sometimes you get wanted level from killing gangers. They'll probably fix it soon.

yeah but can I frick Songbird?
I wanted to try something new but just went back to netrunner anyways. At least I am using cyberware way more and having monowire skills in the int tree is neat. I am pretty kuch ignoring firearms and dismantling them all right away to make the game a bit harder
I been a netrunner on my latest play through. It's been pretty fun killing with the wire.
did they remove PAX from the game or fricking what
Gonna play on console cause my PC needs updated. What's a good build for playing with a controller (i.e. not precise shooting heavy)?
melee, quickhacks, or shotguns. before 2.0, I used the tech shotgun with a tiny bit of quickhacking only through my cyberdeck
the cs.rin.ru pirate build
I was doing an assault rifle run, then I came across a shotgun that fires tank shells and fell in love.
The "I'm not buying Cyberpunk 2077: Broken Steel" build
>DLC ending is literally the worst and most depressing of them all
The ending is depressing but weirdly fulfilling
Agile monke that bonks and slices
i dunno tried it the other night on a playthrough just after act 1. i went from blasting through missions slicing everyone up with katanas to giving people mild cuts and having to find cover. not sure if im having fun.
>friend mentions new ending lets you throw shitterhand into the trashcan
>see all the other details
welp
30bux saved.
seeing all the spoilers reminds me that Ganker is no different that the zoomers who watch a streamer play a game rather than play it themselves.
100% the same people.
>j-just spend $35 to f-find out y-yourself! cmon!
nah eat shit
I don't like 2.0 so I'm never playing the DLC
Lost my save file so i started over again. Currently running pistols/katana/netrunning

Im going to be a regular guy and beat the game with zero perks and cyperware and use what ever guns i feel like any given moment.

Hey there everyone, it's great to have you back.
So, did you hear about the Arasaka aircraft carrier docked in Night City?
Called Kujira, or The Whale.
This voice line is so annoying because I know the actress, she was on this podcast I used to listen to called the comedy button
I only get the first sentence, loading times are pretty fast with SSD
Trying to go for a katana build but so far its pretty boring, maybe i'll switch to netrunner. Does katana get more interesting later maybe?
how far is so far?
Reflex 15 is where it's at full potential
Oh well im at reflex 13 rn
>this product is not available in your region
Cuka?
there are builds besides shoot guy or stab guy? come back and shill the game when they sell the IP to the japs who know what cyberpunk aesthetic is supposed to be.
Sasquatche's hammer+Comrades hammer+double barrel shotgun
minimum int and tech
