But Wakfu is designed like a strategy RPG. And it's by far the most fun to play as a strategy RPG. With a full party of adventurers.
But relying on a random random-player for each individual party member. Just isn't very conducive to a good strategy RPG time. Especially not compared to you having chosen and cultivated your own RPG party like in an actually sensible strategy RPG.
Why would I want to play this as a single character, then wait forever on everyone else hopefully not taking forever to make their turns, and then again hoping that they weren't moronic when doing so. Before I am allowed to make another decision after getting my turn back. With one singular character.

What they should have done was give every account 3 characters or something.

No multiboxing/botting
When a single physical human being has multiple accounts that they run concurrently in order to provide a benefit to themselves in content intended to be explored by multiple players as a group.
Multiboxing in a strict sense is a having a separate physical computer running the other account(s). This is anachronistic, no one actually multiboxes on separate devices, rather it is a holdover from the old days when it was difficult to run multiple instances of a game on the same machine.
Botting is automating the other accounts, either through macros that the player manually activates for the situation they find themselves in, or completely automated through scripts and rudimentary AI.
So the game is even worse now? If the game was so grindy that people had to use multiple characters to farm stuff, how is it any better that they removed it? I doubt they increased the drop rates or the scaling to fit a single character.
The multibox shit started when the population shrunk down too much. They also implemented the hero system, which lets you control up to 3 characters from the same account at once to keep the game playable.
How are they still making money from this game? Is it that cheap to maintain the servers?

Animation was at its best, probably, but the plot was pretty bad. There's no sense of Adventure since all of it happens inside a guy's tower. Ruel has no reason to be there other than being iconic. Tristepin two sons are annoying at best. Yugo and Amalia couple problems weren't really the most compelling thing to focus on, although the quasi ntr was somewhat funny. And an unborn baby stopping an attack was not cute. Not to mention the ending felt really rushed.
I memoryholed most of the thing.
Also, you DID watch the Ogrest movies/ovas between S2 and 3 right? Because you'll be lost without them.

You need to watch OVAs beforehand and S3 isn't the worst thing ever but it definitely isn't as good as S1 or S2.
They might be able to retroactively fix some of the moronic decisions they made in it but as long as S4 is good in general (big if) I can forgive them.
Also I remember when it was releasing on Ganker that some anon claimed they were supposed to get the budget for twice as long season length (the same length S1 and S2 were) but they either didn't get it or they got fricked over out of it, I don't know if that is true or not though.

S3's direction is just all over the place. First Adamai shows up willing to kill the main crew, then moments later they're with the guy calling the shots and his goal is recruiting them instead but somehow Adamai missed the memo. So they're told to climb the tower to get persuaded into joining, but everyone in there is an butthole. Then the whole tower thing is abruptly interrupted because obligatory epic final battle.

Season 3 still suffered from a LOT of animation re-use from the earlier seasons. You can clearly tell that this season was made on a tight budget.

No, that's not what happened. The girl, Amalia, is in love with the protagonist, Yugo. But Yugo's one of the original founders of an extraterrestrial race that arrived on the planet long ago, and so ages extremely slowly. His mind is fully developed as an adult, but his body is still that of a kid's.
Yugo is also in love with Amalia, but is hesitant to start a relationship because he doesn't want Amalia (the princess of her kingdom) to be known to be dating a shota, and he also doesn't want to vastly outlive his potential wife to the nth degree, and then mourn her for millennia until he eventually dies, or have his love for her fade over time either. For her part, Amalia doesn't think they're problems at all and just wants to frick him, which infuriates Yugo, because he does think they're problems that need addressing, and this frustrates Amalia.
She's kissing this other guy here because the other guy is the main antagonist of season 3, Oropo, and he's actually a time clone of Yugo that got banished into the past and had to take the long way back. Oropo inherited Yugo's memories (and his love for Amalia), and wants to kill and replace Yugo. He introduces himself to Amalia as a grown-up Yugo, who time traveled and finally got over his insecurities and can be with her, and she's thrilled. And hence the kiss. Oropo warped everyone there to watch, partially to publicly break Yugo's spirit so he'd be easier to kill, but Oropo's own girlfriend is one of the people watching too, and she's just as pissed as Yugo.
A little later on Amalia realizes the truth, Oropo isn't really who he claims to be, and she attacks him and returns to Yugo, who has now finally, actually gotten over his hangups. The season 4 previews show Yugo's finally got an adult body of his own, so they can frick each other silly now.

Time travel is basically impossible. The feat Nox was trying to accomplish wasn't possible even for Xelor himself. And that's with an alien artifact as powerful as the cube (which is kinda meaningless really, since only the alien robots would know how to fully utilize it).

In dofus you move from screen to screen and there's a little load time everytime, in wakfu the areas are bigger and the screen scrolls. Besides that every class is different so both games don't play the same. Dofus is more popular.

Yeah, doll playstyle for single player, Lone Sadida (no dolls but big stat boost passive) for groups. They are top tier supports in longer fights since they can maintain WP unlike Masquaraiders and have biggest shields in game.

The reason people multiboxed was because of a mixture of the game being dead and players being moronic or simply unable to do locked out content on the same schedule. It was easier to have 6 of your own accounts fight Kabrok than to try and wrangle 6 people together who aren't going to frick up mechanics. And Ankama was more than happy to sell those characters entirely meant to facilitate it.
Also I don't know if it's still the case, but when they had the bonus drops for having a premium account sometimes it would steal your guaranteed drop from a boss and you'd just get nothing while the results screen taunted you with it in the premium column.
