It plays better than 2 but that game has years of content that only ended just 2 or 3 months ago compounded with build and loadout variety, whereas 3 has a solid to okay roster of heists with limited build and load outs. I would like to see 3 improve but even if it doesn’t 2 still exists, and will work without servers as well.
Rock AIDS is continuing until next year, whereupon it will get one minor update, another minor update the year after, and then it’s functionally done.

They should have included a community tab for custom maps. A couple Shadow Raid and Cook Off knockoffs are the only thing that could make up for the lack of content. Even Payday 2 had over 20 maps across 11 heists at launch.
