You need to play under a DM who knows what he's doing. You'll pick it up immediately.
have a nice day namegay.
And you wonder why people give up on you.

It’s kinda incredible how the smugchud has such consistently abominable takes.
you deserve eachother, now go live in a dumpster so i can light it on fire.
>5e
>too complicated
How do you function? Do you have someone else type your posts for you?
maybe he was looking for the part that tells you how the game starts or what a turn consists of
Then he should have his handler type out the actual issue, instead of being vague.
Is someone typing right now for you? Can you breath manually?
Learn the basics and go. 5E's core is simple but the game itself isn't, you'll learn the interactions as you go.
That's because there is no game.
It's only up to what daddy DM wants to let people do, and even the creators of D&D said you don't actually need the books.
It's a scam.
I'm not defending 5E. It was and still is one of the worst RPGs I've played.
Back in middle school, everyday after school I would always play Heroscape with some lanky dorkier older kid who taught us everything. I asked him about if he could teach us D&D and he always dismissed me and said it was too complicated. This was when 4e was still a thing.
Play 4e
Are you just spamming threads in response to that one moron earlier?
>I thought this was beginner friendly
LOL!
TRICKED!
Nah 5e is far from the most beginner friendly TTRPG. Its just the most popular (for some ungodly reason)
What you want is B/X
If you want d&d but something more light go for BFRPG (basic fantasy role playing game, it's d&d b/x without thac0 and descending AC), it's even free and has tons of supplements.
This. It's a better D&D than I played in the 90s. White Box: Fantastic Medieval Adventure Game or EZD6 are other solid recommendations. These options are all way simpler to learn and play than 5e.
The real 5e is an oral tradition, the book is only used to make characters and settle arguments.
I dont believe you
5e is made for complete toddlers to play with
It's like ttrpg on the easy mod
they make a starter set and essentials kit
5e is shit, everybody who plays it actyally disregards the book beyond character generation and basic resolutions, and they believethey "play the game"
Use D&D older than 2e or Labyrinth Lord instead, you'll find what you are searching for

Go back to Ganker
Thankfully they have a general which would surely give you all the advice and guidance you could ever want:
It is quite strange that you decided to make a whole new thread, though. On /tg/ that's usually only done by schizoids who think they're making some kind of a statement about generals or the board in general.

Sage in all fields

I'm going to be constructive here...
You should have a nice day.
